We moved to the area a couple weeks ago and within a few days our dishwasher went out in our new home. Called Michael and he came out the next day, arriving promptly on time. Michael went to work and quickly discovered several issues with the dishwasher. He showed me the evidence of previous leaks and attempted repairs. He said he would be able to fix it, but due to the number and severity of the issues, strongly recommended purchasing a new one. Note: Michael does NOT sell new appliances! Great focus on the customer. Michael definitely could have made significantly more money making the repair, but choose to put the customer first. Michael contacted me shortly after I requested a quote through Yelp. Our refrigerator was not cooling anything down. He was able to fit usvin on short notice to come and look at. Quick diagnosis of the problem and was able to order the parts quickly. Respectable Costa for repairs and good amount was due to parts. He called back less than a week later and we scheduled his repair visit. Took just a few hours on the repairs. He was polite, courteous and he knew his stuff. My dishwasher had been acting up for about 6 months until it finally died. I requested a quote through Yelp on a Sunday and Michael replied right away. We spoke on the phone so I could explain in more detail what the problem was and made an appointment for the following Tuesday. He arrived within 30 minutes of the agreed upon time. When he arrived he was very professional as well as friendly. It turned out to be a minor problem and the amount charged was more than fair. Michael came to my house after being contacted by my oven manufacturer, Cosmo. He came out to my house for a fee to diagnose what was wrong with my oven. He accepted the job and told Cosmo what parts were needed to fix the oven. After the parts arrived at my house, he attempted to fix my oven on Monday. After he pulled my oven out to the middle of my kitchen, removed the back of my oven, and removed the inside of my oven, he proceeded to tell me he cannot get the oven door off or the top of the stove so he will have to come back as he was not able to get in contact with Cosmo. He left my house leaving everything in the middle of my kitchen. Wednesday he came back after speaking with Cosmo, he attempted to fix the oven again. Michael then tells me he is not able to fix my oven and the stove top does not work, which worked prior to him touching it. He later proceeds to try to fix the oven and stovetop. After several hours, Michael tells me he is finished and is going to run some things to his van and will be back for payment. The oven was not fixed and now one of my burners were broke. He was very unprofessional and stated he wasted too much time on my oven and lost too much money. He will no longer work on Cosmo appliances again.
