This agency is a complete waste of time ! Not once have they called to offer any opportunities even when I lowered my hourly rate to basically minimum wage. No communication from the staff whatsoever. They did however do a thorough reference check with my references and riddled them with questions which did absolutely nothing in return in finding me a job! You should call our references when you actually have a job in line verses interrupting their busy day with your nonsense! Pride Staff in Irvine is an exceptional staffing agency that had an interview for me the next day . That is a professional agency, Apple One in Corona is a complete joke . DO NOT recommend. It is extremely difficult for many professionals to find employment that is a good fit which aligns with the candidates skills and a company's needs. When I became available in the job market and needed help with placement, I did what every other professional would probably do and uploaded my resume on Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Monster and countless other online placement centers. At the same time, I walked into my local AppleOne branch in Corona to submit my resume to find temporary employment until I can find my next career move. I was introduced to Rachel Guerreo, who took the time to sit down with me and understand my background, skills, and employment goals. She took the time to go over my resume and suggest a few revisions that really made my resume stand out to potential employers. I went through the process of filling out the normal employment paperwork in the system and she gave me a few Kenexa exams to complete and was very patient with me. On the 13th of December, I happen to fracture my R foot on an assignment at Cardenas Corporate in Ontario. So it happens to be that Maira Gonzalez Contreras was my recruiter and she is the worst human being on earth. Apple One is horrible. Due to the fact that Maira, Ashley, Raquel, and Jacqueline worked very diligently to discourage me in a very harassing and bullying methods to get me to quit in order to drop my ongoing workers comp case. Let me remind you I'm wearing a boot for my right foot fracture. Dr's recommendations are that I'm not to remove it. Except when I take a shower. Maira and the unmentionables have no sympathy for anyone but themselves. I have sought legal council. Lastly, I don't recommend Apple One. I know of a person who they caused a stroke to. read more

Terrible, stay away!!!! This particular office and the management of this office deserves negative stars. Where to start, no customer service to the "talent" as they call you. If you are looking for work you are only a product for their customers. They don't put you first and they certainly don't have your best interest in mind. I was considered an "A candidate" (a label they use) a candidate whom was highly marketable and skilled, they constantly pushed low paying jobs for the sake of their checks. They mark up your salary as a worker 30%-50% which is how they generate revenue (so you won't make what you deserve). And they just want to keep filling the slots that come up. This particular branch involved me in a HUGE conflict of interest with the manager and her husband that cost me a job of 5 years. At least they will make me money from the lawsuit... read more

I made a huge mistake using Apple One and accepting an assignment. Ashley Pearson and Laura do not respect or care about your time. They will make you wait until they are good and ready. I took an assignment, and decided it was not for me, and they retaliated. Seems like they just want to place you anywhere and get their percentage. I found success with Dawson & dawson, and worked with Kris Barry. He "LISTENED" to my needs, followed up, returned phone calls, and connected me with a great company. The first assignment I had called apple one and asked to hire me on and my rep told them I was moving onto another assignment and wasn't available. The whole point of an agency is to get hired on and she ruined it for me. She didn't tell me until a month later and when I tried to contact the company directly they had already hired someone else for the position. Then at my last assignment maira was extremely rude and I gave her a taste of her own medicine which she didn't like so she pulled me from my assignment and lied saying the company I was at didn't want to work with me anymore and hired someone else. I would strongly recommend that if you are seeking employment and have the opportunity to attend a work shop that Apple One offers to take it because you learn and refresh on tips to be successful. The staff takes the time to explain different scenarios and even answers questions because they want us to succeed. I attended a work shop today and learned many helpful things that I did not even think of (i.e. giving your interviewer a thank you note, being aware of how you are perceived at first glance, etc) and even though you maybe thinking I know this information. I used this location once before and had a good experience. Was placed right away and got hired within 3 months. This time I got placed right away and was told the assignment was for "order desk" and was temp to hire. It was data entry and you might be lucky to be hired after a year. But my complaint is not about the job. It's about their policies and how they handle things. I was accused of bullying with no proof. Even when confronted by management and sat with the person who made the accusations my accuser couldn't come up with one instantance where I bullied them. The examples were of things that other people did. Nothing about me. I was let go from the assignment at the clients request. But then AppleOne tells me I am still in good standing with them. I come from this world and that means we won't work with you. I asked did they speak to any other temps to find out the truth. No. I submitted my time which was for 1 day on the day I got let go and it was approved 20 minutes later. Just to be told that next week I wasn't getting paid on time because I didn't submit my time. Then it was, oh it wasn't approved. I called corporate to complain and was told well what do you want me to do. Why would they not pay you? Are you sure you submitted it and it was approved? As for the accusations, "Why would the other person lie?" Which means she's saying I'm lying. I have no recourse against the person but I did get my pay, on a card, after I made a stink about it. This is why turnover in staffing is so high. Stop worrying about numbers and worry about the people and your numbers will go up. In a year there will be a whole new staff at appleone. read more
