She never got us more drinks, never got us our food, and even gave us a look for even asking for a menu to order. This reminded me of why my family no longer goes to Applebee's. We had problems from the start. My wife tried to order the pick two lunch only to learn they do not have that on Sunday's. No offer from our waitress to modify or try to get something similar for my wife. My wife then asked what the sever had that was vegetarian since she couldn't order the tomato basil soup or Caesar salad she originally wanted. The sever looked confused and finally offered a vegetarian pizza. Our order of vegetarian pizza, two kids Mac and cheese, riblets basket, and my Bruch all day burger took over an hour to get. Then we had all sorts of issues with our food. My wife's vegetarian pizza had congealed cheese, was slimy and greasy, she ate what she did with a fork. My daughters Mac and cheese was cold and chewy. Lastly my Bruch all day burger was burnt, well done and overly dry. The only person at our table who had a decent lunch was my son who had the riblets. I normally would have sent our food back but we had already waited an hour for the first round and didn't want to have to wait any longer. Other things that contributed to this 1 star review. We never got drink refills in almost 90+ mins at the restaurant. Never saw the manager or had someone ask why most of our plates were not eaten. Just here's your check for $50 and have a nice day. I took my wife out for mothers day at the Princeton WV, it was the worst meal I have had, half of the meals were wrong, the ones that did show up, the steak was ordered medium well and Ribs, the steak was very rare and the ribs were burnt, my wife's meal was well over cooked not what she ordered it total ruined the night out with my wife, it will be a long time if ever I go back to that low class place. The only reason I gave them one star is because it would not let me leave 0 stars, the should be a shamed of them self messing up a meal that bad. read more

We arrived arrived around 9 pm only to find that the bartender was taking her break and nobody wanted our table. The wings were by far the worst I have had. French onion soup was cold. Ordered a gin and tonic and it was served with water. Lots of dishes banging in the kitchen. Place definitely had no manager on duty. Wish you and your crew lots of luck. My wife and me haven't been to an Applebee's in years and now I remember why. We decided to go tonight and it was a huge mistake. The only reason they're getting one star is because it won't let me gIve zero stars. After being seated it took nearly 15 minutes for someone to even come to the table. Half the tables were empty. They were not busy. We placed our orders and I couldn't get the beer I wanted because something was wrong with the beer tap. We waited 30 more minutes for our salads and that was only because we asked for them. We had to ask for forks and knives. It took them an hour from the time we ordered to get our entrees out. My order was wrong. I was suppose to have mashed potatoes and they gave me fries. The waitress said she would bring some mashed potatoes out to me but I never saw them. In the time we were there we were told by the waitress that they had run out of lettuce, ice and Dr.Pepper. After of this they couldn't even get our bill right. They charged us for a drink we didn't even get. Never again Applebee's, never again!! read more

I've had Applebee's before in Niagara Falls and really enjoyed it. This place not so much. The only nice thing I have to say is the staff were friendly and the 2 rum and cokes I had tasted like rum and cokes and were under $4 each. The food was disgusting. I ordered a banquet burger and fries for my son who has never complained about any burger in his life. He took one bite and said it was disgusting. He didn't even eat the fries. I ordered the chicken burger with bacon and cheese. The chicken smelled funny and the bun was burnt. My wife had a salad and mozza sticks. Two items pretty hard to screw up. The lettuce was brown and the mozza sticks were over cooked and the cheese had leaked out. The liquor is cheap so if your going to eat here drink lots of it first. After a long day of driving, we wanted a drink to relax before going to our hotel room for the night. This was the WRONG place to go! They had no Chardonnay at 8:00 on a Saturday night! So we ordered a vodka martini. They brought a glass that was 1/2 full including the olives! All of this took an inordinate amount of time, and we decided to call it quits and go somewhere else, which of course, took an inordinate amount of time! Our office ordered lunch today from this location. We were looking forward to it. I ordered the Grilled onion sirloin w/ stout gravy and red potatoes at $12.99 and a bowl of French onion soup for $3.99. The potatoes were not cooked all the way through and the French onion soup tasted like they just added water to it and warmed it up this morning. My co-workers ordered different salads which they were disappointed with the portions. Total ticket cost $84.65. Also, a co-worker said he could have gotten a better burger at Hardees for half the price. My suggestion is not to waste your time or hard earned money at this Applebee's location. We won't. Applebee's is my favorite restaurant... Usually. Not this one! We waited over 10 minutes and no one ever came by to offer drinks. I had to ask the hostess if our table was assigned to a server. The hostess then brought us our drinks and said the server didn't know that his assignment had changed. Really? The server was apologetic and attentive until we received our food. Only saw him once after that. We seriously waited 25 minutes with our hands folded under our chins before he asked if we wanted boxes. Not cool Applebee's. Thankfully the food was great. read more

This was our first stop. On a Thursday night at 7:00 the place had only a few customers. That's weird, right? Applebees at home usually has a small wait to get a table. We were seated immediately....at a table with cinnamon, sugar and other music. Crumbs from the previous guests. Nasty. No one comes to our table. 10 minutes later someone comes by to see if anyone has come by....uhhhhh, no! We ask them to wipe the table. With a big nasty wet cloth she takes 2 swipes across the table not even hitting the spot in front of me. Husband says, let's go. We try to leave, a unkempt manager approaches our table and asks how he can make things right. Messy hair and lint and dog hair, dried food all over the front of his pants. Just ate at Applebee's yesterday evening. The food was good, our server was delightful, and the desserts were to die for. Wednesday night karaoke brings in a crowd every time I've stopped in Princeton on Wednesday. Good food reasonable drink prices.

The lemon chicken salad was delicious; at less than 700 calories and 42g of protein, it's fantastic! Stopped at 6 pm on Sunday. One thing that is troublesome: the ladies room is disgusting! If they care for the kitchen anyway like they care for the bathrooms...do not stop here! The ladies room is worse than the worst truck stop; smells horrible, paper towel dispensers are broken, sink and taps are broken, used paper everywhere like it had not been cleaned in weeks. One has to wonder, if they can't maintain a clean restroom do they really clean the kitchen? read more

Recently spent a couple nights in Princeton and wound up at AppleBee's for Happy Hour and dinner. Both visits were great. Lisa was slinging drinks at Happy Hour and was personable and on top of things keeping us topped off with solid drinks. The following night we were there for dinner and some late night entertainment. Meals were on point and service was good and consistent with AppleBee's. All the staff was friendly and on their game. First off it took 20 minutes to get drinks. Then when they finally came to get our order the waitress was not attentive. 75% or the order was wrong. I found not one but two hairs in my burger. I litterally had 10 fries on my plate and when I asked why I didn't get a serving of fries and everyone else did, she said that we only get four ounces. But still didn't explain why everyone else got half a plate full. One of the people I was with didn't receive cheese on her CHEESEburger. And plus the fries we did receive were heavily coated in a thick layer of salt. The service and the food completely ruined my dinning experience and I will never return to this resteraunt. I have been a resident of Princeton all my life and I can personally tell you that most people in town do not like Applebees in Princeton WV and ill explain why........Last night I met two friends that came into town and wanted to eat at Applebees so I went along with them. I haven't been there in about 2 years because the last time was a bad experience so I thought I would give it another shot...bad idea! It started out ok until our appetizers came out and they gave me boneless wings and I specifically ordered bone in so it upset the waitress because she had to take it back.It went downhill from there because we waited for drinks the rest of the night and my friend hesitated a little on his entrée and that seemed to really upset the waitress who I personally thought was rude the entire time.No manager ever came over to ask us about our meal and we wanted dessert too which we got but as soon we got it it seemed like she wanted to give us our bill and get away from us.Also the fact that none of us were drinking alcohol also got me upset we were treated this way. This lady messed up my appetizer order and took it out on us, that's the long and short of it. went to the all you can eat shrimp, chicken, or riblets, qas seated very quick was only about 8 other tables seated. waitress was very quick to get there took drink order and the drinks came quick. placed our order was 8 of us we ordered the shrimp, riblets, and chicken all you can eat amongst us all, IT TOOK 25 minutes for our food to arrive would be very understandable if the place was packed, but not busy at all. we got our dishes, and was surprised to see how much you actually got, finished the first plate ordered more and took just as long to get a plate refill, but, this time you barely got any chicken only 6 shrimp and thought wow that's it? so before we could get started on that little bit the server acted as if we were a bother to her and I guess she didn't want to fool with the back and forth running for more of the all you can eat items, so, instead she brought our bill as if she wanted us to leave I wasn't finished I wanted more and ordered more and the server acted as if was a big bother . MY ADVICE, if your going to have an all you can eat on your menu, then one should eat til their done and not feel uncomfortable about asking for more, nor should one feel rushed out the door because you are getting what you ordered. even though the wife left a $20.00 tip I wouldn't have and opposed it to my wife but , we have decided not to go back there had issues a few years ago and haven't been back til this past week. well we are completely DONE with this location.
