Our stay was amazing from beginning to end! The moment we walked in we were impressed with the beautiful entrance and although there was a long line with only one woman helping everyone, she was happy to help us once it was our turn. I was here for a conference and the ballroom they kept us in was beautiful and the bartenders were friendly. The situation that truly made this hotel shine was a unique one. On my last night there, my colleagues and I were walking back from a bar around the corner. We are not familiar with the frozen bodies of water and decided to play with the ice on the pond in front of the hotel. After a few moments of tossing pieces of ice across the pond, one of my rings that is very sentimental to me flew off my finger and across the frozen pond. I was heartbroken and everyone told me there was nothing I could do and that it was a lost cause. The following morning, I told the front desk the situation. They told me they would call maintenance and see if there was anything they could do for me. That's when Rick came out to assess the situation. He was SO kind and understanding as he tried to come up with a solution. When he realized how far out the ring was, he decided to get one of the hotel engineers, Omar, involved. He came out and was every but as kind and pleasant as Rick had been. I had breakfast reservations I was cutting it close to and they told me to go ahead and go enjoy myself while I let them figure the situation out. Once I arrived back to the hotel, the same kind girl that checked me into the hotel was holding my ring beaming at me in excitement. I couldn't believe it!! I still don't know how they did it, but they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me with a situation that had nothing to do with the hotel and they could have easily given up on. I am eternally grateful and will always stay here when in the area!!! read more

As someone who travels every week for business, I have stayed at many Marriott properties over the years, including this one in the past. Unfortunately, this experience was so disappointing that I will never stay here again, and I will be recommending that my company's travel team in Louisville remove this property from our preferred hotel list. The problems began at dinner. I was meeting with two male coworkers, and the restaurant was unbearably hot. It was so uncomfortable that we left before finishing our meal. Both of my coworkers had sweat literally rolling down their faces. It was impossible to enjoy the meal or conduct a business dinner in those conditions. Check-in was equally frustrating. I had checked in online and requested a mobile key. When I arrived, Mark at the front desk manager told me I had nit checked in. He also told me he could not charge my stay to the credit card saved in my Marriott Bonvoy profile. I use that card for my Marriott stays all the time. Rather than trying to find a solution, he repeatedly told me what he was "not authorized" to do. The worst part came when I entered my room. It felt like a sauna. Although the thermostat was set to 64 degrees, the actual room temperature was 88 degrees. To make matters worse, the room phone was not charged, so I had to call the front desk from my cell phone. When I explained the situation, Mark told me the hotel was completely sold out and that, because of the extreme outdoor temperatures, the air conditioning was not working properly. I asked if he could recommend another nearby hotel with availability. His answer was simply, "No." There was no apology, no empathy, no attempt to find a solution, and no effort to make the situation right. Equipment failures can happen, especially during periods of extreme heat. What should never happen is a complete lack of customer service. A sincere apology, an effort to assist in finding alternative accommodations, or even a gesture acknowledging the inconvenience would have made a significant difference. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had as a frequent business traveler, and I cannot recommend this property to anyone. @marriott @titanium @westin @westinwestminster By the way the 2 rooms across from me are cool and the guests had no problems with the air! We are long‑time Marriott Rewards members, and my husband paid for both stays using his Marriott credit card (just to show we are Marriott loyal). What we experienced was far below Marriott standards and caused significant disruption to both our vacation and my husband's work conference. Our stay at the Westin Westminster (June 7-12): The issues at this property were extensive and ongoing. Housekeeping repeatedly failed to properly clean our room, make the beds, or provide enough towels. The shower handle was broken for our entire stay despite being reported, and the toilet was malfunctioning from the beginning. On June 9, the toilet overflowed and flooded the bathroom and carpet. The room phone did not work, forcing me to navigate multiple automated prompts on my cell phone just to reach the front desk. Even after I clearly stated it was an emergency, it took approximately 30 minutes for anyone to respond. The staff member who arrived how many language barrier and could not communicate with me. He used Google translate, but I still do not think it helped. He did not clean the flooded area, and the toilet was never properly repaired. We had to use our bathroom towels to clean the water, and those towels were never replaced.  After multiple complaints, we were moved to another room, but the second room also had serious issues. The shower and sink did not drain, housekeeping remained inconsistent, and the room lacked amenities included in the first room despite being the same room type. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the indoor pool, which was unusable for our entire stay. The water was extremely cold, and we were later told that the hotel turns off the pool heater and filter during the week because "there aren't many children at the hotel." When the heater was turned back on, the pool was full of sand and debris due to the filter being shut off. As a result, our children were unable to swim for six days, and we had to spend additional money to entertain them. We later learned that multiple conference attendees experienced similar issues, including room changes and housekeeping failures. This indicates a systemic problem at this property. The only gesture we received was a small fruit bowl and a few chocolates, an inadequate response considering the severity of the issues and the disruption to our stay. I did receive a message from the hotel after our stay letting me know that they did listen to my suggestions about the pool being cold and increase the temperature to 82°, but that does nothing for our experience. I wish I had taken more photos of the grossness to share so people avoid this place. read more

Three stars because the property is in a great part of Westminster where you can walk to a lot of entertainment and restaurants. Our room view was also very nice. Otherwise this property is not taken care of at all. Lots of mold smell everywhere even in downstairs bathrooms. There is a mold smell that lingers especially in the room because the bathtub in room 413 has a constant leak. Also no fan in the bathroom. They tried to paint the grout and caulk over it bit it's still there. We went to del Frisco's one night and brought leftovers and they were completely spoiled overnight. The fridge in the room was not cold enough. The manager did give us a $45 gift card to the spotted donkey downstairs (which was really nice) but we still had to pay a little out of pocket for all 3 of us to have a breakfast meal. (Spotted donkey was really spicy and Mexican food) Reminder this is not Housekeepings fault. This is owner operator improvements that need to happen. There is no fan in the bathroom and the room temperature has a hard time getting warm and the fan on it is super loud. Please hire a mold specialist and renovate the rooms. We love the area and the hotel is beautiful do not let it get run down. This is not staff fault this is owner's fault. read more

I wish I could give our stay a 5 out of 5 because it's so beautiful but unfortunately we kept running into problems everyday of our stay. For the pros check in was good but after that it seemed like everything seemed to go down hill. Now the Cons: Our first day we were woken up at 7am by the sound of knocking on the door even though we had do not disturb on the door. We were apart of a bridal group so we figured it could be one of our family members but we hadn't told them our room number yet so we were kind of confused. When my husband checked it was housekeeping wondering if we wanted our room cleaned. I have never experienced that when I had do not disturb on the door that housekeeping knocked especially if we hadn't requested anything. This happened every single day of our stay and ruined our sleep in. We reported it to the staff and it still continued. That was the worst to be woken up early everyday while on vacation. Also when we had our room cleaned we didn't get the full restocking of everything so we had to keep calling down to ask for clean towels. None of the ice machines worked on any of the floors and when we asked for ice it took them over an hour and once they arrived they brought us 3 ice buckets that were completely empty. We asked why they brought this and they said we requested ice buckets. We stated we needed ice for the ice bucket which then took another hour for them to bring to our room. The hotel is really nice but there was just way too many snags to make this an enjoyable vacation. Next time we will make other accommodations for our stay. read more

This is the worst Westin I've ever visited. No one to assist at the front door, only paid outside parking which was about 1/2 mile away, front desk was nervous and inexperienced, and the room was filthy - see photos of bathroom. Toilet was horrible. We moved to another room but no one ever cleaned it while we were there. Air conditioner didn't work at night. The pool is small and indoors and there is no outdoor lounge area. Bartender told us to go someplace else because he was closing in 30 minutes. Four flashing police cars were at the front door arresting someone when we were leaving. read more

We usually stay in downtown Denver at the grand Hyatt.. this hotel WESTIN has no valet parking, the maid said no to cleaning our room, the shower door kept sliding shut, the shower has a very weak water pressure, you cannot call to housekeeping from your phone in the room. Stayed here for business first week of May. My company booked and paid for my room. When I checked in I provided my personal credit card for incidentals. I noticed recently a charge for $159 so I called the hotel to ask about the charge as I didn't make any purchases except for the $13 Internet, which is kind of ridiculous but whatever. After speaking with the front desk last week, they said that my reservation was canceled and I was charged for the stay, but my company was also charged for the reservation so I don't know how I could have a reservation that got cancelled and then I was charged without prior warning. When I called last week the front desk transferred me to accounting department. where the person works remote so I left a voicemail with no call back. I called yesterday and asked for a manager and was transferred to another voicemail. Left a message and have not been called back. I just don't see how complicated this has to be or why I can't get this resolved after explaining it to two front desk, people and being transferred to upper management with no callbacks so I will continue to try and make sure I don't stay here again. To add, they also did it to my coworker who stayed in another room that night as well so there's two people now that are out of over $300 for no reason. read more

We have stayed here many times but now they will not allow you to park across the street overnight for free. You now have to pay $15 for 24 hours but not across the street but way behind the hotel. I don't mind paying but I do mind that I have to park so far & there is no way in-you have to walk all the way back to the front. I know it is good exercise but it's hard for seniors or the disabled that are by themselves. It is especially bad to walk back around the hotel after dark & who knows if someone could attack you or rob you or who knows what else?? There are a lot of crazy people out there. The hotel better do something before someone gets hurt & they will sue them! With the extra $ they will make for parking, they should hire security to help keep it safe or put in some locks near the parking lot that you can use your room key to open. Unfortunately, we will not be staying here again and am sad because it is such a nice hotel. read more

So let me start by saying this was a quick trip to Denver for a company function. Arrived Saturday late morning, went to the party, then left Sunday early morning. So the only function of this hotel was a good nights sleep on a turn around trip. So the hotel was nice and seemed pretty clean. The view was cool and there was a tv had we wanted to watch. So you would think this place would serve its purpose. Problem was, it was Denver in December, they had the thermostat programmed to only go up to 70 degrees, then to make up for the cold, they piled several layers of sheets and blankets on the bed. It was a weird dynamic because even with all the blankets (smothering BTW) it was still cold when you got up to use the facilities OR in the very early morning to take a quick shower. In addition, they had done this weird thing with the sheets where they were almost sewed together but they were twisted up so bad that my girl and I couldn't even sleep up against each other in an attempt to battle the cold! It was very strange. In addition, the bed seemed to sag and slant towards the head so that was annoying as well. Like I said, it was only for the purpose of a good nights sleep, and even though it was nice, I struggled to get any sleep because of the bed and the bedding situation. We booked here because we stSyed there before and it was lovely. We are near a wildfire burning and needed respite from smoke and stress. We got the opposite at this hotel. The lobby and elevators are under construction. It was loud and messy. Room access is service elevators thru the construction , down a hallway with no air. Elevators are rickety and dirty, how you would expect them to be. Internet that you have to pay for was not working. It was the 4 of July so they said they didn't know if they would get it fixed. With the exception of the first desk clerk who checked us in, employees were indifferent at best but definitely did not appear to care. I was very disappointed in the whole experience. We could've stayed at a budget hotel for a fraction of the cost and had a better experience. Would NOT recommend. I've never left a hotel review before but this experience ImpactEd me enough to make the effort. read more

This hotel had a decent sized gym with more equipment the most so that's why I picked this hotel. I was here for 5 nights and everything was good. The only thing I didn't like was there parking situation which was if you didn't park your vehicle by 2-3pm then you're parking by the convention center which made your walk waay longer than it had to be. Other than that, my room was on the 10th floor and I had a nice view. When I come back in December I might stay here again due to the gym but hopefully the parking gets better. read more

They charge you $10 a night to park, but there are only cameras in part of the lot. There were multiple car break ins on multiple nights. One family had their car broken into on two separate nights. The front desk never mentioned it to residents. They never put a security guard in the lot. They did nothing to help prevent the break ins. Oh, and they never replaced the coffee packs in our room. The (west-facing) view of the room was fantastic! The bed was incredibly soft, the room was clean, and the customer service from the front desk was excellent. However, that's about it. The roof of the room (1201) had strange marks and stains on it. The window looking out of the room was covered in bird feces. It's a $15 charge for parking, (per day). A $16.99 charge for wifi, (per day). There's no room service or complimentary breakfast. And overall, the whole hotel needs an exorbitant amount of renovations. This is a 4 star hotel, and the flagship Marriott for the Westminster/Boulder division. And yet, for almost $200 a night, it's most definitely a disappointed. read more

Have always loved the Westin. Friendly front desk person. Beds are awesome and comfy. However no fridge at the very least or microwave. No fan in the bathroom and the sliding doors are for show because they hide nothing! Gaping open sides, thin, so you can hear and practically see whole bathroom. Might as well not even have a door. Terrible. Restaurant- While good, charging $13 for a margarita in a plastic cup is crazy. Overall it is a nice hotel and we enjoyed our visit just might need some upgrading a bit. read more

My review is not of the hotel itself. My review is of the reservation process and the staff I encountered in trying to do so. I called the hotel to inquire about rate matching (I am a BonVoy member) and was connected to a woman who was very nice and she told me they do rate match, and she offered to walk me step by step through the process. We had to fill out a "claim form" in order for them to match the lower rate I found online. She charged my card at a rate of $189 per night for two nights, and took my card number, assuring me that this would not be the rate I would inevitably be charged. We got half way thought the form and got disconnected. I called back and got hung up on FIVE times in a row. I called back a 6th time and got a woman who had no idea what I was even talking about. She simply said she could not help me. I called back again and got another person who gave me a number to call to speak with reservations staff and that number was DISCONNECTED. Feeling incredibly frustrated and very anxious (because the first woman bokked my room for $189 per night for two nights), I called again. This time I spoke to a nice man who was trying to help, but he was a little difficult to understand as he had a heavy accent. I asked him if perhaps I could please speak to a manager or supervisor to explain my issue. He was able to get someone else for me to speak to. This man's name was MARCO. By this time I am feeling incredibly frustrated and nearly in tears as I explain to him what had all transpired. He was condescending and unhelpful, except to insist I would not end up paying the high room rate. I had managed to finish the claim while I was put on hold multiple times, and it just said my claim needed further review. In the meantime, I don't know if that meant I am still possibly stuck with an over $400 hotel fee (that I cannot afford) or what. This was the WORST hotel booking experience I have ever had. I will never book a room at a Westin or Marriot again given this super stressful and exasperating experience. I just hope I can cancel this reservation without any penalty for this debacle. I would NEVER have given my card number if the first woman I spoke to hadn't said I definitely would not be stuck paying that rate. While I wait for this to get straightened out, I still have to make a reservation at another hotel for that weekend. It shouldn't be this hard. read more

Clean, with friendly staff, convenient location, but i'd say a bit out of date. Like any Westin - the beds and bedding are always the best. But overall finishes and furniture could use some updating. Loved the room i was put in, you should, if you can - ask for a Mountain View. There seems to be ample parking, but if you catch your reservation during a time when there's some conference or event - then you might find yourself needing to park in the street. I've always been a fan Westin Hotels because of their more elevated lux interiors and decor, the Westminster location did not disappoint. This location has a more of a resort style look/feel because it is a bit secluded with nice scenery like trees and fountains. The check-in process was pretty smooth, as a Titanium Elite they give you the perk to check-in earlier than the traditional 3PM time and check-out as late as 4PM. I arrived at 10AM and they were able to accommodate me into a room and confirm my 4PM check-out. Sweet! As you make your way to the elevators you'll notice a small Starbucks to your right in case you need a cup of joe or some sort of refresher. The line was pretty busy long though, most likely because the hotel was hosting a ZETA event and everyone in line looked like they belonged to... ZETA. Lol The room itself was nice like most Westin hotels. I always check the TV first to make sure it supports streaming services like Netflix and HBO and if anyone is wondering.. they do! Thank god. Y'all would be surprised at how many hotels still have those ancient televisions with local cable only. The bathroom was spacious with a traditional shower/tub combo and it also includes the handheld shower head for those looking for that. The hotel does have an indoor pool and a gym with tons of equipment including one Peloton bike. The reason I'm giving the hotel 4-stars is because the A/C was not working properly in my room. The temp would not go down below 74. I called the front desk to report the issue and they said they would send someone up to fix it but no one ever came. My favorite part about this hotel is that it's gym is open 24/7. The beds are also very comfortable and it's pretty neat and quiet and seems as if they made some recent updates (however, I definitely noticed some corners cut as well, but oh well). This Westin Westminster has a grand lobby with plenty of meeting/sitting areas available. Checkin was fast and easy with friendly staff members. The hotel offers room service and a restaurant / bar which we enjoyed during our stay. The Westin also offers a small market which has all your last minute needs. Starbucks is offered from 6-11am. A great location with many dining options & movie theater just across the street. Lots of outdoor areas with plenty of seating. The rooms are a bit outdated but clean. Lacking in USB ports, comfortable mattress' and high speed internet. read more

I was anticipating I was going to hate this place, because the reviews seemed polarizing but I enjoyed my stay here. Maybe because my expectations were low or maybe because it was just an ok hotel, I dunno. It's a pretty standard hotel. I will say I feel like the name Westin a few years ago felt more luxurious than it does nowadays. Room was clean and nice. I liked the robe they offered. They have daily housekeeping, which feels like a rarity. The room didn't have a clock. Not a ton of wall plug in spaces, but the lamps and desk have plugs and USBs. The bathrooms have shampoos and soaps secured to the wall. It was ok but I kinda like the individually wrapped stuff. In the days of tik tok challenges, who knows what other people could have just put in those bottles. They have a Starbucks, which never seemed open or at least open at weird times. Either there was a line or it was closed. The restaurant on site was ok. Decent food. Standard gym - small. Weights, treadmills. They have a peloton, which I liked. Pool seemed big, though water looked green (I didn't use). They also have a saunas in the pool bathrooms (but I didn't use). It is somewhat walkable to other things which is nice. There's some other restaurants, a Target and a movie theatre. It is a small trek but still walkable. To respond to another review I saw on here, there are restrooms in the lobby. Overall, a fine, standard, generic hotel experience. Not a curated, boutique hotel if thats your thing. The lobby is big and there's a lot of seating and outdoor seating, if thats your thing. read more

I stayed at the Westin Westminster hotel Aug 30th thru Sept 1st. It is located in Westminster, CO. I was there for a Healingfest Conference. I called the hotel to make sure I would get a handicapped room. I did not get my request. They said I could get one the next day and they would move my things to that room. I did get one of their handicapped rooms with a tub and not a walk in shower. My things were not moved to this room. The meeting was over after 10pm. I got to my room to find out I could not take a shower. With using both hands I could not turn the shower on. I called to the front desk. After 3 minutes and 15 seconds I hung up. The next morning I told them about the shower. They said they would put in a work order. I check at the lunch break and was told it was fixed. Again, I did not get to my room until after 10pm. I could not turn on the shower using both hands. A 2nd night I could not shower. Plus if it had worked out it would have been hard to use. It was located in a tub and was not a walk in shower. Handicapped people have very hard time to get into a tub safely to take a shower. The next morning I told the same person, that the shower was not fix. The next morning, the same man I had talked to each time just said sorry. No compensation for my bad experience with his hotel. I have travel ask over the world. I have never had an experience like this. I will never go their again. read more

Where do l even start? Plumbing was backed up, tv had the previous hotel guests info up which is concerning... I wouldn't want my name up in room/my private information unsecured. channel guide not working kept loading no list ! Tried to use phone it was not communicating to the front via a cordless unit. We had overflow of toilet, it soaked our towels, hair on ceiling bathroom was gross , advil liquid pill found under sink and night watch front desk LES didn't want to move us. "I have no doubles, talk to manager at 9am tomorrow blank stare... so next day the nice Manager tells us he had rooms that night! Today none. At this point we just wanted maintenance and a fresh cleaned room by the housekeep. He said LES did have rooms available for us and was just being straight up lazy. Next day l open closet to find an adult dirty diaper in plain sight in the ironing board area where my suitcase was. It was stanky. 15$ food voucher given. Barista gentleman was nice. Asked for shuttle service From VICTOR who was rude as well, pointed to name badge when asked his name. Bonboy advertised a Westin shuttle service with a huge bus parked outside and suv. No print outs for the tab on sundries/room charges, invoice. Pizza boxes in hallway. read more

My employer had an all staff meeting at the conference center this past week, for approximately 600 employees. I arrived a little early, however, I did notice that there were a lot of parking spaces available for all that had not arrived yet. As I walked into the conference center, it appeared clean, smelled fresh, and inviting. As I made my way to the conference room, I had to make a pit stop (if you know what I mean). The bathrooms were very clean, and plenty of stalls and urinals, for the capacity of men that were going to be attending the meeting (I am assuming the women's bathrooms were the same). I only say this because, sometimes the restrooms cannot accommodate a large staff meeting, and then your left standing in line, with your eyes floating, if you catch my drift, lol. The Westin did a great job in the preparation of the conference room, and the audio and projection screens seemed to be up to date, and there were no electronic hiccups during any part of our meeting. We were also served lunch (I know, I forgot the pictures again), which the chicken plate which was very tasty and moist, and some people opted for vegetarian. Although there was construction on Westminster Blvd, it wasn't to bad leaving the meeting, when everyone was heading out. I love the Westin brand! The Westin in Westminster, Co is exceptional. I have stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels domestically and internationally. From the front desk staff, housekeeping, Starbucks barista, the entire staff, is amazing. Helpful, pleasant and they provide a wonderful experience for their guest. Rooms are clean and updated. I do not understand the negative reviews. They do not depict a realistic portrayal of this hotel. I'll be back. Enjoyed my stay immensely. read more

Nice hotel near tons of shopping and business. Clean and comfy beds. Lots of construction going on nearby--would have liked to know the movie theater passover was blocked before walking all the way to the gate. read more

Staff including Tania is very accommodating. Unfortunately they can only accommodate so much. We tried three different rooms and each of them had mattresses where you could feel the springs. Walking up in the morning was a sore experience. The hotel needs to replace the mattresses so you and your partner don't roll into the center all night. read more

We've lived in Colorado our whole lives and have never stayed here until this past weekend when we decided to do a staycation. I can honestly say this is a hidden gem!! 100/10 I can't recommend this hotel enough. Staff was incredibly kind, the rooms, lobby/bathrooms, restaurant and pool were all super clean and well kept. The restaurant had delicious, high quality food and friendly staff and many different options! We actually ended up eating there a few times because we enjoyed it so much. I have food allergies and usually hotel restaurants are hard to eat at but they were very accommodating here. Jenn was our sever and she was SO kind! We were able to walk to other nearby restaurants and Dave and Busters and felt very safe in the area. The natural check out of 12:00pm is the cherry on top of a perfect stay as it allowed us to sleep in and play in the pool once more before departing back home. This place used to be great but it's gone downhill in service and quality. Jocelyn ruined the stay for us. Rude assistant manager. Lots of issues with the room. Most of the receptionists were either slow or too busy to care to respond to requests. read more

Apathy abounds at the Westminster Westin. My 2 day stay at this hotel was disappointing at best and when I offered my opinion to the Managment, I felt as if I was disappointing them. I have spent most of my career in marketing for the "luxury" brands. 6 years at one of the most prestigious country clubs in the state, as a photo asset manager for a billion dollar destination resort club. I know what 5 star luxury looks and feels like! The Westin of Westminster Colorado is a 2 star at best even though they claim to be 5 1/4 Stars. I can let the pictures speak for themselves! I'm referring to water damage to the bathroom ceiling and dark stains that appeared to be mold. The furniture was scratched and in disrepair. Public door handles and railings were filthy and ironically labeled sanitized for your protection. On both mornings with our room service breakfast order, we couldn't have been more frustrated. We only received one of our two entrees each morning. The quality of the food inconsistent from one day to another and no condiments, butter, cream or sugar were included on the second day. My partner and I are both retired and have been doing a good amount of road travel across this country throughout Covid. By far, the Westin in Westminster has been our biggest disappointment and being a resident of Westminster, I am ashamed for this establishment in the way they represent our fine city and state. read more
