When the technician came, he explained that there was a problem with my compressor, but the good news was that the refrigerator was still under warranty. AG Appliance Repair was kind enough to file a claim with LG, and once LG accepted the claim and mailed the parts, AG Appliance Repair came back promptly to fix it. The story: After calling GE repair and hearing that I'd have to wait a week for a service call that would unlock the oven door on my GE Profile. I was not happy, I called A to Z and left a message. Within minutes, I got a call back. Within two hours Simcha was at my door. He listened carefully to my recounting of what happen and what I did to attempt a fix. Then he went to work. Soon he had my oven door off and the innards of the range top exposed. He explained that a motor was likely burnt out and a control board might be as well. He suggested a plan - order both, replace the motor only,(a less expensive part) then test it. If it works - her returns the control board (much more expensive,) and if the motor doesn't fit the prolbem, there's no additional wait. We made a plan - but then he found out the motor was not stocked by his supplier, he ordered it and put the Profile back together so that I could use the oven and stove - but no self cleaning till the new motor. He gave me all the pricing for the two options. He also pointed out that the self-lean had partially melted the with that activated the oven light when the door is opened. He had looked up the part had had a price for me on that as well.I was very surprised how low the options were after all the time he had put in. I approved the added work, Simcha called later to tell me he had found a new supplier who had them in stock. Two days later he was back. Replaced the motor, replaced the light - problem solved! Paid via Chase Quick pay. As good as it gets.

Said there was nothing to indicate an oil leak. Throughout the week, the washer still smells of gear oil, and on Saturday morning my husband turned the washing machine on its side, unscrewed a cover, and there is gear oil leaking out from the bottom. The agitator did not need to come off; nothing would be visible. Parts can only be accessed from the bottom of the machine. Sent photos and a text to Handler, and they thanked me for the update and said nothing else. Not sure why I paid for a service call/diagnostic fee to tell me nothing was wrong, when clearly something is very wrong. Part on order. App is easy to use, and tech was on time and extremely polite, however: Will absolutely not use this service again, or recommend.
