We ordered our drinks and my friend ordered a oreo shake and it took 45 mins to come out! we ordered our food as soon as we sat down and we sat there for 2 WHOLE HOURS!!! when a person in our party asked the manager what was taking so long she said she would check and never got back to us. when we peeked in the kitchen the workers were standing around and one was eating pasta looking around. but out server was incredible if i had her name i would SHOUT HER OUT! read more

We waited 40 minutes for two appetizers. The appetizers were served warm, not hot. (Baked Spinach and Artichoke dip) We ordered unsweetened tea with sweetener. We got sweet tea with sweetener. The Ugly. The couple (who came in when we did and had two servings of riblets before our food arrived) beside us ordered the all you can eat riblets. I went there and everything started off fine. Me and my buddy ordered waters, it took oddly long to get are water but that wasn't a big deal. When I was brought my water there was a bug in it, I thought oh okay I'll just get another water but when she brought me my second water there was a hair in it. We ordered delivery last Saturday. Quite a large order as we are a family of 8. A large portion of our order was missing so we requested a credit/refund for that. Unfortunately that left us scrambling to make accommodations to feed those whose food didn't arrive. After taking care of that, I sat down to enjoy my order. I had asked for a well done hamburger with fries and a side of mozzarella sticks. My burger looked like it was going to moo and run away in was so red inside! I thought alright, let's try the mozzarella sticks-nope. They were still cold and hard inside as though they had just been removed from the freezer, the outside warmed and thrown in my takeout container. Overall it was a great place, a simply nice establishment with a little more class while staying in a decent budget. Here are some of the dinners we got but not all of them. We went here for homecoming. I personally ended up getting ribs which were good and tender and fries, which you can't go wrong with fries so very nice. Along with the steak which was a little fatty but overall not bad. The garlic potato though where fantastic pur usual and yes so overall very nice place will eat there again. read more

I kept getting stared at by the greeter. The food was good though, just was uncomfortable the entire time.

I'm sorely disappointed in the quality of the food. It is really a shame. Applebees usually has decent food, and usually gets my order correct. If there is confusion about the order, it is usually somehow relative to sounding similar. Please explain how applesauce sounds like mozzarella sticks. I ordered applesauce for my 4 year old child as a side, they bring her mozzarella sticks. I have always loved the Bourbon Street Sirloin. That is what I always order, I like it medium rare. Boy was I disappointed. My steak was, at the least, medium well (closer to well). It was so tough, I was tempted to go next door to Lowe's to buy a chainsaw to cut through the steak. Chewing it was no better, I think I could have chewed my Jordan's easier than that steak. I will not be back. As far as the ambiance, I'm there for a meal. If I want ambiance I'll go to an art museum. By the way, I gave it one star because it wouldn't accept my review with no stars. I give this place ZERO STARS. read more

My family came for dinner for my father's 94th birthday. The food and the service were decent, but..... My sister had pointed to a "2 for $30" special for salmon on a menu and the waitress asked if she wanted the appetizer, but my sister said no. When the bill came in, the salmon was full price. They would not honor the "2 for $30" price unless she included the appetizer. The waitress had NOT stated that when my sister was ordering. They insisted we had to order the appetizer right then and there (It will only take 8 minutes!), so we did. A full 15 minutes later, the appetizer had not arrived. We ate there today. Good service, good food. I have one suggestion, that I hope they would take in consideration. We are handicap, with one in large wheelchair. If they could try to save those tables by the bar for the handicap. I know they have the ramp in the back, but not enough space to make the turn to get to the table. I generally like this chain; my go-to favorites are the Fiesta Lime Chicken and the Boneless Buffalo Wings. Today I decided to try one of the featured specials, the Cajun Steak and Shrimp. I wish I had gone with my safe go-to options. My four ounce steak, while cooked to the right temperature, was not a very good quality cut of steak. I had to do that thing where you secretly spit out your food into a napkin, after chewing on a gross chunk of gristle. We waited quite awhile for food, which would be understandable if it were super busy or even a little busy but it was about average. The strawberry lemonade was a little watery which was disappointing because it is my favorite drink there. My quesadilla burger was on point, however. The service was poor. The food was poor not sure who was cooking but they must have been a salt person because my wife steak was salty she asked for her steak to be just a little pink very little and it was still alive sent it back and all they did was burn the outside. The shrimps was cold which took about 15 minutes to get the 2nd batch was hot, the riblets was a little salty. I think they got a little carry away with the salt. We try to limit our salt in take due to high blood pressure. Will we go back to that one probably not. read more

This place has really gone downhill. Warm lemonade and semi cool water. Then we were here during non busy hour (Sunday 2:30), so you would think you would get HOT food. Mozzarella sticks were cool, chicken tenders were cool and dried out and fries were cold. Cole slaw really wasn't Cole slaw. All it was, was shredded carrots and lettuce in a cup. Hardly any of the dressing. Never seen such DRY Cole slaw in my life. Hardly anyone was even here, so not sure why the food sat in the kitchen for so long before coming out. We had a wonderful experience at this location. We took my parents out to eat and it could not have been any better. We were greeted first by the host who was fun and did his job with excellence. He seated us promptly and even changed tables for us because of my father's concern of the a/c ceiling vent possibly blowing cold air on him. Two in our party had the bbq short rib tacos that came with cole slaw and seasoned fries. Everything in that dish was an eclectic twist on a standard dish and (not to be too comical) very delish! My wife had spinach artichoke chicken cavatappi. She said that it was very good and the portions were monstrous. Another in our party had the lemon chicken and said it was very good. The server was the best. She knew the menu like hee own book eand even warned someone in our party that a dish was spicy hot, to make sure that was ok, it wasn't so they ordered a different dish. I absolutely love the curbside pickup, it's very convenient - especially for someone like me who has social anxiety and hates eating in restaurants. We ate there today after staying away for 6 months. I think 6 months is not long enough. We had to wait for at least 25 minutes for our cold food to get to table. After a few bites I had had enough and told our sever that we wouldn't eat anymore. The server notified the manager and he apologized and took our food off the bill. I'm not sure if the fault.was with the sever on the cold food but she didn't make the tasteless food. We won't be back ever. Sad since Moline has such poor sit down restaurants.
