Ladies with big feet, gather here! I showed Amanda a picture of my dress and she immediately helped me find a shoe that matched perfectly. The only problem was the shoe was not available at the location, Amanda,Jemeisha, and Jasmine assisted me in placing the order. They literally scanned the barcode of the shoe, made sure it was the correct item, printed a list of the stores that had the shoe in stock which was only two in the entire country, and helped me track down the shoe! I am so grateful for this team and all of the effort they put into helping me put my perfect outfit together. Also, if you need help with styling and outfit, I have worked with Jackie at this location who is also phenomenal. I cannot say enough nice things about this store. Even the merchandising team is pleasant to work with, and they ensure that the prices are correct. I had both receipts and the original tags. Despite that, a woman who I believe was a shift leader or manager approached the associate who was helping me and began inspecting the items in a way that felt unnecessary, accusatory, and frankly, demeaning. Mind you, the associate did not ask for her assistance and was in the middle of processing my return without any issues. I shop at this Marshall's weekly and spend a lot of money here. I have never had any issues with returns before, so to be treated like I was doing something wrong was completely out of line. The way I was looked at and spoken to made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassed in front of other customers. It felt like I was being racially profiled, and that is absolutely unacceptable. There was no reason for the scrutiny I received, especially when I followed every policy and brought the items back in perfect condition. Marshall's needs to take a serious look at how certain staff members interact with loyal customers and make sure everyone is treated with respect, regardless of their race or background. This experience was disappointing and embarrassing. From now on, I'll take my Black dollars elsewhere.
