The diagnostic fee was very fair, their response time was fantastic, and communication throughout the entire process was excellent. The repair cost was a little higher than I had initially hoped, but once the technician arrived and explained everything, it made complete sense. He explained that, as an authorized Samsung repair company, they have to pay licensing fees to Samsung and continuously stay up to date on Samsung's ever-changing technology and repair procedures. That level of specialized training is something many other repair companies don't invest in. In fact, before finding them, I contacted several appliance repair companies, and every one of them told me they worked on every brand except Samsung. That alone speaks volumes about the expertise this company offers. Not only did they repair my Samsung refrigerator's ice maker, but they also fixed my Samsung dryer, which had stopped drying properly. The technician went above and beyond by explaining everything in detail, answering all of my questions, and making sure I understood the repairs. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional from start to finish. I'm incredibly grateful to have both my refrigerator and dryer working again. Appliance Worx was assigned to us from our home warranty co. FIRST AMERICAN WARRANTY. Peter was sensational. Replaced our "craft" ice maker, showed us how to turn it on & off and explained the trouble we were having and set clear expectations moving forward. ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL. FIRST AMERICAN WARRANTY....NOT SO MUCH. initially they assigned us another appliance repair company (their name escapes me at this time) and when I did just 20 min of research found out on the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAUs website that they were "COMPLETELY ROTTEN". Those were the exact words they used in describing that company. I had to DEMAND to speak with a manager before FAW assigned me someone else. Worst company every. I called off work for my early morning repair today after waiting 2 weeks for a part. They changed the appt and I went to work late for the reschedule later in the day, then they called out completely after asking me, a single 60 yr old woman to pull out fridge and unplug it so they could do the repairs. Then send me a text cancelling all together with no other appointment offered. I called them. They said the soonest is in 3 days. So my meds and food go bad. I asked isn't there another rep, they said not in my area Roseville. If you are in Roseville don't go to this company. I am working with my warranty to get this changed. He ordered the part and the very next week, came out and fixed it. My ice maker had been out for 2 months. Worst customer experience ever!!! Tech was nice but didn't follow up. They came to fix refrigerator 2 weeks ago knowing it would not last. Be sure that you only ask for help with an appliance brand they are comfortable with, even though my father's stove is a nice quality, brand new, just bought from Lowes and the manufacturer sent the simple parts to install (5 jet screws) they wont help him simply because its not a brand they claim to service. Its like saying your car shop wont put windshield wipers on that are readily available because they only work on ford... this is ridiculous. We called our home warranty company for a refrigerator dispenser problem. The first two technicians from another company were unable to communicate effectively in English to advise us about the nature of the problem or even if the problem had been fixed. The problem reoccurred within a day after the first technician's visit and water was leaking on to the floor. The second technician from the same company only communicated through his phone translator. Frustrated and upset with the warranty company's choice of technicians and concerned about the water spilling on to our hardwood floors, the warranty dispatcher arranged for Appliance Worx to look at the problem. Peter, the assigned Appliance Worxs technician, carefully explained the possible causes of the issues we were experiencing and quickly set to work to thoroughly inspect every aspect of the refrigerator. He replaced a potentially faulty part and thoroughly explained the manufacture's diagnostic terms so we could better understand any future error codes. When I called to inquire about getting our dryer repaired, I was quoted a $125 fee for the visit and told that any parts needed would be taken out of that amount. So I was very surprised when our final bill totaled $326. The cost of the part ($47) was not deducted from the $125 service fee, and there was $150 of labor on top of that for 27 minutes of work. When I emailed the office to inquire why the total was so different from what I had been quoted, I was told: "If the tech can fix the appliance the day of the appointment he will waive the service fee and give you a flat rate of the repair cost. If the tech would have had to come back another day with parts you would have only paid the service fee the day of the appointment and the remainder when he came back with parts. If you didn't want to move forward with the repairs you would have only had to pay the service fee." I emailed again, still confused, because the service fee and labor were both listed on the invoice. The answer was: "The tech gave you a flat rate price based on a blue book. We dont change hourly." None of this really answered my question or even apologized for the confusion, so I tried to call the office to speak to a manager and was told that someone would call me back. They never did. If you're considering using this company, I recommend being very detailed in your questions about their pricing. That said, the technician himself was great and repaired our dryer quickly - it just cost an arm and a leg. read more

Peter came and was ready with the right parts needed to replace broken motor pump based on error codes we told their scheduler our washing machine was getting, and everything else we did we think needed to solve the problem.
