This location really needs to remodel the inside. The carpet smell is horrible and is torn up good in some locations. Really dirt looking carpet. Seat booths need to be cleaned on the sides. Crumbs and hair ties in between the walls. Wrote a review on the website to let management know how dirty the location was but no response as of yet. This location was on quarantine for two weeks. When it reopened I took my family and we got sat at a table in the corner by some windows. The windows had spiderwebs on both sides. The picture doesn't even capture it on the wood. You would think being closed for to weeks to sanitize everything that clean your windows would be one of them. This should be done on a daily basis anyway. Employee answering the phone as 'hello' and then being a sarcastic snot when I asked if I had called Applebee's and then the manager said 'not our problem, we fixed the food' ... ok, so it will become your problem when I rate your food as 'cold' when it finally arrives. So Mike (the manager I spoke with) has no desire to make sure we had what we ordered. I'm guessing the DD driver decided she wanted Applebee's for dinner and knew I would eventually give up and cancel the order. No more DoorDash from Applebee's. This is the third bad experience I have had with this location. A table of four sat down 20 minutes after our party of two and that table of four had their food eating it before our two cheeseburgers and fries came out. After ten minutes of watching them eat we cancelled our order and paid for our drinks and appetizers. This location is consistently a disappointment. One positive note the appetizers were okay. This is a review for the Car Side To Go Service. I ordered the Pepper Crusted Sirloin* w/ Whole Grains. It comes with 4 oz. USDA Choice top sirloin, sautéed spinach, onions, roasted grape tomatoes and balsamic mushrooms for $13.29. With Car Side, you wait outside in one of the Car Side parking spaces and they bring the meal out to your car. My meal came out tilted in the plastic bag with the lid not closed on the container. The liquid leaked all over the bag and utensils. When I put the bag down, it leaked in my car and got all over my hands and clothes. Additionally, the food does not look very appetizing in an oversized container. Now, I know they won't have containers for each type of meal, but a smaller one for the smaller meals would make your food look better and it would be nice to find ones where it is easy for your waiters to put the lids on and ensure it is closed. Though, the meal looked bad and the meat was a bit on the tough side, it had a good taste and I'm sure it would have even been better had it had more of the liquid that leaked out of the ajared lid. I'm probably not going to come back to this Applebees, but worse yet, I probably won't ever try Car Side To Go at any other Applebees again. read more

Don't know why so ,any negative reviews to be honest, went with my wife on a Saturday night and was quite pleased. It was a typical busy Saturday night. Anywhere you go around dinner time will have a little bit of a wait. Only waited about 10-15 minutes to be seated. We order the appetizer tray they've always had, came out fine, honey barbecue wings were really good. I ordered a medium done steak with shrimp. My wife ordered this pasta dish that came with some glazed chicken of some sort on it. My steak was a little tough, but still good, but my shrimp were cooked beyond saving. My wife's pasta was a little odd... Instead of tossing the chicken in the glaze they were using, then putting it over the pasta, they just dumped the glaze all over the pasta and chicken. Our server corrected for us with no problem at all! She was a very nice young girl (who I can't remember the name of now sadly) and was very attentive to her tables! read more

BEWARE!!!! This particular location is just down right awful. Most times they are understaffed and food times are ridiculously slow. My last visit, yes, stupid me, I keep returning hoping my experience gets better but this last time was the worst EVER!! It took about 45 mins to get our appetizers (spinach and artichoke dip) and a French Onion soup. After another 40 mins went by, we had to hunt down our server (who never came to check on us after serving our app's) to cancel our order. Never once did we get an apology nor a credit on our food. DON'T..... If you are considering giving this chain a shot, make it one that's quick, relatively painless, and hopefully, puts it right out of its misery. I don't know if the fault is lack of management, poor training, an ADVANCED case of apathy, or just an INCREDIBLY bad night, but this place on Sunday, 6/26 was EVERYTHING that's wrong with local chains!!! Fifteen to twenty minutes to be seated when seating was CLEARLY available was our first clue that it was going to be a rough night (and if it were up to us alone, and we weren't part of a larger group, it would have been the only one we needed!!). There's no excuse for being in "cleaning up/shutting down for the night" mode at 6:30pm, regardless of the day of the week... The hostess and wait staff almost appeared to be fighting over who would "get stuck" with our group of six...!! Icing on the cake? When we finally were seated, it was a still dirty corner "curved" booth, PERFECT choice for our group which included four senior citizens!! I saw a large, easier to manage table in the "we want to get out of here, so we're going to pretend this area doesn't exist" section of the restaurant. It was untouched from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. I asked if we could switch to that table vs. the messy, uncomfortable booth, and was told "yeah, sure, if you want to wait another 15-20 minutes. I translated that to "HELL NO!!" Summing up the experience, we had a well-intentioned (but VERY confused, under-trained) waitress, mixed up/forgotten portions of our orders (ice cream dessert brought out with the meal's always a good idea...) and other lazy, avoidable problems. I'm (usually) far from picky, and while not ALL chains are this lackluster, it seems to be happening more and more. Do they care? Not really, in my opinion. They're getting the steady stream of $$$ from the masses, who mostly keep coming out of habit/lack of options. Applebee's is an American Pastime restaurant .. So .... It doesn't have to be great but does need to have great service. I ordered the chicken Penne .. Easy on my Crohnie tummy today! And always enough for seconds. It was actually quiet and relaxing. The food was pretty good .. My only issue was I ate most of my food without a refill while watching the guests at the table next to me be offered refills over and over. I think maybe since I'm a lone diner that well.... My tip wasn't as important. I was disappointed. As soon as I finally received my refill .. I was then hounded about whether I wanted a check (literally within 2 mins asked twice). Oh well ... I know when i go out to eat that my meal will be hit or miss. Tonight was a big miss. First the french onion soup i ordered was cold. Cheese was not even melted at all. Sent it back and was returned luke warm. I also ordered a shrimp and rice dish. It would have been great but the rice was severely under cooked. What I got was a smelly fishy plate of shrimp, without wontons, because apparently they're out of them but just didn't feel like breaking that to me before I ordered it. We ate here a few weeks ago and they weren't very busy but I noticed a few things that made me feel really good about eating here: 1. Our server was very attentive and friendly (which I always appreciate). 2. The manager was checking on tables and when she noticed that my husband's drink was empty she offered to fill it, when he told her that our server was already on it, she was genuinely happy to know that her staff was one step ahead of her. But it was SO nice to see that the manager was not only checking on people but also working tables to prevent people from getting antsy. 3. We also ordered the spicy chilli cheese nachos and there was hardly any chilli under the huge mound of lettuce and chips, unsatisfactory to say the least. Actually this rating of one is generous. Ok so we all have grown accustomed to waiting the usual 35 to 45 minute wait. Even though I must say there were more than a dozen empty tables this past Saturday. My complaint is we came in and sat next to the only other people there on the complimentary bench seat. The hostess was not at the station so we could provide our name for the wait. See we've played this game before. We'll low and behold another family walks in and she magically appears and places their name on the wait list which meant we would be seated after them. Even though we advised the hostess we had already been there waiting. Ok finally seated after 30 minutes. We ordered from their double menu which provides two meals and the appetizers. We ordered the Skillet Bourbon Chicken and shrimp. My complaint is the vegetables of mushrooms, and onions was maybe two tables spoons full and the Bourbon sauce that accompanied this dish in the past is reduced to Bourbon seasonings. So it was severely dry. We mentioned this to the waitress and she said she had been told the same thing by previous customers. It proved to be a waist of time and money. As a family of 4, 2 kids 2 adults, we though it would be a nice change of pace. Parking was easy enough but the lot is fairly dark. We got seated without having to wait. Which was surprising considering how busy it was (6:30 on a Friday night). Our server was new(er) and didn't know the menu very well. Not a big deal, because everyone has to start sometime, and knowledge comes with experience. Our drinks and appetizer came out quickly and where delicious. Our meal, however took longer than it should have. We ordered two salads, a burger, chicken strips and fries. It took about a half hour for everything to come out. When it did the food was good, my salad was warmed to room temperature, but my sons burger was steaming hot and cooked to perfection. My poor review is based on... 1. Well I am sad to see the Applebee's struggle is not contained to my home neighborhood. To begin our group of five was seated at a bar top table allowing me to watch the bartender unknowingly move her scarf across surfaces, over the ice she'd scoop into drinks etc. The place was busy on a Saturday leading me to hope that meant the food would actually be of the quality the chain touts on their commercials. We ordered the queso appetizer and it was fairly good. And thankfully there where enough chips to share, because our meal orders did not arrive for a long time. Other tables seemed to be getting their meals, so what was up? No explanation was offered other than jokes that we must be starving. Unfortunately when the food did arrive, it was clear they let his chicken and potatoes sit and char on the sizzling plate, while my shrimp and broccoli cavatapi pasta got cold. And neither was very good or filling. While our server was kind throughout our time there and this is a casual restaurant, it was awkward to have to request she clear away plates and glasses from a table already crowded by a condiment contraption, too many laminated menue things, and one of those absurd touch screen devices (I'd rather talk to a human server and my table mates rather than click to order and pay to play games, thank you). I just don't know how Applebee's will remain the neighborhood bar and grill they project without remodeling more than the building especially attitudes regarding food quality and overall experience. read more

I believe I'm suffering food poisoning from the steak philly but even if this is a stomach flu i wouldn't eat here again the food quality is bad, really bad. Its expensive for what your paying for.
