I brought my three boys with me as they were excited and I know we had a really short drive to the marina. A lot went wrong. The boat was taking In some water through behind the engine and one engine lost fuel prime and would not restart. I called the marina and the owner was so kind she helped us dock which from my limited skills especially with one engine was a catastrophe. She let me go where I could and showed us how to tie up. The marina moved the boat to the correct slip for me and I am currently figuring out what to do but the marina was kind not judgmental, calm. And helpful even though I definitely made some poor decisions in attempting this without another adult. The owner's attitude made a bad situation of which she didn't cause more manageable and didn't make my bad day worse.

It set the tone for what ended up being a very uncomfortable meal. The organization of the brunch was extremely poor. All tables were seated and then released at the same time, which created complete chaos. There was no direction, no clear flow, and no communication. Two lines formed for the buffet, but there wasn't nearly enough space to accommodate everyone. At the carving station, both lines collided and people had to awkwardly cross over each other just to access different items. The food itself was also underwhelming. Several of the vegetables were undercooked, and overall the quality did not meet expectations for a holiday brunch. To add to the frustration, I asked for milk for my mom's coffee (she can't have cream), and after about 10 minutes, we were told there was no milk anywhere in the building. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience--especially for a special occasion like Easter. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

We bought our first boat off a guy who had a slip with Fairwinds and because of a previous beef with the previous owner of the boat the guy said he had no slips which was a lie !!!! Now he wants to demand 200$ cause the guy we bought the trailer off dropped it off in the wrong spot . mind you it hasn't even been a day. i understand if it was there for weeks or days but it hasn't even been a day and it definitely wasn't placed on this assholes lot on purpose. He blocked the trailer in with his truck and is demanding money. what a shitbag. Be very careful using this marina for repairs I'm from Connecticut I purchased a boat through a…read morebroker, had a reputable surveyor go over the , found the coolant in the starboard bilge found the synchronizer was not working for the engines about faulty gauges dash. Safe Harbor mechanics looked at it noted they never found any coolant in the starboard bilge I have pictures before and after also there was a rag in the bilge wet with coolant, they claim they put two pins in to repair the synchronizer and check the synchronizer that it was working, that's an outright lie the synchronizer cannot have been working because the cable going to the port motor that that drives the synchronizer was completely broken away and disconnected. On the way back in our gauge is dropped to 11 V on the port motor I had diagnose that a bad alternator which we replaced I had to drive back 6 1/2 hours by Boat and as far as I'm concerned this marina put people in jeopardy on this boat especially with a coolant leak and a voltage issue I have a safe Harbor Marina up near where I am in Stratford Connecticut and they are fantastic I have never had any issue like this there

What started out as what we thought would be a great place to dock our boat turned into a…read morenightmare. The owner of this marina is rude and has very bizarre behaviors. She actually stalked us, our guest and trespassed on our boat. She would called us constantly telling us our every move. It was as if she looked for trouble. Very creepy. She caused a scene so frightening in front of our guest, we were forced to leave. Many people warned us the reason the marina was half empty was due to the daughters behavior. Apparently once she took ownership after the father had passed away the marina is not the same because of her. Boy were they right!! Plus her docks are not maintained. Poor lighting, ramp pitch too high at high tide, dangerous. Have and see others fall. Old fashion red wagons for transporting goods to boat are awful. Items fall out and make a lot of noise, very disturbing to boat owners. I could go on, hopefully you get the point. Stay away! On the upside the folks are our dock were wonderful. They will be missed.
