Service is amazing and the food is always great. Pricing is reasonable and they are one of the few places that offer sake. Love this place.

I ordered off the menu (not the buffet) which really confused the cashier. She had no idea what #19 was and I had to show her on a printed menu. The #19 is cashew chicken (no mushrooms) with rice and an egg roll. It took about 10 minutes to get my food after I gave the waitress my ticket. Very hot and full of flavor. Lots of veggies in the chicken and rice - yea . It was hard to find a clean table to sit at. The decor in the dining room is very nice and elegant, and quiet. The parking lot was cleared off really considering all the snow we've had the past few days.

Let me start by saying I came in hungry and left confused, emotionally drained, and possibly…read morecursed. First off, the "All-You-Can-Eat" sign should come with an asterisk and a legal team. Technically, yes, you can eat all you want... if you're brave enough to survive the crab rangoon roulette. One bite was cream cheese. The next one? Suspiciously sweet. The third? I think it tried to fight back. The General Tso's chicken was neither general, nor chicken, nor food. It was more like a crunchy mystery coated in a sticky existential crisis. I asked the waiter what it was made of and he said, "Don't worry, it's cooked." That was not comforting. Sushi at a buffet is always a gamble, but this one felt like I was betting my will to live. I took one bite and immediately remembered every mistake I've ever made. Final straw? I opened my fortune cookie and it was empty. Like my soul. Like the parking lot. Like the promises of that buffet. Would I go back? No. Would I send my enemies there? Absolutely.

I happened to stop by Fire Bowl and saw that they now serve SPAM MUSUBI!! I then caught on that…read morethey now serve LOCO MOCO!!! Well heck, I am a healthy man with a strong appetite for delicious food. Why not order both? I can handle it. Out came the Spam Musubi. A block of rice topped with a fried egg (a buck extra... heck yeah) and a slice of fried Spam. All stacked beautifully together like Legos and hugged by a nori blanket. I take my first bite and oh my goose nest!!! The spam is covered in caramelized teriyaki sauce. I've probably eaten these a million times but this was new and pretty special. A small variation of flavor and texture from what I was expecting and it made it more enjoyable. So I killed the musubi and out comes my loco moco. The food covered every bit of real estate on the plate. I was caught off guard and feeling a bit overwhelmed. Surely I could finish my dish. My palms were sweaty. Knees weak, arms were heavy. Can I perform? Screw it. Just grab the fork and start. Cucumber salad. Start on the green stuff. Oh my goose nest! It's good. Cool and sweet. Refreshing. Taste the pasta salad. Yummy as well. Loco Coco time. A bed of rice topped with onions, burger patty, sunny side up eggs, and smothered in brown gravy. Oooooh. I love it. This dish brings back so many memories. Takes me to the Pacific Ocean. I grub down with island vibe music jamming in the background. My server checks in on me and treats me well. And then it happens. I'm super full. I'm only half done with my loco moco. Failure hits me hard. I have to tuck my tail and ask for a take out box and carry it through the restaurant with all the other patrons whispering, pointing, and snickering at my shortcoming. But wait. I'm dining alone and this isn't an eating contest. Well heck. Just like that... I feel great! So what if I couldn't finish my food. It was a massive portion! Try it for yourself if ya be so bold.
