I have purchased blouses here for myself and my 17-year old niece. And they also carry the ultra popular Coobie and Spanx bras. I wouldn't say that it has as many departments as a bigger store, but it has a good selection and enough sales that it's worth dropping in. Do sign up for their e-mail mailing list when you're in the neighborhood; that way you know when they have department wide sales and markdowns. I personally like buying from a regional chain rather than the huge national chains like Macy's when I can, so Four Seasons is great for me. The salesgirls are very friendly and eager to help you try on, get more sizes, etc. It was very busy on a Saturday, for a good shopping experience I would come back on a weeknight so you aren't maneuvering around so many shoppers in such a cramped space. They also have unique gift/trinket items sprinkled around as well as handbags, clutches and wallets. I had clothes I wanted to try on, but she walked right past me and asked the other customer if she could start a fitting room for her, ignoring the pile of clothes I had in my arms. I have worked retail before, and I was NEVER even half as rude to a customer. Her attitude and behavior were absolutely uncalled for, and instead of purchasing around ten items that I wanted for my upcoming vacation, I walked out empty handed, and will never step foot in there again. I wish I could give a zero star review.

I learned that J Crew Mercantile is actually a re-branded J Crew Factory store that is opening in non-outlet plazas and shops nationwide. I am a huge fan of the Factory store product, so I think it's fabulous that they're making their product available outside of outlet centers. I am sure that the Peoria customer is excited to have this retailer in The Shoppes at Grand Prairie.
