Stopped to get lunch. The place was empty since they had just opened.The "hostess"? Seated us way in the back for whatever reason. Probably so we could be ignored easily! We waited 10 mins . Another couple came in and a waiter from the back walked right by us and greeted the people that just sat. We walked out. Wont be back. No excuse for that. The only reason I come back here is because this is the only place that you can bring your family to eat around here However be warned of the poor management here. Servers are great. Cook must be watching TV since they always get things wrong. It's to bad. Could be a four star place. read more

Absolout waste of time. Went in on Monday night, seated then ignored for 10-minutes. No one approached the table. Manager was less than 3 feet from me "chatting" with the young lady who seated me. Tonight I got some undercooked chicken, even had my husband double check because I'm not one to give my food back. The staff were really kind and very responsive. They instantly replaced my meal no question and took the meal off my check. Very friendly staff and good service! (I've been here and never had bad food this was an anomaly) read more

I dont know what the trend is but WHY??? everything is either covered in mushrooms or shellfish (shrimp) I happen to be allergic to both and am terrified each time I go there. Rumor has it that the grill is used for both and the regular food. Cross contamination is a worry. The staff is friendly (they cover their nose rings and tats) and the restrooms are clean and well stocked. Desserts are yum! and the drinks are inventive and sweet. Too bad they dont have more concern about such common allergies and use a separate grill for such items. read more

I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants. However, the wife and I stopped in one day while driving by. Our server Brian was amazing and my wife can't get enough of their grilled oriental chicken salad. So needless to say, we stop everytime we're passing through Keene. Promos are nice but for the price Keene has better choices. Service is average to poor. Mozzarella sticks are the cheap frozen junk.

This chain os degrading more and more ever time i come. Waitress is so weird, food is botched, over cooked, over salted, very poorly presented. Extremely disappointing 1 * then 40 minutes after lunch got sick as a dog. read more

On 7/20/18 ordered car side to go. Ordered baked haddock with cracker crumbs. About 30 minutes after I ate it was very ill. I called the next day to let them know to check their fish order because I would not want anyone else to be sick. The manager told me know one else has called so....? Where do I even begin. Great service. The REAL problem is this dumb ass girl at my table. She is a vegetarian for god knows why, and ordered the three cheese chicken penne, and didn't even say without chicken, therefore causing the great working staff more trouble then needed. My Husband and I were looking for a nice meal out. We made the mistake of going to this Applebees in Keene nh. The drinks were okay but DO not order the Baked Haddock with Ritz cracker topping. It would be less then 1 but you have to choose at least one star to lease a review...We have been going here every Saturday for four years. We just went back this Saturday 6/20/2020. The dinning room is open for the first time since they closed due to covid. I have to say they did a great job at spacing the tables and the seating at the bar . They could remove some of the stools at the bar to insure that no one sit closer then 6 feet. I asked the bartender if mask are required in the restaurant until patrons got to their tables? To my SUPRISE she said "were pro choice". I said "that was BS with a few other words that I'm leaving out of this post. They have to walk by seated guess on their way to a table or the bathrooms without a mask that puts them within 6 feet from other people". I said if the guest does not want to ware a mask you have outside seating they can eat out there.She said "I know" and walk away from us. Mind you all the employees are waring them. I looked at Ron and said this will be our last visit here. Its a shame that Applebee's is not looking out for everyone's health and safety at their reopening. Because of this we will not be returning and will be spreading the word that they are not requiring masks at all times except at your table like restaurants in Vermont are. Horrible! Ordered some food for pick up, left to pick it up 20 minutes after ordering. My boyfriend went inside to get the food and they made him wait 25 minutes for our food! Some people went in to pick up their food after we'd been already waiting 10 minutes, and they walked out with their food after waiting for 2 minutes! Ridiculous! And when my boyfriend went to pay for the food (he handed her $30 for a $22 check) the hostess smiled at him and said, "Keep the change?" What?? She didn't serve us and we had to wait 25 minutes for our food but she tries to guilt us into giving her $8 for doing nothing? Yikes! The food we waited so long for turned out to be disgusting as well (everything is frozen). Don't waste your money here. read more

My son and I went to Applebee's on a Friday early evening and the place was pretty busy despite which we were seated and served with excellent speed. Our appetizers were average and filling. Our main courses were double crunch shrimp and BBQ brisket tacos. My shrimp was fine with fries and good slaw. My sin's tacos were a mix of flavored that initially did not necessarily go together. He took one home as a leftover and felt that the flavored melded better as it rested. Waitress was really good and atmosphere was solid. We gave it a high C or low B for a grade. read more

The wait staff was good. I was first seated near the door in the winter so was getting a blast of arctic air every time someone came in. I asked to move and did. The food was atrocious- overcooked, salty as the Sahara desert and generic. Thank goodness I had a gift card (lovely but misguided as it turned out). I will not be going back. Ever. read more

I drive the 45 minutes to get to this applebees. the staff is always friendly they go that extra little mile to let my son have something special with his meal. the food is always delicious. and so many choices. my favorite is the provolone stuffed meatballs. yum read more
