He found the issue but he couldn't get the part from his distributor. It was on back order so I was devastated. He knew I was desperate for the repairs because I was having a big get together here in just days. He told me what they needed, helped me find the part on my own and they installed it. What could be better than this? Later I had an ice maker problem. Their response was again quick and they got it fixed. They were kind, professional, responded quickly and fix it right away. It did not. We made an appointment Randy came looked at the fridge tinkered with something and low and behold it was fixed! Took him 5 minutes! I need a new filter. (We just replaced it) I was so thrilled. He then told us to order filter on Amazon it was much cheaper! I was afraid I was going to be out $200 to $300 dollars. Since Randy was here and I had to pay the service charge anyway ($95) I had him clean out our dryer. (I wanted to get my monies worth) Friends I'm not stupid. Randy could have tinkered around and replaced parts that I did not need and I would not have been any wiser. He was honest and did exactly what he should have done. I appreciate good honest service like this.

We had an old dryer that stopped heating up and drying clothes. We called Purchase Appliances on a…read morerecommendation to have it looked at and repaired. The first repair man came out and said it needed a new timer. That visit causes $116 we had purchased appliance order the timer and that was another $218. The second repair man came out and installed the timer and the dryer still did not work. He could not find the problem. That visit cost us $175. They sent a third repair man out and he could not fix it either. Could not figure out what was wrong with it. No charge for that visit. At this point, we have $509 in a used dryer that does not work. We headed down to the store to see what our options were. They had a used dryer at their store that they were selling for $300. They gave us $250 credit for our dryer which had a new $200 timer on it. So we ended up putting in an additional $50 to get another used dryer. Then they delivered and installed the dryer we bought from them for $155. When they came to install the dryer, the cord on the dryer was not long enough to reach the plug in our house. I made a trip down to Paducah to pick up a longer cord and they charged me $40 for it. I told them I didn't feel it was fair for me to have to pay for the cord after all we have gone through and the expense we have gone through but they would not budge. The cord started out at $45 and they knocked it down to $40. So now we have $754 in a used dryer. We could have bought a brand new one cheaper. And they thought I was being unreasonable asking them to cover a $40 cord for the dryer. They took no accountability in their part of not being able to fix it. A clothes dryer is one of the simplest appliances there are out there. It's hard for me to believe somebody couldn't fix that thing.

After Santee came out and inspected the washer. It turned out it wasn't able to be fixed. However, the nice young man knew that I had just moved in my place and needed something quickly.
