I'm not a regular reviewer of restaurants but my experience today is worthy of more than the five stars offered! Immediately on walking in for a late lunch I was incredibly impressed with the cleanliness. I'm not sure I've been to an establishment that us looked better! The add to the experience lunch (Cajun blackened salmon and broccoli and green beans) were the best I've had dining out at many comparable establishments! Service was outstanding! The menu has a wide variety of dishes that are suitable for every taste and the bar offers a nice variety of beer, wine and mixed drinks. The restaurant is very clean, the service is friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. I have dined there a few times and have never had any issues: food is as described, temperatures are correct, everything is fresh. The waitstaff have always been friendly and attentive, without bothering the diners every few minutes. Seating is usually instant, though like any restaurant, there could be a slight wait during busy nights/hours. For a family night out, a casual business meeting, friends get-together or a date, Applebee's is definitely the place to go. read more

Where to Start ? I placed a car side to go order, it was ready to pickup 631. I showed up at 635, waited till 655 after checking in 3 times, I finally called to get the manager to bring my order. this is probably my favorite steakhouse...haha oh that was the suggested post. this is my favorite applebys. by comparison, this is 100% better than the vincennes indiana applebees. this place is comfortable, laid back, and has a definite hometown feeling. there isnt immense pressure to rotate through the chairs to maximize profits like the one in vincennes. the food is fantastic, flavorful and vibrant! the staff is friendly, courteous and engaging, and even on the off chance that they do make an error, they are quick to remedy it, and see it through! a very pleasant dining experience! we'll definitely be coming back! read more

They didnt get oor food right. Ordered but they overcooked the bugers as well as everything was cold and was waiting for the food in the parking lot. Will be out in a min. But cold. How could it be cold if we where waiting. Doubt if we return. read more

Nicest Applebee's I've been to! Atmosphere was welcoming and service was good. Had the new fire roasted chicken flatbread sandwich and salad combo. It was so nice to have something on the menu that isn't greasy, and the salad seemed fresh. read more

Our server, Amy, was very courteous, attentive, expedient, and extremely apologetic for the restaurant's shortcomings. This location could learn something from Amy's stellar execution of her job. When we come in an hour and a half or more prior to closing, I expect all menu items to be available, especially at a chain like Applebee's. Had we walked in the door 30 minutes prior to closing, I would expect limited menu options. Alas, they were out of baked potatoes. Baked potatoes... cheap to produce and should stay readily available at all times in an establishment that serves steak. The kitchen didn't bother to tell our server until about 10-15 minutes after I had ordered my steak. Since it was the only thing on the menu I wanted, I was very put off by the impossibility of the steak/baked potato combo I was salivating over. I ended up watching my wife eat her dinner as I sat hungry, determined to go home and grill my own steak and bake my own potato. So much for our mini-celebration after a long day. We'll be heading to Evansville for our next meal out. read more

Ordered carside to go and food wasn't ready when we got there at the time they said it would be ready. Food was cold and they left out a side. We had to call and complain because they left two sides off making us go back to get them. They said they "forgot" them in the back. The chicken quesadilla appetizer I ordered was mushy and for the price looked like it came off of a kids menu. They didn't even offer us anything for our trouble of having to run back after the side items. Thought that this evening would be relaxing instead thanks to Applebee's Carside to go it was more of a hassle. There were a bunch of young kids that didn't act like they knew what they were doing to it may have something to do with it. I would suggest anyone getting a to go order from them to double check the order before you leave. read more

This is the most trashy place I have ever eaten at. First of all, you burnt my onion-rings. And then while in the restrooms I had no toilet paper so I had to ask my stall neighbor for some. THAT IS BOGUS!!!! And you you didn't have soap. Shame on you....don't eat here there may even be herpes on the toilet seat. read more

Applebee's is one of the nicer restaurants in town. The nice thing about Applebee's is it is a good atmosphere, and has a variety of dishes on the menu on a regular basis. They are good about introducing new dishes to change things up. Princeton is a small town so big restaurants are hard to come by. If I want a really good steak, I will have to travel to Evansville, but Applebee's has some good options. read more

We knew going to Applebees not to expect amazing. But we didn't expect it to be as bad as it was. It was a week night and wasn't crowded. Our server was nice. We started our order with an adult beverage and ordered an appetizer. That order was taken and drinks brought right away. So far really great! About 15-20 minutes later our actual meals was brought to us. Never received the appetizer when the server was asked about the appetizer she just stared at us. No biggie we said just go ahead an cancel that. We had our meal quickly and wasn't that worried about it. My BF ordered one their signature burger minus the special sauce with added bacon. Neither was done. I ordered a steak an baked potatoe. The steak should of been med rare. It was very very rare an I said it's cool I will eat it. I went to dress my baked potato found that it's was luke warm and hard it wasn't cooked thoroughly. I HATE sending good back for obvious reasons. But we decided we would have to. When we told the server ( we wasn't upset, we just wanted to eat our dinner) she went an got the manager, so we simply explained the situation to him. He was very nice as well. He took our plates to make things right. 30 minutes later we was served our dinners again. By then steak was cold. New potatoe was warmer but still literally crunchy. Boyfriend's burger came out with no sauce, still no bacon. We simply ate what we could and asked for the check. Made sure we wasn't charged for the missing appetizer and bacon. Like I said in the beginning I wasn't expecting a 4 star meal, but at least something we could at least eat an feel satisfied. The staff was really nice. read more
