I really appreciate how neat everything was, and how the clothing was reliably sorted by size. It made the browsing experience really enjoyable. There were lots of unique pieces and good materials. I ended up snagging a pair of Sam Edelman boots for under $20, and they were in great condition. There is a stamp card available as well! You get a stamp for each shopping trip over $20. Once you fill the card, you get $$ off your next purchase (I forget the amount off the top of my head). The manager mentioned the toy fair in a couple of weeks and after that, what little space was available now would be crammed with new things. That will be yet more bad news. Nearly everything was reasonably priced, less than in competing stores and in fact, I didn't notice a lot of duplication with things available in chain box stores. That makes The Toy Shoppe good for picking up something different. Despite escaping from The Toy Shoppe with only one item, I saw enough, like balsa planes, classic harley motorcycle models, and what looks to be the first of a train collection, to know I'll be visiting again.
