In prior years, my riding mower was serviced directly on my property without issue. This season, the business insisted on picking it up, claiming it was "easier for them." They never disclosed any pickup or delivery fees upfront. After holding my mower for six weeks without doing a single bit of repair work, they demanded over $100 in undisclosed fees (later claiming it was due to "the price of diesel") just to return my equipment. During those six weeks, getting a return phone call was nearly impossible; the only time they communicated promptly was when they arrived at my home demanding money. To make matters worse, my riding mower was in working condition when they drove it onto their trailer. Six weeks later, it was returned in pieces, held together with electrical tape, completely non-functional, and pushed into my yard. When I questioned the situation and the unjustified $600 repair estimate, they actually suggested I sign over ownership of my mower to cover their surprise fees. Paying over $100 to have functioning property taken away for six weeks and returned destroyed is completely unacceptable. The entire experience felt manipulative and predatory. Save yourself the money, time, and headache. Get every fee and estimate in writing before letting this company touch your equipment--or better yet, take your business elsewhere
