I'm extremely disappointed by the disconnect between the values Kunes Automotive Group promotes and…read morethe way employees can actually be treated. Kunes talks about caring for families, valuing its employees, and supporting their well-being. Those values are difficult to reconcile with decisions that result in drastic pay reductions for long-term, hardworking employees who have dedicated significant time and effort to the organization. A reduction of approximately 40% in someone's compensation isn't a minor business adjustment. That kind of decision can have a major impact on an employee and their family, particularly when that employee has worked hard, taken on significant responsibilities, and remained committed to the company. Companies certainly have the right to restructure and make difficult business decisions. But how those decisions are communicated and how loyal employees are treated in the process says a great deal about an organization's culture. If a company chooses to publicly emphasize family, employee well-being, and caring for its people, employees should be able to expect those values to show up when difficult decisions are made--not just when they are convenient. Unfortunately, our experience has left us questioning whether the values Kunes (and Mike Coyle) promotes publicly are truly reflected in how employees are treated behind the scenes.

This is our third time Bayside Outdoors has been there for us when we were in dire need of immediate service on our 38' motor home. Ted serviced our Aqua Hot in 2018 when it would not function, replaced our transfer switch/surge protector and yesterday replaced our Inverter that was fried due to bad electricity at a campground. Very special attitude to help the customer with everybody employed here and it is an employee owned company. Highly recommend for service and sales. They specialize in the sale of small travel trailers, truck campers, small outboards and pontoon boats. We travel 10-12,000 miles 6 months of the summer so having our motor home totally functional is top priority and Bayside Outdoors keeps us that way when we are in Door County. Linda and I thank all of Bayside Outdoor employees for all you do. Mike Lodge

We purchased a 2023 Jayco Pinnacle from Kunes RV of Green Bay Wisconsin in April 2026. Included in…read morethe purchase price was a $2500 charge to inspect and clean the camper. That's a joke. We had our walk through before closing and the maintenance guy pointed out a few things that he recommended we request get fixed, which included the stairs having a broken bracket, the flip up butcher block at the end of the island wouldn't pull up and the remote for the stereo didn't work even with new batteries. We mentioned them at closing and we signed a document that stated they "owed us" the items be corrected. When we did the walk through, I guess we should have pulled all the black and grey water valves open, to be sure they were functioning, but it never occurred to us that they wouldn't be. As well, we never opened the door on the convection/microwave to check the inside, it looked new on the outside. We stayed in the camper for the first time about a after closing only to find that one of the grey water valves was rusted shut! The second grey water valve didn't close all the way. One of the black water valves also didn't close all the way. We opened the microwave to use it to discover the inside was covered in rust! We have tried to clean it but it doesn't come off and we will now have to replace the microwave. We contacted Kunes about the valves but when they came to the camper to install the new stairs because the others were broken, all they did was tell us to use a product in the tank which is meant to dissolve solids and manage smells. When we were trying to contact Kunes after our first trip, it was weeks and weeks of calling and leaving messages and getting no response. We spent $61K on this "top of the line" camper. It is a beautiful camper, but these things that were not dealt with are major. What the heck was the $2500 for? We would NEVER do business with Kunes ever again.

At the spring RV show in Milwaukee, we had a positive, no pressure visit while checking out what they had taken to the show. A few weeks ago, we stopped at the Fondy location, met Dean and got a tour of several units. We are pretty well versed in options etc. having spent so many years looking but Dean was super knowledgeable. And when we were done, he simply thanked us for our time and assured us if we had any question all we need do was reach out. Early the next week I went back to look more closely at a particular camper, Dean had it powered up so that I could check out all the operating systems. Again, his knowledge was on display as he showed me around and answered my questions. Being a used unit, I found some blemishes and he assured me if we were to purchase it, it would all be taken care of. Again, no pressure, no "Let's write you up", he just said "Call me if you have any more questions or you want to proceed". The next day I reached out to Dean, started the process for financing. I provided he and Justin with how much we would be putting down, what we thought an acceptable interest rate would be and the term we were after. He asked about max payment, we told them and then later in the day I got a call, all set, and not only did they not ask for an extra penny down, the exceeded our interest rate expectation AND kept our payment way below what we stated as our max. True to his word, all the concerns and blemishes I had pointed out in the camper had been completely corrected, Tony who gave us our walk through at delivery was patient and knowledgeable. Justin made the paperwork quick, easy to understand and seamless, and we were on our way. This place is truly run as a family business, you are not a customer or a sale, you are a welcome friend. Never have we been treated with such care by such accommodating and patient people while making a major purchase. If you are in the market for an RV of any kind or just exploring the possibility of entering the RV life, start here! I would be surprised if you didn't end here even after looking around at other dealerships. The team at Schieks RV is a true Wisconsin gem!!

While stepping between units , there was a big patch of ice covered with snow, and I fell HARD on my left side, bruising my left leg from waist to knee, and jamming my left shoulder trying to break the fall. Austin attempted to help me up using one hand, was unsuccessful and I fell again. I think that there should have been ice melt or sand on the patch of ice. An accident report was requested, and as of today 04Jan2026 I have not received a copy of the report, however I did receive an email from Austin wanting to show me more available units. No "sorry about the fall" just sales talk.. It concerns me that such a heartless communication would foster me wanting to utilize Kunes for a purchase. I am disturbed that they contacted myself about sales, yet never mentioned my injuries I'm still waiting for a copy of my accident report. Extremely Disappointing Experience - Buyer Beware…read more We've been avid campers for over 30 years, and this was not our first camper purchase--so we came into this process well-informed and excited to upgrade. Unfortunately, our experience with Kunes was nothing short of disappointing. We initially spent two hours on a Monday evening browsing their inventory and scheduled to return Tuesday night to view more options. On Tuesday, we sat down with a salesman, negotiated what we thought was a final number (with our trade-in valued at $24,000--which aligns with JD Power's $20,000-$25,000 estimate), and left believing we'd return Thursday to finalize everything. Thursday arrived and we were genuinely excited. The staff welcomed us warmly, we completed a full walk-through of our new camper, and learned how to operate everything. However, just before signing the final paperwork, the manager approached us with "an issue" regarding our trade-in: a 4"x4" soft spot on the floor on both slide outs--assumed same damage under the fridge, Teagan did NOT remove the fridge to look, just used a flashlight. We were told this would require a full floor replacement at a whopping $12,000--due to possible water intrusion from screws or caulking. My husband immediately said the deal was off. Then, in the very next breath, the manager asked, "Well, would $8,000 work for you?" Just like that, $4,000 came off the "repair estimate". That raised serious red flags--how inflated was that repair cost to begin with? Meanwhile, we returned to the showroom only to be congratulated by the staff on our "purchase" while we informed them there was no sale happening. In the end, we hooked up our 2017 Bighorn and took off on our trip--grateful we didn't fall for a questionable deal. Thanks for the no-sale, Kunes. You saved us money and reminded us why we loved our current camper in the first place.
