She made us feel safe and comfortable from the very beginning, and gave clear instructions so we always knew what to do. She tailored our ride to how "spicy" we wanted to make it, so since it was our first time rafting, that made us feel great. The trip was the perfect level of excitement for us as beginners. It was fun, thrilling, and adventurous without ever feeling overwhelming. My sons, ages 10 and 13, had an absolute blast and want to plan another trip back. We even got to see a bald eagle along the river, it was phenomenal. The weather was perfect, and the whole experience was incredibly well organized. It's also just under two hours from Denver, making it a great day trip. We really appreciated the free parking, and they kept our car keys safely in the office while we were out on the river. We felt completely comfortable leaving everything else locked in our car. We couldn't have asked for a better first rafting experience. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone, especially families and first-time rafters. Definitely opt for the photo package too - the pictures we received were stunning and memorable. She's out there in the dead of cold to care for a clients sick horse or breaking waters that have frozen. She maintains all the rings multiple times per week. During the recent barn break-ins she offered solutions for parking to keep the clients safe. If you need extra food for your horse, she has your back. My horses have never looked better and are very happy. The board is quite affordable and the amenities are huge. I've paid more at other barns and had to use portable bathrooms. The kitchen is not only heated but has a real bathroom. It makes me sad when trainers who come there to build their business end up being untruthful and don't pay their bills. It's not ok for the clients of those trainers to then leave very rude reviews. There are plenty of clients there that have been residents for MANY years and they are loyal to this barn including two large animal vets that spend so much of their time at the barn attending to the resident horses! If you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy quality time with your horse, or to have your horse in training with one of the trainers at the facility, have open space to retire an old friend, or have a box stall with a run (with self care options) this is your place and if Emily isn't available to personally give you a tour then she will find one of the friendly staff members to fill in.

Confluence Park encompasses the point where Cherry Creek flows into the South Platte River. This is…read morealso the spot where Denver was founded in May 1858. Beginning a city here proved to be a poor choice as the waterways were prone to periodic flooding. The City shifted to the northeast and this area was ignored and filled up with heavy industrial users. A huge flood in 1965 destroyed much of that infrastructure and provided an opportunity for redevelopment. The Greenway Foundation was a prime mover in the 1970s to create a park highlighting this area. A major update in the 1990s focused on floodplain management and further enhanced the park as a hub for the regional trail system. Today this is a highlight of Lower Downtown. Shoemaker Plaza begins at the REI building and extends down to the north edge of the South Platte River. The main park area begins at the south edge of the River and covers both sides of Cherry Creek. The trail system runs through this and continues north, south, and east. This is a beautiful space and exists in its own world, apart from the bustle of Lower Downtown. It is well worth a visit.

My group and I had a disappointing and confusing experience with a zip-line instructor. We had…read morebarely left the first tutorial line when one of our instructors began acting rude and short with us. We only made it halfway through our group before one of us got stuck on the second line. It took a few minutes to get them unstuck and over to the other side. After that, with no warning, the instructor told us to follow him and said we were going to hike back to the rest of the group. When I asked if something was wrong, he gave me no response. Once we rejoined the other half of our group, our other guide explained that our trip was being cancelled and that we'd need to hike back down. This was shocking and disappointing to all of us--especially the children in our party, who had travelled from out of state and specifically picked this zip-line as the thing they most wanted to do in Colorado. It wasn't worth the long drive just to get up there and have the plug pulled on us with no explanation. I will say the front desk was very kind and helpful. After hearing our account of what happened, they issued us a full refund. Overall, it was a disappointing trip that left all of us confused about what went wrong.

It was 3 of us, including my 8-year-old son, and the conditions couldn't have been better--just a little snow, some mud, and plenty of opportunities for big splashes (which my son absolutely loved). We did a 5-hour rental, which felt like the perfect amount of time to explore without feeling rushed. The equipment was in great shape, and even the truck used to haul the ATV and trailer to the trailhead was well-maintained--everything felt professional and dialed in. The team really made the experience stand out. Everyone we interacted with was fantastic, and Andrew in particular was a superstar--he handled both checkout and check-in, made everything easy, and clearly cares about making sure customers have a great time. We'll definitely be back, especially to experience the trails in full snow. Highly recommend all around.

Kate sits in the office all day on her phone, Tyco takes up all the space in the back gym w no consideration of the other members who also want to use that space. There's no member engagement, smiling faces, consideration for others use of the equipment. I had a great experience with Derek who showed me how to use & interpret the results from the in body scan. He has helpful, friendly & had a great attitude. It's a shame how much turn over & the quality has gone downhill. The pool is always closed, the e gym takes up so much space in an already small gym. Cardio equipment is always down.

This summer camp has gone way down hill and unfortunately the management of the childcare program…read moredoesn't seem to care. The managers are not on site, and rarely, if ever, visited the location last summer. We have gone to camp here for four consecutive summers. Previously the summer camp was AMAZING. Under the care of Ms Isabel, who unfortunately left in June of 2024, the camp was well run, the campers and staff all seemed happy, and for kids like my son who have more difficulty in social settings, they did a great job with accommodations. We recruited all of our friends to join us at the camp, and things rapidly fell apart. Fast forward to Summer of 2024 after Isabel left, the camp was a disaster. I was able to leave with my kids without telling anyone, they rarely had the sign out system that worked so no one knew who was able to pick up the kids anyway. Our friends pulled their kids from camp after severe bullying and our kids were out in 100+ degree heat for hours several days a week having unorganized time. Just recently, as we were trying to make a pivot for out of school days to another option, my son was "lost" for an hour before anyone realized he wasn't in his group. He was sent home for going inside because his counselor couldn't find him. When I was called they told me he wandered outside but in reality he went inside and sat by the managers office for an hour before anyone approached him. The next day he was forced to play a game (he's autistic and noise is an issue for him and we have accommodations in place for this sort of thing) or told that he would have to be picked up by me. He was hit from behind and hit the floor, ultimately breaking his front two teeth. When I was called, the counselor made it seem like no big deal and told me he "may have chipped a tooth" which in actuality resulted in emergency dental surgery. Long story short, this will cost us thousands of dollars, and I can't even get an email back from the YMCA to see what next steps are, or to cancel my membership. Other friends have been tempted to call CPS due to the lack of regard these young counselors have for the kids. They may be affordable for camp, but with the sign up just around the corner, I needed to say my piece. I don't feel safe with my kids at this location and can't imagine they will get it together in time for summer with the amount of competent adults they have lost over the years.
