Our wine tour was canceled a few days prior due to an illness. We received Kristy's name and number from a friend at the front desk of our timeshare. I reached out to inquire about a wine tour in the surrounding areas. She DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We had an AMAZING time visiting the surrounding towns. The view at the wineries was gorgeous, we went to some local breweries and did some shopping at an old mill warehouse filled with local food, drinks and gifts. 10 out of 10, I would definitely recommend. I have had a few friends visit there since I went and I shared her contact! She customized our tour based on our interests! Kristy will be my first call on my next visit for sure!

They advertise their pontoon can tow a 3 person towable - the prop on our boat was missing chunks out of it, the boat itself was beat up and we could barely tow a single rider tube. To make it worse the people who operate this are RUDE! We asked for ski vests and were given orange life vests which are not as safe as actual vests for tubing. I called after leaving the dock realizing they didn't give us vests and was told 'sorry you can't always be fancy' and was hung up on - it wasn't about appearance - it was about safety! They never met us at the dock for the return and fueling - I had to call three times and we waited 30 minutes for someone to even show up to check the boat back in. Super rude people who don't give a crap about customers or safety !

However to the the good. 50amp service, hugh spots and nice layouts with asphalt pants (not level though), gravel picnic area, lots of grass area, and walking trails. RV sewer hookup is at rear of pad so extra hose is needed, maybe extra water hose also. I guess I should say all hookups aren't the end of the pads. Some are sloped so that your sewer hose is running uphill so having to use two hoses you need to build that grade. But enjoying it.

I do want to say that I don't think it is appropriate to have political flags and propaganda in a county park regardless of political stance. The host had a couple of political flags on the house in the campground and may want to rethink this since this is a county park.

The road noise is noticeable but not oppressively loud. I did hear the train whistle a couple of times a day (and night). It wasn't so loud that I heard it while inside the trailer with AC running. If you don't use sites 31-40 I imagine the road noise is much reduced. The park is clean and well kept. There is river access to cool off in hot temps. The restrooms were also very clean and well maintained. I was impressed with the condition of the park. The staff seemed friendly. I didn't encounter the noisy person one other reviewer mentioned. The park is minutes from Wenatchee, a little further to Leavenworth and about an hour from Chelan. Full hookups, free wi-fi, a camp store sells the normal campground supplies (ice, ice cream, firewood, etc). VERY EASY campsites to back into, and several pull-through spots, too. Lots of room for your site - the layout makes it feel very open. Good shade in our spot, and that was good because it was very hot during our stay. They can't do anything about the road noise. We enjoyed our visit. I would seek out other options for a second visit to Wenatchee, but I wouldn't completely avoid this place if other options weren't available.

Mike did a great job plowing the road so often that the roads stayed safe to go into town the next day even after a foot of snowfall overnight! It was the most epically relaxing way to spend an afternoon in mid August. Tom Potter hooked us up with paddleboards, life preservers, and the best picnic lunch ever. He gave us some lessons on paddle boarding and sent us off. Two hours (plenty of time!) later he picked us up at a pre-designated location. He picked us up in his truck, which the inside will blow you away... It's outfitted like a limousine inside. If you have an afternoon to spend in or around Leavenworth, this is the best bang for your buck.

It felt like I was stepping into my grandparents basement which was somehow a sweet feeling. It has things to do in there, however also a whole whole lot of random things mixed in that are dusty which makes it feel like a storage basement or attic. The hard parts: The camp ground sold to us online was VERY different than what we received. See pictures attached. The listing shows a picture of T6 with trees and privacy. Upon arrival we notice a completely open space with what appeared to be a hoarder living behind us. There was no separation between sites so we moved the picnic tables, because otherwise our kids would be surrounded by that persons junk. This was very disappointing. We felt that this person should be required to not camp or "live like this" in such a space. Otherwise if allowed, than at least close that camp site as it looks, "ick." There was also a community port a potty 15 feet from where we slept. While convenient... not many want that downbreeze smell. The freeway is extemely loud which to me felt like white noise, but it drove my husband crazy. This was a very sweet family feel campground, however due to the misleading of what we were getting as a camp site, camping next to a hoarder / what felt like a condemned home and sleeping within feet of an outhouse... this will be a last option camp site.

Well...when we first arrived and saw trailers in a big open field, we thought CRAP this sucks…read more.. But once we traveled farther, the campground itself was actually quite beautiful. Lots of trees with the sun shining through and birds chirping pleasantly in the morning. Now the negative :( We requested two sites next to each other so we could be side by side and set up our tables and chairs and enjoy a full circle. Ha! We got two sites bumper to bumper. Not only that, but we had to pull in with our doors facing AWAY from our campsite, so no room to open our awning, set up chairs and enjoy our outside lights in the evening. Not only THAT, but there was only ONE covered area for both sites. Now picture this...what if you were put there with people you don't know??? The front trailer has the covered area, the back spot has...NOTHING. And lastly. The site was totally at a slope going DOWN to the covered area. Tough for old folks (we aren't that old, so we were okay. Lol!) Just word to the wise, ask lots of questions about your site when booking.
