Waitress Alexis was greater. She got me a small OJ because I was having a seriously low sugar episode. She and the older waitress keep checking on me until my sugar started rise. This place really does not deserve a star. Most of the tables were not clean but, there were two stations for rolling up forks and napkins. The host was upset because she said people would not sit where she told them to sit however, she wanted us to sit at a table that was not completely clean. None of the employees were in uniform except for two people not even the manager. The food was HORRIBLE!!!! Sweet tea that we ordered was unsweetened, the chips for the spinach dip were so awful we couldn't even chew them up, my sizzlin sirloin was well done when I asked for medium, the potatoes were awful, the brunch burger was just okay (it doesn't need the ketchup on it). We ordered 2 desserts and one came out before we were informed they were out of the other. Stopped in Saturday 19th of July, service was great and food hit the spot. Read the other reviews while sitting there and none of them applied to our visit. The AC was dripping condensation in many places and there was an odor like someone had tried cleaning it out. It's Xmas today so I wish I could be nice. But I can't. It started at the door as we waited and waited to be seated. Then as we were escorted to our table we passed several tables that weren't clean, eve though they weren't busy. Next I order soup and a wedge salad. After several mins the waitress returns and says no salads are avbl. My soup comes out next but the bowl is only half full. I had to ask it to be filled. Had it been busy I would have understood but instead the waitstaff seemed to be handing out in the kitchen! Our dirty dishes sat in front of us the entire time! If I could give this no stars I would. The food taste like TV dinners. The service is dumber then a box of rocks. The employees have no idea what's going on. The food takes 2 hours to be served and I don't know why when it taste like a frozen banquet meal. If you're eating healthy it taste like a smart choice frozen dinner. This is a Dry county which means they cannot sell alcohol! Prohibition still exist in the south. This city passed an ordinance legalizing it in the city and this is the first legitimate restaurant to come to town. I've been there twice. First thing you notice walking up to and entering is how immaculately clean it is. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it did not disappoint. The bun was already big but the burger was bigger and there were nice little bites to enjoy it before getting to the Burger. It was so juicy that you could feel it squirt all over your mouth as you bite into it. The fries were delicious. For $10 I really got more than what I paid for. The service was incredible. Our waitress came by at just the right intervals. The manager came by about two-thirds of the way through our dining experience. I highly highly recommend this place. read more

Bar tender can not make a Martini. Still insist on putting Dirty Martini Mix in it. So I'll never get a Absolute Martini Dry with an olive at this Applebees. Order a glass of water to go with Tomatoe Basil Soup. I ordered a Beer to go with the Beef Brisket tacos. Food was good. Server was not trained very well. Over all it was what I come to expect at an Applebees. Nothing remarkable. read more

This place actually deserves zero stars. The worst service my husband and I have ever had. We sat at the bar on a very slow night, got our drinks, and that was it. We wanted to order another drink and some apps but the bartender never bothered to check on us again. We sat for 30 minutes trying to get her attention so we could finally pay and leave. We are all prepared to hand her the menu after she took our order seated at the table with us, she walks off with no regard to all of us holding our menus out. An hour later still no appetizer and nobody's checked on us. Some young boy that didn't seem to work there? Asked if we needed anything, just needed our food. So I get up to pay for our drinks to which they couldn't find our order. Maybe was never put in? Anyway, either the carbon monoxide detector needs to be checked, these people have no care for their job or the people dinning in, or there's some good doobies out back. Don't bother - you place an order but don't get to eat! Two of us got our food but my daughter never got her dinner. Our server never explained - it felt like she was hiding from us. We only knew that there was a problem because we overheard another server tell someone they gave part of an order to the wrong table. We finished our meal and waited 20 minutes for the missing entree to be recooked. We finally just canceled the missing food and left with a hungry child. We had to wait yet another 10 minutes for the manager to figure out how to take the missing food off the ticket. Seriously? This is how NOT to run a restaurant!! Place is deserted, yet service is very slow. Ordered a large beer, had to send it back, because it was only half glass. Bartender argued that was the proper head on the beer I ordered. Everyone gives this Applebee's a bad rating. I agree about 6 months ago the service and food was terrible. They have gotten a new manager and the difference is like NIGHT AND DAY! I live in Senatobia and I eat here regularly. Their service and food is very very very good! It is amazing how much better they have gotten. I would recommend this restaurant to any of my closest friends or family. Now that is if your looking for your typical chain restaurant. So in the past if you have been here and had a terrible experience I encourage you to give it another shot because it has gotten soooo much BETTER! I really don't think you would be disappointed :) They also have awesome specials on almost every day of the week! read more

Filthy... Went here once and it was absolutely gross.... Tables covered with dirty dishes no one there just dirty dishes???? Covered with flies... The chips we got were stale and the cheese was still frozen on the inside. Why is this place still not shut down for health reasons is beyond me.
