Both Hannah's and Landry don't even get me started are so much fun to be around. The selection speaks for itself, but they go above and beyond when it comes to service. They periodically send me texts of new collections and they already know what I like so... All I can say is when I walk into the store on Daniels I feel like I'm walking into like an airport where I know no one. I don't even go anymore. But check out the back of my car I came for one pair of boots. And I regret nothing! Sitting in the parking lot, heading in for round two. Great store, great styles, cool clothes! The clothes can average anywhere from $50-$300 but such a great place to get staple items and event attire! I used to love coming here and have purchased some of my favorite clothes at this location. The staff was friendly and engaging. I'm not sure what's happened but now it seems like they could care less about customers. The atmosphere has completely changed and feels more in line with a luxury brand. This is a cute shop in North Hills! It's not cheap but they seem to have a variety of price ranges. For example a top could cost anywhere from $40-$250. In general this spot isn't exactly in my price range, it is a good spot to get something for a special occasion or when you want to treat yourself. The staff was friendly enough, they didn't hover which was appreciated. The shop is on the smaller size, but they do a good job at stocking a variety of pieces. read more

When I was a UNC student, the trek to Uniquities on Franklin for an outfit for a very special date or evening was a rare and heralded occasion. Much time was spent with the selection. And much money (that I didn't have) was also spent. Now that I'm older, a visit to Uniquities has lost some of that luster... there are many amazing boutiques in the area, and a fatter wallet means my shopping opportunities are more frequent and therefore seem less exceptional. As all these years have passed, Uniquities has grown up to be a success of its own, with several locations. Of the stores I've visited, this is my least favorite... it's quite small, so the selection is limited. And of what was available, there didn't seem to be much variety. Lots of crazy bright prints, and big blouse-y tops. Pieces seemed mostly trendy, and I'd enjoy some classics and sophisticated stuff mixed in. There's a tiny jean wall. A few cubbies of folded tees/tops. I did find one good basic: a Susana Monaco dress with a unique neckline, that can be dressed up or down, perfect for vacay. Sales staff was very conversational. But this just isn't my favorite Uniquities... or my favorite for browsing clothes in North Hills. read more

I'm pretty disappointed. I bought a dress here for an event in Washington, DC. Shopped on my lunch hour, so was rushed, but found a dress I thought was cute and was on sale (originally $254, bought for $111). I wasn't told that the sale was final sale because the dress was marked down, but I've shopped here before and am aware of their return policy. So, I'm in DC and getting ready for the event. I put the dress on and notice threads hanging from the back bottom hem. On closer look, I see the hem is unraveled and coming undone. Since this is my first time trying on the dress, I'm assuming the dress was sold to me damaged. I ended up not wearing the dress that night. When I got back to Raleigh and called Uniquities, I was told because the dress was final sale, I wouldn't be able to return it. I explained that I would be more than happy to exchange for something else in the store so they wouldn't lose any money. They offered to have their tailor fix it for me, but I explained that even though that's generous, I bought the dress for an occasion and wasn't able to wear it because it was sold to me damaged. The person I spoke with (who wasn't the manager but relaying info from the manager) said that was their only offer. I didn't realize that when shopping in a store where the average price is $200+ I would have to thoroughly inspect an item for damage before buying because the store doesn't stand behind the quality of their goods. Is this Forever 21 or a high-end boutique? Anyway, I think I'm done with shopping at Uniquities. I'm happy to bring my business elsewhere. read more
