To my knowledge, that conduct was neither cautioned nor corrected. I found the message unprofessional, dismissive, and lacking emotional intelligence--especially in an expensive family-law matter, where I was already under significant stress. I assumed they were not taking my case, but out of nowhere and more than a year later, they emailed me saying they were about to file my claim. Two months after that they emailed me saying that after further review, they do not feel that there is enough evidence to move forward. They recommended I get a second opinion, but now there is very little time to do so, due to the statute of limitations of two years for my particular case.
