My daughter and I visited Leavenworth, WA in early February 2024. We had so many things we wanted to do, but didn't want to drive, so we went through Valley Ventures Northwest for two of our days there. From the days leading up to our trip, Kristy, the owner of the company, was so easy to work with. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and provided us with various fun ideas on what we could do / places to visit. Being from Hawai'i, one of the main things we wanted to see was snow. Unfortunately, it turned out to be an unusually warm winter season for Leavenworth, with little to no snowfall from late January throughout our stay. Kristy was so patient and accommodating, working with us as we made last-minute changes to try to ensure we got to see snow. We utilized her services on two days. On our first day, we used her shuttle service for roundtrip transportation from our hotel to Mission Ridge in Wenatchee for snowboarding lessons. On our second day, we did a mini venture (1/2 day tour). We started off with snowmobiling with Leavenworth Snowmobile Tours at Mountain Springs, then headed to Icicle Outfitters for a sleigh ride, followed by a stop at the famous Alps Fudge / Candy store, then ended at the Leavenworth Adventure Park for two rides on the Alpine Coaster. On both of our days with Kristy, she was friendly, on time, her car was very clean (I'm extremely picky on cleanliness), she talked story with us during the drives -- giving us information on the areas we were driving through, and went above and beyond for us (providing courtesy texts, making last minute stops for us to get food, playing our choice of music, and providing us with water and a snack). She made everything so easy for us, making sure we had a memorable experience and were able to do everything on our checklist -- which was A LOT, especially when factoring in driving time, appointment availability, and activity duration. We are so thankful to Kristy for making everything possible for us. We plan on visiting again and will definitely be reaching out to her! read more

Traveling with a group of six, including both adults and kids, while having specific expectations, can be overwhelming for any tour guide. However, Valley Ventures exceeded our expectations, and Kristy was truly a godsend! We had just one day in Leavenworth and wanted to see and do everything, and thanks to Kristy and Valley Ventures, it all became possible. I reached out to Valley Ventures the day before our excursion, and luckily, they had a slot available for the next day. Not only were they accommodating, but Kristy went the extra mile by calling us after hours to finalize plans, alleviating my anxiety and ensuring an exciting experience for three adventurous little girls. Valley Ventures with Ms. Kristy was truly an unforgettable experience. I felt like I was traveling with a family member. She took our group to the reindeer farm , sledding at Squilchuck park , restaurants in Leavenworth , the alps candy store and had hot chocolate waiting for us after playing in the snow! Ms. Kristy helped my daughter and her friends build their first snowman ( a snowman she will never forget lol! ) and was so incredibly patient and kind when we asked to stop and take a bunch of pictures along the way. We traveled in a group of 6 and she was accommodating , kind and genuinely the best tour guide I've ever had. She made our trip really special. Great girls weekend! Fun intimate experience for smaller group. Kristy our guide planned a full day of wine tours, antique shopping, and great local food! The wineries were welcoming and wait staff engaging. Kristy shared history and landmarks of the area. Selected our wineries that were perfectly paired for our day out. If you're looking for a girls weekend/getaway I highly recommend including Valley Ventures as part of your trip if you are in the Leavenworth/Wenatchee area.
