Didn't hear from him until the following Wednesday. I had sent an email inquiring about the same bike and never heard anything beyond the automated response that it had been received. When I contacted Ron the same day he sent me his info the conversation lasted less than five minutes. I've been doing sales of various types from retail to RTO to door to door and I understand sometimes there's little or nothing you can do, but it was like Ron didn't even want to sell. I contacted them regarding a motorcycle that was for sale. It was $3000 and looked great. I applied for financing through them and a salesman named John called me . Strangely, I was denied. I included a cosigner, and he still said I was denied. I decided I wanted to come see it and put it on layaway since I was denied for financing. I told John that I was 2 hours away and that I was on my way there to see it. First impressions of the place was that it's super ghetto. But once I got inside, I asked for John and I was told that he had left early, after I had just told him I was on my way. I figured something important came up, so I dealt with someone else. I put 30% down to put the bike on layaway, and went home. After I got home, I decided to try to get my own financing so I could get the bike sooner. I contacted my local credit union and I was approved with zero down, no problem whatsoever. It seemed strange that they couldn't approve me since it was so easy for me to find my own financing, especially given their name. I called John to tell him I needed the total out the door price so I could get the check, and that is when I found out that the dealer fees were over $1000. On a bike that only cost $3000. What a joke. They did seem to have it priced low though, so I was still considering it. Until I found out something they should have told me MUCH sooner. Apparently the bike had a salvage title which did not appear anywhere on their listing, and they let me come put it on layaway with $1000 down, and STILL didn't tell me it had a salvage title. And this is after a 4 hour round trip drive to see it. I am not buying a salvage title bike for full price, and now I see why John "couldn't" finance me. I believe he knew all along that it was a salvage title and couldn't be financed, so he tried to steer me in the layaway path to keep me from finding out until I had paid it off. When I asked for my money back, he gave me the runaround and tried to get me to buy a different bike. The bike he suggested would have cost almost as much as a brand new bike once you added on their ridiculous fees. But I was officially done with them at this point. I finally got my money back after about 3 weeks, and being told it was sent when he didn't even have the card number to send the refund to. After fighting with that for a week or two, I bought a bike from a private seller instead. I paid less than a grand more for a bike that was less than half the age, and had a quarter of the miles as theirs. Sold me a bike with a cracked frame,i couldve died.1 star based on process,picked out motorcycle,made a few payments to pay it off,received all paperwork in mail,planned trip to pick up motorcycle,picked it up,test drove it,drove great,no complaints,got home,wanted to ride but put it in the shop to be serviced just to be on the safe side.everything went horrible from there,found out the frame was cracked,motor mount was Crack on L side,& R motor mount was broken off-no bolt/nothing.chads' customer service is always great but I was supposed to hear from "gordy".paid $5k cash,it's an "as-is" but who takes off plastics to make sure the frame is good?nobody but lesson learned.i only asked for $1k but no response,nothing,so I got a $5k paper weight from them.absolutely horrible but the bike was "serviced" by authorized dealer,you mean the guys in the back!!!!!!complete bs. read more

I was willing to pay cash out the door for a bike but it seems there's a salty salesman that's jealous of the praise that Aaron is getting (I asked specifically to speak with him based on his online reviews) - he wouldn't give me any information about when Aaron When I asked if any price was negotiable, he snapped that the bike was "priced to sell" and that I could take it or leave it. First, whether or not that was true, he could have been more polite. Second, it's NOT "priced to sell" because I've been watching this bike sit at the same price for close to three weeks now. The bikes here might be adequately prepped, but I'm not going to cross state lines to be snapped at, for sure. Way beyond sketchy dealership! Aaron is the Sales Person and Andrew the Sales Manager. Charged an unsuspecting remote buyer/digital signature (a close relative) $10k purchase price in late August 2022 for a 10 year old Suzuki GSX-1000, when in fact the value 3 weeks later is now producing offers to buy of $4k-$5k. (Out the door price = $12k at AP). They require a buyer to sign an Affidavit stating (among other things) " buyer possess the mental facilities to enter this contract"! According to my Attorney when you see this kind of preamble to a deal you should run away. Know that you are working with a sketchy dealer with a history of nefarious behavior and likely law suits. Additional red flags are charges itemized on the Bill of Sale, $845.00 for Freight, really?? On a used in-house bike? Prep fee $722.00, for a bike delivered with no rear view mirrors and only 1 non-OEM key?? Michigan Secretary of State is now involved. The Michigan Attorney General is next on the list. read more

Bought a bike from them about a month or so ago, bike seemed to be in perfect condition.. so I thought I rode the bike for about 6 hours in total since I bought it (weather was bad) the bike started to die on me, I replaced the battery it died again. So I took it to another place to get it checked over turns out the regulator and stator wires were completely melted together and wasn't charging the battery back, wish I would've seen the reviews before buying a bike from them! Arron was very nice and helpful at first! I was approved for a motorcycle and paid them a $1000 down payment. Documents were supposed to be emailed to me the next day and I was told by Arron not to contact a shipper until the deal was done. Well I did and the price to ship the bike was a lot more than Arron told me so obviously buying the bike was not worth it. I contacted Arron about not going through with the loan with the reasons and was told they were going to keep my $1000 down payment because it was a deposit. Which is not the case. I never signed paperwork or saw paperwork for the loan. All the reviews about them lying just to get you to sign the deal are true. Please use caution. I have filed reports with the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission. I have also disputed my "in store purchase" with my bank on my debit card. read more

Go read the reviews from Mike J, Brian P., and Abbey B. - my experience was a mix of all those reviews. I drove over 2 hours just to get there and the bike was not ready. It had been "serviced" but it wouldn't start. I sat down to look at the paperwork - over $1,000 in fees! Freight fees, prep fees (for a bike that didn't run) and there was some other BS. Anyhow, no reputable dealership does this kind of thing. The bikes are garbage - tons of reviews state they bought bikes that end up breaking down and requiring additional work shortly after purchase, they are way over priced, and when I asked the sales staff about negotiating they actually laughed at me stating also that it was "priced to sell" but the bike has been at their shop since June. It is now the end of October and its still there, overpriced, and now has sat not running even longer. Hopefully the lawsuits, claims with sec state and state attorney end up shutting this place down as it is a complete scam. read more

There's NOT financing for everyone, there's financing for people with great credit that can cosign for you but thats not financing you that's financing them with you attached. Can only say that it was the worst day of my life having to get a bike from them. We got pre approved online, called to make sure it was available an appointment on the bike we wanted. Rented a truck from enterprise to be able to pick it up and made the 5 1/2 hour drive and they told us 'the bike got sent back to the auction house' and the other ones we looked at all "sold" ...we called on a Friday and Got there Monday morning....you sold every bike we asked about and the only one you had left was double the price? I agree with previous reviews (they are hidden under "not recommended) they pulled the old switcheroo on me as well. They seem to advertise a few bikes at well below market and then they are "sold" when you come in to look at them. They pulled it on me twice actually. Both times I picked bikes that were deals too good to be true and apparently were because I picked one bike that was "sold" even though it was still on the web site and then I was shown a more expensive bike with high miles which I turned down. I then called back on another bike that I had researched and it took them 4 days to tell me it was under deposit. The manager then called me to explain they were not trying to bait and switch and was willing to take a "second deposit" on the bike I was interested in, which is highly unethical in my opinion. read more

I wasn't going to do a review but this last issue put me over the top. I bought a 05 harley road glide with 40,000 miles without the $200.oo extended warranty for $9,000.oo in the end of march. I was told by erin that "the bike was gone over by there professional licensed master mechanic and a guarantee that it was a good solid bike with absolutely no mechanical issues, road ready". Word for word erins words. I paid top market value for this bike trusting erins word that it was a good bike. Its an old bike but it looks good for its age and runs well. I put 800 miles on the bike and realized the shocks were bad, then the belt broke. When I called aproval I was told to bring the bike in and they would make me priority and get me taken care of. When I got there with the bike, 1.5 hrs 1 way it was clear that they were not interested in fixing the bike that they "guaranteed had no mechanical issues". I offered to pay for the belt but i did not want to pay for the shocks because I was told there was "no mechanical issues" so in my opinion that was on them, they did not disagree. They had the bike for almost 2 months. I was very patient with them, covid was happening. when ever I would call i would get the run around "the mechanics are not in", "they are waiting on parts from harley" i called the harley dealer and could get all the parts that day every time they told me they were waiting on parts. I sarcastically offered to bring them the parts out to them. They declined. nobody could ever help me and when I got annoyed they seemed understandable and apologetic but irritated that I was annoyed and I could NEVER get a straight answer and I ALWAYS had to chase them down for anything. I finally get the bike back they put a new belt on it, put air in the rear shocks and claimed they did something to the front forks but couldn't tell me what, the mechanics were not there that day, or generate proof of the work done. apparently Gordy "the owner" keeps those kinds of documents in his briefcase? They cut the bill from 800 to 350 and said they only charged me for the belt. I was given a recipe for the 350. I paid with virbal agreement i would be mailed an itemized statement which broke down were my money went and what was done to the bike. I test rode the bike for about 5 mins out in Sandusky up to about 40 and the bike did feel better. I had to trailer the bike home do, to weather 1.5 hrs away. it was obvious after putting a few miles on it they did nothing to the front forks. I talked to Erin and he told me that I was "acting like an asshole" his words, and that I "was an inexperienced rider and just didn't know how to ride" again his words, when I told him I don't believe they did anything to the forks and when i called him out for not having proof of ANY work done. I was promised by erin that I would receive a work order in the mail on what was done with the bike. with my experience with aproval they DO NOT return calls. As expected it has been 2 months and I still haven't received any information on what was done with the bike. I took the bike to the harley dealer in flint and paid over 1200 to have the forks rebuilt, and the upper mount bearings replaced. I guess aproval powersports mechanics must have just missed that problem, or maybe just didn't do anything to the front of the bike? Now over this weekend The bike sat in the rain over night I see that they painted the dashboard and what ever they put on it has all washed off in the rain and now it looks like crap. This was my last straw. All you have to do is call almost any motorcycle dealer in Southeast Michigan and they will let you know about aproval powersports. Believe the negative reviews they are true. I blindly trusted aproval powersports 2 times when I purchased the bike and when I took it in for repairs and both times I was disappointed I was always polite and respectful till my last call with erin, after 4 months of bullshit I had enough. I feel like I was taken advantage of and they won me over and I am the one that got screwed even though erin told me that they cut the bill in half and bent over backwards for me. I certainly do not feel the same way, I paid for the work they did and they took 2 months to do it. I always felt like they were on the edge of hostility if I ever said something they didn't like. I paid top market value for what I was told was "a good bike with absolutely no mechanical issues" and that was a lie. In my opinion dealing with erin, he is the most unprofessional sales rep I have ever met. He was awesome when i purchased the bike but when it came to customer service and handling my situation he was extremely hostile and aggressive. Erin doesn't work for a reputable dealer because they wouldn't tolerate his unprofessional ignorance. Now I fully expect to hear from aproval after this in a negative way i am sure they will respond and by aproval powersports standards they will again be hostile and blame me for these issues. I called to check on a bike even though I read a couple of bad reviews from way back.. called in to check on a bike and they said it was available. filled out the credit app, got approved after they hit my credit report 7 times. showed up to finish the paperwork and was told it was sold. which means I put a deposit to hold a bike that didn't exist. I was furious since a caught a plane to come ride it home. they gladly showed me some more expensive machines. told them I didn't budget for that and that I wanted my deposit back, they fought me for my own money on a bike they didn't have. more than likely the one they showed belonged to a worker there. lost my mind, tried not to get arrested. and then I called in to bait them, called in on my wifes phone and gave them another name and mentioned the same stock number on the bike I wanted and they said it was for sale and I could put a deposit on it if I wanted to hold it for 24 hrs till I got there. to this day over time the same bikes appear from some time ago for sale. they don't have 400 bikes in stock, maybe if they counted the lawnmowers and such. don't use approval powersports they are crooked.
