One of the best Applebee's you can go to. Fantastic wait staff and fast service. Clean facilities. Noting to complain about!!

The food here has been on a decline as new and "exciting" menu options are added. The service on the last several visits has likewise been lacking but this most recent visit was ridiculous, We ordered beverages as soon as we were seated. Water, Diet Pepsi and coffee with cream and sugar. The coffee was brought out quickly with no cream or sugar or spoon. Even after asking and reminding the server she still did not bring any. It took over an hour for our food to come to the table. The server stated that the plates were hot which was true. The plates were hot but not the food. I ordered fish as chips there was cold undrained grease congealing on the fish, Another in the party had ribs. The meat was thoroughly dried out and full of bone chips. There is a caution about allergens on the menu and a statement about not being able to assure that an allergen is not being in a specific item, That makes sense, what does not make sense is loading the classic cole slaw with cilantro without warning. Way too overpriced for TV dinner quality food. We were seated at 4:10 we left as soon as we received our paid receipt at 6:45 never again. read more

Should have read the yelp review before eating here...slow service...like 45 minutes from order, hot restaurant, Alfredo with sauce nothing more than warm skim milk and grilled chicken direct from a bag of Walmart-Tyson meats. Burger was tasteless unless you count the burned bun. I've served tons better at a soup kitchen...for free. read more

Never again! I paid almost eleven dollars for a salad to go and when I get back to the motel room I find barely enough lettuce to cover the bottom of the container and the paltry amount of dressing has spilled out of the container because they didn't put a lid on it. Food wasn't ready on time for call in order, so left and came back because it was going to be over a half over, came back and food was cold. Steak cooked wrong. Fried are inedible. Not a very good experience. read more

I have eaten here many times and the staff and service were always good. The 2 for $20 specials are pretty decent. A bit pricey but for the quality of the food, I don't mind paying it. I've gotten the steak here many times and it was always of good quality and was cooked perfectly. read more

The worst service ever. Not worth the wait for mediocre food. Everyone stood around talking instead of doing their jobs and our drinks were never refilled. I wasnt happy and haven't been back since. It's very sad because when they first opened it was great. That was years ago but they have gone down hill. read more

Received a gift card for Applebees from a relative as a Christmas gift. Decided to give them a try right after they opened in the morning to compare with our previous experience. We were basically the very first customers to come in. We were seated very quickly by the hostess and our waitress arrived with menus and to take our beverage orders within just a couple of minutes. Wife eventually decided to try their Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp platter, I went with their chicken tenders basket. Our waitress stopped by after a few minutes to apologize for the wait even though it had been less than ten minutes since she had taken or order. Our orders arrived within 15 minutes and were cooked perfectly. Service was great and very pleasant. We experienced absolutely nothing to discourage us from continuing to frequent this restaurant. read more

Driving through on our way home from out of town and needed a nicer meal than a drive thru and we were ALL very happy! Super nice (adorable) waiter. Food was fantastic! Definatly would go back to this Applebee's if in that area. read more

I have given Applebee's enough chances to serve good food and to give good service. No More. This restaurant still has patrons either because people don't have expectations or they eat there on a rare night when everything accidentally goes right. I will never return. I came here with my parents yesterday for lunch during our Moving Part 1. I ordered the food online for take-out about 30 minutes prior to arrival. It was not good. I ordered a whole rack of honey bbq baby back ribs with fries & applesauce. What I got was 2 half portions of a rack of ribs with no sauce, cole slaw & applesauce that came in a squeezable tube (yes, the kind that you give your kids). Quelle horreur! The ribs were kind of horrid. Semi-tender & definitely not fall off the bone. Sort of spicy. I have had better, much much better. The cole slaw was I don't know since I couldn't eat the darn thing. The applesauce was comical. Seriously. I would never think I would eat such a thing, but I did. The taste was well "ok." I would have rather preferred homemade applesauce than this ridiculousness. Who doesn't give bbq sauce in the entire state of Missouri with their rack of ribs?????? I gave Applebee's this last chance to redeem themselves & no more. read more

Very dissatisfied with the new management here in the bluff. They've changed things and definitely NOT for the better. I ordered my usual (because I'm a creature of habit so I'm very familiar with this meal) parmesan shrimp steak, med rare, and while the steak was cooked right it was virtually ALL grizzle and difficult to eat and what used to be cheesy awesomeness is apparently now, a thin runny salty sauce. My husband ordered his steak medium and I've seen shoe leather less well done (and thanks to the movie Waiting, we would rather be shot than send food back for not being cooked right) The mashed potatoes (which have always been my Applebee's fav) were sticky and flavorless like paste (don't ask why I know what paste tastes like) and the grilled vegetables were basically raw but watery. How do veggies even get watery on a GRILL?!? The service wasn't terrible but I've had better. All in all a very disappointing dinner for date night and if I want Applebee's again I guess I'll have to go to Cape Girardeau or Farmington read more
