We used to love coming. The only good thing about our latest trip was the customer service. The waitress was friendly, as well as the hostess. The food took over an hour to come out (there were three of us) and we had empty glasses most of the night. It wasn't too crowded or busy, and we had to ask for things multiple times like ranch, lids, etc. the tipsy leprechaun was really yummy and worth the $6!

My SO lives around the area but we usually go to the one in Palmdale. This location is more open, airy and has lots of parking lots. We just walked in and there was a wait for like 15 minutes. Once we were called and sat down, we waited for 5 minutes for someone to come get our drinks. It was the man manning the reception - so I told him that he is multi tasking. He gave a good laugh. He gave us time to look at the menu to decide what to order. It was another 10 minutes before someone came to get our order. It was the bartender. We chose from the 2 for $28. Choices are 2 side salads or an appetizer. And an entree. We chose the onion rings. It was crunchy and fresh. We chose the 6 oz Top Sirloin and it comes with 2 sides - mashed potato and broccoli. Our order came in a timely manner. Food temperature is good - it was hot and we were happy with it. The meat was well seasoned and cooked to our preference. However, the broccoli is kind of too crunchy to my liking. A minute or 2 of cooking more would have been perfect. I would definitely come back though. Hopefully they will hire more people to avoid the wait.

    What I paid for

I ordered and payed for a 12 oz ribeye with crispy onion toppers and got a steak that was not a ribeye, no crispy onions and it was over cooked. Horrible and frustrating. I won't be going back.

Really?? Gave me only a teaspoon of ice cream with my brownie bite.

I love going to Applebees for their 2 for $25.00 deal and usually get the steak, mashed potatoes and broccoli. I decided to order a dessert to go and when I got home the ice cream only had a spoon full of ice cream!

A "refill" serving of the bottomless option.

As you drive up it is a stand along building with plenty of parking on the far back left side of the parking lot plaza. The interior is very unique, dark back ground with blue lighting with many wall art pieces and TV's you can view within any seating options. They have bar top seating, table and charges and booths. Plenty of seating for small and large parties. As you can see from the menu pictures below they have many food options depending on what you in the mood for. We stopped in during lunch to test out their wings, we heard they were very good, they did not disappoint. The lunch special is a great way to sample their food, we each had our own wing lunch special, I had the 10 piece, you can get two choices of sauce with the 10pc only, my brother had the 8 piece, each order comes with a drink and your choice of fries or onion rings, great price for the wings. The wings had great flavor and were fair sized, I was very impressed with the "hot" buffalo sauce, very tasty with a small kick, I would recommend a try, I also ordered the spicy teriyaki,it was ok but my brother ordered the spicy lemon pepper that is also a hit and a must try. The french frys were criss cut and good sized portion as well. The staff was friendly, we had a great interaction with the bartender (Ash) who brought over our drinks. Overall, a very good experience, we are also looking for a spot to watch the World Cup games and Ash mention that they were going to support the games, we will be back next week to take in the games and more of the menu.

Following our epically failed experience at the NEW Coach's location in Palmdale, we came here in…read morehopes of enjoying Coach's like we used to. The wait staff was pleasant enough, but all the additional charges are out of hand! I had ran into this issue here, previously, as well as at the NEW Coach's just earlier today. We ordered one dozen wings. We asked for the six flats of the order to be "mild" and the six drums to be the spiciest they have (which is not spicy at all). We asked for them to be extra wet. My wife likes ranch with hers, while I like blue cheese. When the ticket is presented, there are up-charges for ALL FLATS and ALL DRUMS, a charge for the blue cheese, a charge for ordering the wings wet. Seriously?! First of all, I had spoken to a manager at this location previously about the up-charges for separating the flats and drums to different flavor profiles. The manager agreed that I should not be charged for this and removed those charges. In discussion with the manager at the NEW Coach's, earlier today, the same consensus was relayed. STOP CHARGING FOR THIS! Look, I could understand if I was ordering six or twelve wings and asking for all of them to be drums or flats. When one orders twelve wings, which is generally equal amounts of drums and flats, why am I attempting to be up-charged twice for having one sauce on all the flats in my order and another sauce on all the drums? Why are you charging me for another dipping sauce on an order of twelve wings? You give one dipping sauce for an order of six wings. You think one dipping sauce is compatible for an order of twelve? You charge me for asking for our wings extra wet? The only reason we ask for them that way is because the wings are nearly dry if you don't. And, the little dollop of sauce that came with the wings was hardly worthy of being called "wet". I had to ask for more sauce because there was not enough to even consider them being viewed as wet when they arrived to the table. This place is going downhill; quick, fast, and in a hurry since the transition to new ownership. Coach's used to be a place we could enjoy going to and count on their menu staples being available (if they weren't sold out!). The fried green beans were in high demand. So much so that they were sold out when we went, a few times. Their pretzels were also a huge hit! The new owners removed them from the menu. I know they have had numerous requests to bring them back, but they couldn't care less. The food has gone downhill, the wait staff is not as lively and personable as they used to be, the extra charges are ridiculous, and the new owners don't give a rat's a$$ about their customers; they only care about trying to make money (while removing a couple of the best selling items on the original Coach's menu). Make that make sense! Remove sell-out items when your only focus is about making money. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because the waitress was halfway attentive. Good luck with your future, as you continue to lose previously loyal customers!

Back again--and this place continues to impress!…read more We decided to branch out and try more of the menu this visit, including the sliders, Parmesan garlic fries, mac and cheese, Micheladas (with Modelo and Pacifico), and the vodka spaghetti with grilled chicken. The pasta was a standout--rich, flavorful, and with a subtle spice I've been trying to recreate for years from a dish I used to love. This came remarkably close. Everything else was just as strong: the sliders were juicy and well-seasoned, the fries were loaded with garlicky Parmesan goodness, the mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, and the Micheladas were crisp and refreshing on a hot day. (Photos attached!) The atmosphere here is what really sets it apart. It's not trying to be a loud, high-energy chain like BJ's or Yard House--instead, it's relaxed, comfortable, and ideal for actually enjoying conversation or a game over a good meal. It's the kind of place where you can slow down and enjoy the experience, and I don't mind paying a bit more for that. Service has also been consistently excellent; our bartender, America, was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home once again. After a couple of visits, it's definitely worth trying for yourself rather than relying on first impressions. We're really glad we found this spot--and definitely will be back to keep exploring the menu, stay tuned!

The layout is perfect, you've got the lounge area with couches and a great bar atmosphere on one side, then the restaurant on the other, with TVs everywhere if you're catching a game. The food has been consistently good every time we've gone. The New York Strip was my favorite, and the skirt steak was also delicious. And don't skip the bread! Their pretzel-style rolls are ridiculously good and worth the hype. For appetisers, I'd recommend the jalapeño poppers, they have a very unique taste! Every cocktail we've tried has been fantastic. If you like margaritas, get the cucumber margarita with the Tajín foam on top. Trust me. Overall, Coach's Tavern is exactly what the AV needed a classy place to grab dinner, have great drinks, watch the game, or just hang out with friends. The main host always welcomes us with the best attitude and great service. We'll definitely keep coming back!

There was no hostess when we walked in so it took a minute to get noticed, but a guy at the takeout counter flagged us down and got us seated. An older lady took our order and let us know about the lunch special instead of just letting us order full price -- 10 bone-in wings for $14 or 10 boneless for $12, comes with a side (fries, or upgrade to wedges/tots) and a drink. Genuinely such a good deal, more people should know about it. Our server Daija was excellent -- sweet, attentive, introduced herself as soon as she got back from break. A big rush came in later (3-4 tables at once) and she ended up handling all of them solo. Handled it really well, stayed friendly the whole time even though the place felt a little short-staffed. Food was a mixed bag. We got Asian Zing, mango habanero, Thai curry, and German jalapeno. Thai curry was the surprise favorite -- slightly heavy-handed but it worked. Asian Zing was standard/solid. German jalapeno sauce felt a little thin, not as lemony or spicy as usual. Mango habanero was the letdown -- had the mango flavor but no actual habanero heat, which kind of defeats the point. Tots were crispy, wedges were great, wings were cooked well texture-wise -- it was really just sauce consistency that needed work. Customer service carried this visit.
