Initial contact was professional. I was introduced via email to a senior investigator, received outreach requesting availability, and followed up promptly to move forward. Payment was made, and I was advised that records requests and background checks were underway. Unfortunately, after that point, the experience steadily deteriorated. All subsequent communication was handled almost entirely via text message, with long gaps between responses. I was repeatedly told that: Records requests were still pending Multiple counties were being checked Open-records requests could take additional time At various points, I was also informed that the primary investigator was out of the country, and that other investigators would take over. Despite these assurances, no formal report, written findings, documentation, or proof of investigative work was ever delivered. Over the course of weeks and then months, I made multiple requests for: A written summary of findings Copies of any records obtained Documentation supporting the work performed None of this was ever provided. To be clear, I understand that investigations can take time and that open-records requests are sometimes delayed. What is not acceptable is paying for professional investigative services and receiving no final deliverable whatsoever, only intermittent explanations and delays communicated by text. Ultimately, I had to abandon the effort without receiving anything tangible for the money paid. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Blackfish Intelligence. If you are expecting clear communication, professional reporting, or documented results for a paid investigation, that was not my experience.

He rationalized the price discrepancies between his engineer and himself arguing that clients will not dictate his business management. Owner and technician inconsistent between one another and with myself in communication. Easily impatient and hung up the phone when unable to control and coerce arrangements. They will also attempt to create a bigger case of protocoal than is necessary. They are definetely trying to shop and control their prospective clients, far over-reaching, and it's all about the money. Definitely stay away from this company as they are not to be trusted.

They listened to what we wanted and Al (owner) provided a bid the following day. After evaluating the other two bids, it was clear we needed to go with DFWCVS. Not just because of price, but service, care, good communication and quality equipment. Al and Justin arrived on time to do the install and set to work. Since we were replacing the entire system and moving some of the cameras to better locations (thank you Al), they were around all day. They worked hard and I could tell, they worked well together. Al kept us informed at all times on where they were with the install. There was one small hiccup when Justin slipped in the attic and accidentally caused some damage to our kitchen ceiling. Justin and Al felt so bad about the accident, but we kept telling them, it was an accident and we were thankful nobody got hurt. Al took action and worked on getting a repairman to come over to access the damages. Luckily, we have a neighbor that owns his own painting company and he came over and gave Al a bid. The repair work was finished a few days later. You couldn't tell it was ever damaged . Al and Justin were finishing up some work for us and were relieved to see how well it had turned out. Al took care of everything and was hired by our neighbor for some security work. A new relationship was made. Win win. We can't speak highly enough about the integrity of this company. You don't see many companies that stand behind their work like Al and Justin. They are great to work with and we couldn't be happier with our security camera system. I reached out via text, and immediately got a response and subsequent call. The owner/operator, Robert (ask him about the story of the business name) is a super nice guy, runs a one man show, and he's passionate about his work. He arrived literally within a half hour of our first contact, and after a brief chat, he got to work. Our vent exits to the roof, and he found (among THREE trips up to the roof) that our roofer had left the poly screen in place on the vent housing (a code no-no) and it was blocked to about 90%. He removed the screen and clean out the loose crud up there, then went to work inside. After thoroughly cleaning the ducting, he went back up top to verify that the cleaning tool was indeed "topped out" at the vent exit, ensuring that everything was completely spotless. A huge pile of debris was the result, which he cleaned completely prior to finishing up. Robert is a super nice guy to work with, the price was literally less than half of an estimate we received from our A/C company, and again, you're supporting a one man locally owned and operated company, someone who lives in the community. Seriously, call Robert if you need this service (and if you don't remember when you had it done, you probably do). He'll fix you up!
