However, there were quite a few buckets placed here & there on counters & the floor. We were helped by James, who greeted us soon after we entered. He was knowledgeable, talked of other customer experiences for reference, gave his opinion, discussed different scenarios to consider, & spoke with candor. We felt comfortable to take our time to look around. Information would be provided & then we'd be given space to discuss on our own. It never felt pushy or judgmental. The Cafe model we wanted wasn't physically there to see, but we were shown other Cafe & GE models, & had the similarities & differences explained to know what the features were on the one we'd be purchasing. The ordering experience at James's desk was comfortable. We sat on bar seats with a large screen to view on our side that mirrored the computer screen that James worked on. He was very thorough & double-checked everything with us. He was also conversational & humorous during the process. We opted to go with the pro installation team that could handle any possible snafus that could come up (like cabinetry measurements being off) versus a basic install that would only involve taking out the old & putting in the new. There was an initial scheduling issue with the installation. It got mitigated, but resulted in a delay of an hour from our original time slot. The installers were respectful & efficient. They informed us of a small issue & consulted on how it could be resolved. We are satisfied customers.

The person that coordinated the delivery canceled my delivery and didn't bother to tell me. Homewise was supposed to drop off my range at my home on Wednesday. I had an electrician scheduled to upgrade my wiring and install the new range the following Thursday. When the delivery crew finally arrived on Friday they thought they were just dropping it off after I was told that they would deliver and install. After heated calls to Homewise the crew was told to install it. The delivery crew installed the range and it work but I could not get the crew to level it properly. 30 years ago I could have fixed it a few minutes but now I have to get someone to level it. Homewise has good products but don't count on professional service after the sale. I think I judged the delivery crew unfairly. Today was 101°F and it was late in the day. These guys had been out all day they were under the impression that they just had to drop off my range. They still had one more delivery before going home and really didn't want to spend time making my oven perfectly level. This crew works harder than anyone in this endeavor and are in all probability compensated the least. They and the salesman are as much victims of the back office as my wife and I.

Garrett explained the differences in their appliances to help us decide what we wanted. Knowing that supply chain delays were a potential obstacle, we placed our order as early as possible. Garrett kept us updated on status and let us know when their warehouse received each item. A-1 stored the appliances for months at no cost and delivered right when they were needed. Our kitchen contractor will be installing the appliances, but advised us to have them unboxed when they arrived to check them for damages. The delivery team was very patient and helpful and suggested that they put the boxes back over the appliances after we checked them over to protect them until they are installed. Everyone we dealt from the moment we walked into the store until the appliances arrived was extremely helpful and professional. I do not hesitate in the least to give this store a hearty recommendation.

When I asked them to order the missing part, I was told they would only order it if I accepted full responsibility and no-refund liability if the part did not fit my refrigerator. Think about that for a moment: if the company selling the refrigerator is not comfortable standing behind the part they are ordering for the refrigerator they sold, that raises serious concerns. 2. Installation Was a Nightmare: This is a custom JennAir refrigerator that requires cabinet panels to be installed before it can actually be used properly. Initially, I was told the installation could be completed within a few days and an appointment was scheduled. Later, I was informed that they had a refrigerator installer available, but no panel installer, and the installation would therefore have to be pushed out by another two weeks. That created a major problem because a panel-ready refrigerator is essentially unusable without the required panels. I had to scramble at the last minute to find someone who could install the panels so that we could actually use the refrigerator. Days after he came out, same thing the washer was loud and shook again (on normal setting). I called Appliance warehouse again and it's the same story, I had to wait for days for a repairman to come out. I asked if we can get a replacement, and the lady who is tan and has long nails stated "no" the repairman has to try and fix it at least "6" times...EXCUSE ME?? Finally, after one last attempt, repairman came out again, and they washer now does not shake anymore but I am only able to run it on "normal" cycle, not "heavy or light cycle". I found out that all of their washer and dryers are all torn apart and rebuilt with reburnished parts (junky parts). Long story short, go somewhere else! You're better spending an extra $100-200 for a brand new set at Costco. I AM NEVER COMING BACK HERE! Oh yeah, and they tell you to leave as "good review" to get a free month of warranty.
