My band, RELAAY, recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Arvada Denver while on tour, and our experience was outstanding from start to finish. From check-in, the front desk staff went above and beyond, making sure we had everything we needed. Since there are four of us, we requested extra blankets, pillows, and towels--all of which were delivered right away. After ten days on the road, we were relieved to find laundry facilities, along with a pool, fitness center, on-site restaurant, and plenty of comfortable spaces to work and relax. I stayed on Eastern time during the trip and tried to use the gym around 3:45 a.m. Mountain Time. When my key card didn't work, the front desk kindly explained that the gym normally opened at 5 a.m. However, they generously let me in early as long as I promised to keep quiet. For me, being able to stick to my workout routine while traveling meant so much. The hospitality we received made all the difference, and we're so grateful to the team at Hilton Garden Inn Arvada Denver. We can't wait to stay again next time we're in the area! read more

We just spent a night here on our way home to California. Check in was quick and staff were friendly. The hotel is very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were pretty comfortable and I had a great night of sleep. The rooms are updated and modern. Bathroom is nice too with a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Towels were well stocked. There is a restaurant in the lobby. There's a little snack shop down in the lobby which had snacks and drinks. That was nice and convenient. There are plenty of places to get takeout nearby. The hotel is located in a nice area near old town Arvada. I would definitely stay here again. I gave 4 stars because I saw mystery stains on the chair in our room. Didn't touch it or go near it though. read more

I travel for work weekly, if you stay in hotels as much as I do you learn to overlook certain things.... But what I can't overlook is a dirty room. I am not checking for high dust on the mirror, checking lamp shades for dust or pulling back the sheets to check the mattress ... but if I walk in the room and find a dirty napkin laying by the chair, peanuts in front of the cabinet and hair in the shower I question if the room wash vacuumed and cleaned. For the rates this hotel charges.... DO BETTER Day 2, my coworker and I go to the restaurant downstairs. The waitress immediately approaches to tell me if I did not purchase my Diet DP from the hotel front desk I could not drink it in the restaurant.... Ma'am I did, calm down it's just a Diet DP not beer or liquor. As look over to the kitchen I see 2 people, cooks I assume, rearranging the chicken strips and onion rings my coworker had ordered with their bare hands. The food had fallen off the plate in the window heating lamp area, both kitchen people and now the waitress are placing the food back on the plate. My coworker and I look at each other , the waitress approaches as we both hold our breath and there it is! She sits it on the table and I say "Did I really just see everyone put the food back on the plate and with their bare hands"? Her response " they was their hands often" I am not oblivious this can and probably does happen at other restaurants, to be so careless and nonchalant took it to another level. I am giving this 3 stars for the following reason. All of the employees have been wonderful but I must assume the management is not. I had to go to the lobby to get something for my hypoglycemic husband to eat in the middle of the night and noticed the two receptionists standing behind the counter were standing with no stools that they could take rests on. I was shocked to find out that they have to stand for their entire shifts. Apparently management thinks it looks better if guests see them standing. I think it just looks like uncaring clueless management. I will not stay here again at a place that doesn't treat their employees with respect. read more

Just about the only hotel in town, certainly Olde Town Arvada, the Hilton Garden is within walking distance to the main shopping area of the quaint and somewhat historic downtown Arvada. Lots of coffee shops, restaurants and shopping nearby. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely appointed, with comfortable beds, wifi, restaurant on site. Plenty of parking. Great location. I'd stay here again next time I visit Arvada. read more

Where to begin... First, the staff is great. The rooms are something else. The bed seems small for a king-size room. The chair cover is torn and the lights are odd - one by the bed is a flexible spot, the other is mounted so high the controls are unreachable. Then there's the bathroom with a toilet seat cover that's about to come off, lighting so poor I couldn't see well enough in the mirror to shave, a shower with a slippery floor and a soap container that was about to fall off the wall. Since we were coming into town visiting my sister. We needed a place to stay that's close by. This hotel was in the same city, so we booked it. The rooms are nice. We got two queen size beds because we needed an extra bed for my mother and father to crash in on before we fly back. What I loved about the room Is the functionality of everything. The drawer hampers at the closet area is hella useful for keeping dirties. The pool and the jacuzzi is pretty dope. Specially after a long day of hiking and walking around looking at rocks and trees and stuff. Only bad thing about it is they shut it down too early. Plus the fitness center isnt 24hrs either. Closes the same time the pool does. I work in the travel industry and the closing times are a WAY TOO EARLY. You run your hotel however you want to I guess right? Would've been a solid 4, maybe even a 5. 3 stars from this point. Breakfast was also another story. We sat down for a quick meal before our trip to the airport. We all ordered an Omelette. My mother's never came. We asked about it and the waiter made it sound like it was all my mother's fault. Our server said, "No you never put your order in. I can put in an order if you like." No apologies or anything. My mother is passive and so am I. We dont wanna make a scene. This is why I'm telling you all about it in this review of mine. We were not told breakfast was not included -- granted we showed up 10 minutes before breakfast ended but the food quality was not worth 20 a plate. We probably would have gotten breakfast elsewhere. This hotel is brand new. Everything looks great and the staff is very friendly. The hotel in general is near a lot of shopping plazas and strip malls. All the basics you need are within walking distance. It's easy to find but navigation suggests to turn on the street corner instead of straight into the hotel. Check in was smooth and the front staff friendly. The room was nicely decorated and modern. The bathroom was very nice with a little chic feel. One odd thing about the room is that the lighting is terrible. All of the lights are very dim except for one and of course it's in the corner of the room. The lobby bar and eating areas were all very nice, clean and staffed well. The lobby is set up nicely for groups to have conversations and meet up. The breakfast buffet is not a bad deal. It's $10.50 includes coffee, juices and hot/cold food. If you were to order anything off the menu it would be about the same. Also the buffet is fast if you're in a time crunch. They also have a pantry for snacks and some basic items. They did have one beer and it was local. Just wish they added a couple others. But they do have a bar with happy hour during normal hours. One thing I did have problems with was phone service. I was on the bottom floor and had some trouble with AT&T and Verizon. I think it might be the general area. I did have to use the hotel Wi-Fi. It wasn't the best and would be very slow at times. The hotel also has laundry on site. Simple but functional room. The pool is indoors and decent size. So swimming year round if you want. The gym is also decent with a good variety of equipment. The pool and gym hours are 5AM to 10PM. I definitely would stay again if I had to be in the area. The only thing is I might request room not on the first floor to see if it helps with reception. Give it a try....the place is new and fresh. read more

DON'T stay at this awful establishment. Save yourself the trouble. The people here are absolute bullies. Let's begin with having the police called on you for taking ten minutes after checkout to carry your luggage down. Absolutely ridiculous. It is astounding that these people feel the need to bother the police, who certainly have nothing better to do than rush to the aid of some pathetic hotel staff crying over a 90 pound guest not carrying her luggage out of the room quickly enough. Seriously? What a waste of everyone's time. The general attitude of the staff here is putrid. Truly, it's disgusting that they get away with treating guests this way. On top of all of this, I was constantly harassed regarding my service dog who I shared all credentials upon check in. Being told 'you don't look like you have any disability you need a service dog for...' wow, just wow. The real icing on the cake were the voicemails from them claiming that they had me 'checking out that day' and that I had left my dog 'unattended' and they would be 'contacting animal welfare'. Funny thing is - I never left my room that day/night, not once. I communicated my need for one more night and confirmed payment at 10am. How is it I pay for my room, stay to myself IN MY ROOM, and yet once again, am met with nothing but threats and harassment from these people? How is this okay? Sorry that you don't allow pets, and sorry that you obviously don't like them and don't want them in your establishment. But the LAW says you have to allow my service animal and myself REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS. I can't help but feel discriminated against for god knows what, my dog? My MANNERS? I will make it a point to share my story far and wide, and loud and clear, to anyone and everyone interested in this hell hole, as well as upon every platform possible so no one ever has to endure such mistreatment from these wretched employees. They START problems. They are THAT desperate to find something to pin on you and when they can't, they just make something up then call the cops on you. It is absolutely insane. I still can't wrap my head around it. Save yourself the trouble of this pathetic establishment! Save your money, save your time, save your sanity! SAVE YOUR HAPPINESS! These people are all miserable people dying to pass some of their misery onto the next unsuspecting, innocent guest. Seriously! I can't say enough bad things! The rooms are musty! The floors are disgusting. The showers have a layer of muck all over. So gross. It's an OVERPRICED hole in the wall. Then getting treated like a freaking criminal on top of it? This place should be ashamed of themselves. The thing is - I didn't bother anyone during my stay. I did not cause a commotion, or start trouble. I was not loud. I didn't not have any unreasonable demands, actually I had no demands at all whatsoever! Just needed a place to keep to myself for a few days while I settled some personal obligations. To show nothing but respect to a place of business and the people running it only to get treated like absolute scum leaves me speechless. I was in need of one more day and they told me they wouldn't extend my reservation because they were 'sold out' which couldn't have been more of a bold-faced lie. The parking lot was nearly empty, the entire floor was silent. I'm not as dumb as I look, they were not 'sold-out' just inconsiderate, power hungry, truly awful people looking for someone they consider less powerful to bully. That's really all it is. A miserable excuse for a 3-star hotel, especially considering it's part of a major chain. Pros: -The facilities and rooms appear clean and generally nice, especially if you're into the modern minimalist look. -It is generally close to several restaurants, a movie theater, etc. Cons: -The WiFi (which they boast as an amenity) is so god-awful that we could not even connect to it successfully. (Note: If you are on the Verizon network, you already have terrible cell service in Arvada for whatever reason, leaving you without service or WiFi). -The management staff were unhelpful in providing any sort of solution for the above issue, despite their "Hilton Garden Inn Promise." Instead, we were told "that's just how it is." -The rooms, despite appearing nice and clean, are poorly designed--especially the bathrooms. --The bathroom door is a sliding farmhouse-style door which is not only terribly overused nowadays but also lacks a lock. If you're sharing your room with a partner it may not be the biggest deal, but it's certainly discomforting to not have the option to lock the bathroom door. --The shower door is opposite of the shower faucet, meaning that to turn the water on--especially to a warmer temperature--you are forced to either do gymnastics or get wet before getting in. read more

The gym is small but has new equipment that functions well. The bed was very comfortable although the comforter was super thick and I got hot during the night. It is super dry and if you put the AC on, it gets even drier. So they really need to have humidifier in there to bring back the moisture! Overall, pleasant stay. This seems, and looks, and feels, like a new facility, so that is a big plus for me. It is well laid out, gorgeous inside (of course), and the rooms are quite oddly laid out, at least mine was. I have included a photo so it can be seen, but I must say that I ended up really liking it! I was facing the mountain, so the view was great, and being on the fifth floor nobody could really see in from the parking lot, but the layout was just natural. The bathroom was great although I wish I didn't have to make my arm get all wet to turn on the shower. There's no way around it, but it's just a tiny tiny thing. So my conclusion is that I like it a lot and I will be back! read more

Today we finally made our final destination to Colorado after a very long road trip. We were tired, hungry and ready to relax. Thankfully the hotel has a bar/restaurant in the lobby. As we sat down we were promptly greeted by Nicole who quickly took our order and made our seriously delicious gin and tonics! Then as our food began arriving I asked about some local restaurant suggestions, her eyes lit up and proceeded to grab a map of the area. Terrible experience. Be aware they will double charge you for every day you stay plus $50 deposit for every day you stay. Than hold that money for 5-7 days. If you try and talk to the manager they will make up a variety of different excuses of why she is not available. If you talk to costumer service they will say it's in the fine print and it's their policy at Hilton hotels. Otherwise the hotel is meh. Not worth the money. A premium view is a view of an apartment complex. What a great hotel! The staff is nothing but helpful and friendly. They printed things for us for free and answered a lot of questions happily and made us feel like we were their only guests. The wait and bar staff were so much fun to interact with. They knew our names after one meal and treated us like royalty. Every meal pleased us, especially their rib-eye steaks and tacos (anyone can stop by for Taco Tuesdays, if your in the area). And, they have a happy hour! The lobby is modern yet cozy with a warming fireplace on a cold snowy day. Our room was very comfortable and my bed was so comfy I didn't want to get out. Very easy to find, clean updated rooms, and excellent service. They have a nice indoor pool, hot tub, and exercise area that were well kept and never crowded. ****UPDATE**** Spoke to manager (Jesus) second time about housekeeping barging in on top of a dirty and terrible smelling room. He told me I was "threatening" when I said I'll probably take this up the line to corporate given how many issues with housekeeping there were. His best offer was to "speak to housekeeping manager". He gave a sob story that they "have ten interviews a day" and only hire one or two....and "most don't show up for shifts". I get it. That's awful. The end of the pandemic happened faster than we thought. Hospitality can't keep up. But that is NOT an excuse for staff to open rooms without an answer after knocking, and that is not an excuse to leave old food in fridge. Man, does this place give you the runaround/they have a load of excuses. -- I hate to do this. I stayed here twice before and had a great experience. Lovely staff. But on my last stay, my room smelled terrible. Because there was a shared door with the room next to me I thought they maybe just heated up mac & cheese in microwave. Turns out: open fridge two hours later and there is a TON of spoiled fold. Milk, yogurt, take out boxes, open soda. I called down and asked what they could do. Couldn't move rooms cause full. Couldn't open windows to air out cause windows don't open in this hotel (so claustrophobic). They offered to drop my rate $20-25 bucks. So you're charging me nearly $200 after taxes and best you can do is knock off $20? And there is no way to air out my room or move me? So I had a disgusting smelling place to stay for three days, two nights. What the actual fuck. I finally spoke to a manger and he deduced another $50 or so. Still $120 with taxes for a room like this? ABSOLUTELY NOT ACCEPTABLE. They should all be forced into a small hotel room for three days smelling like puke and rotten cheese. I should have been fully reimbursed. As a result I'll be taking this up the chain to higher management. Some ego. They tried to tell me "we are in the top 10 of the nation cleanliness wise"...like that would make me feel better. Furthermore, I had housekeeping barge in TWICE on my check out day. Once around 10:30-they knocked and said "housekeeping!" and then just used the master card without waiting for an answer. So they just opened the door. I had no bra on and my privacy was invaded. I legit flipped on them because this is not acceptable. I also got a later checkout and told the housekeeper I'd be out by 1pm (when she showed up at 10:30). But at 12:30 she showed up again and did the exact same thing--just barged in and didn't wait for answer. So unprofessional. She said "oh right sorry forgot". Really???????? $200 for terrible housekeeping. I worked as a housekeeper, maid, waitress. and bus for years so I understand pressure and needing to get things done. But none of that is an excuse for all this. read more

It just keeps getting worse. The Assistant General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn Arvada, Christian, is now harrassing me by phone including waking me up by calling at 8 am on Sunday morning (!), insisting he must somehow "make this right". I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE, THAT CAN'T BE FIXED AFTER THE FACT! He keeps calling my mobile phone... why can't Hilton just take their feedback and LEAVE ME ALONE? Unless YOU want the bad experience with this Hilton location that I had, STAY AWAY! This is exactly what I said in my post-stay Hilton survey ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The room is filthy especially the glass panel on the bathroom door. I never heard a vacuum running, ever, despite walking past two housekeepers on my floor for five days. The bathroom floor is sticky, they "clean" the tile with a Swiffer just pushing the muck around. I looked at them while walking past the housekeeping carts - they are all black even before being used. Gross! Tile floors should be steam cleaned at least once a month. The carpets were filthy. I was afraid to go barefoot in my room. Your housekeeper ignored our "Do Not Disturb" sign, came into our room, only did about half of the work she should have done, and then threw away things that looked like trash to her that weren't. In 30 years as a HHonors member, I have never even once had a housekeeper ignore a "Do Not Disturb" sign. For shame! The room is stupidly designed and clearly meant for one person. The glass panel on the bathroom door means that the lights cannot be turned on at night without waking up the other person. So you have to fumble around in a strange bathroom with a loose towel on the floor in the dark to go to the bathroom at night. So wrong. The light on the right side of the bed is stupidly mounted too high with a tiny switch on the bottom of the box, you have to get up out of bed to turn it on or off. Dumb! Plus it has two outlets on it, what would a person possibly plug in five feet up the wall? The switch for the floor lamp in the back corner is hidden behind the chair and its too-high "computer desk". I had to get down on my hands and knees on your dirty carpet to find it. Dumb again!!! Not this stay, but our first stay in November (11/9, one night) we ordered room service. Dog food has to taste better than the anything-but crispy flatbread and straight-from-Costco "chicken fingers" with off-taste ranch dressing and carrots on the side. It was horrible. We did not eat it. You can't even cook chicken fingers. What's wrong with your kitchen? In all, this was such a huge disappointment that we believe we would have been happier at the Motel 6. We recently moved from away from Arvada, we watched your hotel being built and were excited to have a Hilton in town. But the Arvada Hilton Garden Inn is such a huge disappointment, we have told all of our friends who live there to have their families stay somewhere else. The experience we had is not appropriate for a Hilton. So you are losing local business as well as travelers because i will also be posting this review verbatim on every review site on the internet i can find. You have permanently tarnished the Hilton brand for me. Bad Hilton! Go to your room! read more

This was a nice treat! We usually try to go for the cheapest hotel we can find. I mean when your on vacation the hotel is a place you just sleep and shower at. You are usually out and about exploring. However, my husband has points and was like why not. The hotel was place perfectly between the old town and the new shopping places. It has a lot of shops and restaurants around it to eat at. The rooms were spacious and had clean. Very modern with plenty of plugs placed at the right places. The only negative thing I would say about the room is that the bathroom door was a sliding door and did not have a lock on it. Sharing a room with other people makes it difficult but it not that big of a deal. The place had a decent gym, pool and hot tub. Also, you get a fridge and a microwave in the room which you do not find always in a better hotel. The staff and workers were very friendly and were always there to help. This was a great busines stay. They have very new and very CLEAN rooms here. My room had a very nice workspace with good lighting. Dont spend any extra on a mountain view room though, they have buildings built up around them and my mountain view was the parking lot of the apartments next to the hotel. The staff at the front desk was really welcoming and had all sorts of great advice for where to eat and what to do. If you dont want to stray to far from the hotel, they have a full bar and food menu. They had Taco Tuesday while I was there and you could grab chicken or shredded beef tacos for $1.50 each and they were really good! I wont lie, tacos can pretty much sway me in any direction but it was a great stay. read more

We stayed here for four nights while in town for the Great American Beer Festival. It was about 15 minutes away from downtown and we never had an issue using Uber to go back and forth. It's in Olde Town Arvada which offers some great eating and drinking spots within walking distance of the hotel. The mountain view room was nice although the immediate view is more of the apartment complex behind the building. The mountains are about 8-10 miles away on the horizon. Nice at sunset each day but not sure it warrants an additional charge, except if you want a higher floor perhaps. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and new. We didn't try the breakfast or restaurant so I can't comment on those. Breakfast is an additional expense if you aren't a gold or diamond Hilton honors member so we went out to breakfast each morning (Breadwinners Cafe). Christian and staff are wonderful! We were in town for a friends wedding and we are soooo happy we stayed here! Rooms are brand new, clean, and the layout of each room maximizes the space. We had a gorgeous room with a huge window right in front. Will stay here again when we aer in town! read more

its a new hilton garden inn so how can you complain? staff exceeded expectations. check out staff in the morning sucked. too busy chatting with each other. priscilla is AMAZING. seemed like they had a MUCH more robust hot food offering than other hilton garden inns. also breakfast is NOT included but looked promising. straightforward but its prob less than a year so great spot. i love new properties. read more

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL When you stay at a hotel you assume your car will be safe at night .. I packed up my car on Dec 30th because of the fires happening close to my house. We stayed at the hotel to get out of the smoke arrived very late in the night and when I awoke my car was gone. They were not helpful or sincere at all.. actually quite rude and told me to call the cops. All of my most precious possessions were in my car when it was stolen things that cannot be replaced. I have worked at a hotel before and they did not Handel the situation correctly at all. They couldn't even tell me if my car got stolen or towed. They didn't even know how to work the security cameras... which I find weird because you would hope someone is watching the cameras at night so people can sleep calmly without worrying there car would be stolen. Very disappointed over all that they took zero responsibility for something that was stolen off there lot with active security cameras and someone on the clock over night... New manager on a power trip made for a bad experience. The usual GM is awesome. But some new girl just made life unnecessarily difficult including changing and confusing rules for a group just trying to jump through the hoops as she moved them. read more

I want say this!! If I didn't have met the front desk employee Black women name Lashawn or Leshawn, I wouldn't of like this hotel. She made the stay great! We had a nice stay at this hotel. Room was very clean and modern. Best part of the stay was Taco Tuesday with $1.50 tacos and $5.00 margaritas. We paid more for the Mountain View. Not too sure it was worth it because the majority of our view was apartment buildings. The bathroom door is a little strange. It does not close all the way so don't expect much privacy. This was ok as it was just the two of us but would make it uncomfortable if more people were staying. Within walking distance to all the shops and eateries in Downtown Arvada. If in the area, I would stay again. read more

I was booked at the Hilton Garden Inn Arvada on very short notice because of a family emergency, and because of the nature of the trip, I had no set checkout date, and had to keep extending it. The staff of this hotel bent over backwards to accommodate me, and when it turned from a family emergency into a family bereavement, their kindness was genuinely appreciated. I came back to my room after the worst day imaginable to find a bottle of wine, two glasses, bottled water and a sympathy card signed by the entire staff. I broke down and cried at the sensitivity and kindness of these wonderful people. Two weeks later I booked here again for the funeral services, and Christian at the front desk made sure we got the accommodations we needed, despite having to check in after 1AM. I will never forget how we were gently treated at this hotel. read more
