I wouldn't say that it has as many departments as a bigger store, but it has a good selection and enough sales that it's worth dropping in. Do sign up for their e-mail mailing list when you're in the neighborhood; that way you know when they have department wide sales and markdowns. I personally like buying from a regional chain rather than the huge national chains like Macy's when I can, so Four Seasons is great for me. I learned that J Crew Mercantile is actually a re-branded J Crew Factory store that is opening in non-outlet plazas and shops nationwide. I am a huge fan of the Factory store product, so I think it's fabulous that they're making their product available outside of outlet centers. I am sure that the Peoria customer is excited to have this retailer in The Shoppes at Grand Prairie.

We had a great time, thanks in part to A Perfect Pear, in Peoria Heights. We visited a nearby jeweler and then decided to walk around the neighborhood's many stores and restaurants. It's apparent that many/most of the Peoria Heights stores and restaurants are closed on Mondays, surely because they are open on Sundays. Normally A Perfect Pear is also closed, but they are available to be open by appointment, and a prior guest with an appointment departed just as we walked past. We knocked and the lady (apologies for being forgetful with your name... sorry) working let us in to look around.
