When she finished, she styled it with a brush and hair dryer. It wasn't good styling, but I didn't mind too much. The hair cut itself was not great. It looked nothing like the picture, and she struggled with thicker Asian hair apparently. There is a chunk of bluntly cut hair at the back of my hair that I guess she gave up on before focusing on the top layers. I went from having long hair to still somewhat hair (chest length) that's an awkward length. I will not be returning.

This was years ago. Second complaint another student left me while she went to the Finance office and Miss Karen was livid about it. Third complaint was a few weeks ago. I had asked for low and high lights and ended up with grayish tones throughout my hair so upon calling that Monday to ask if they could fix it, Miss Marie told me it's a school and I said what does that have to do with anything so I went in on Thursday and they put a blonde toner in and of course it was better than nothing compared to the way I left so beware if you even speak up about the service because you're not pleased, you will be asked to never come back, this is very unprofessional and if it's a school, then the students would have to learn just as if they worked in a real Salon, etc.. Ashley was very professional and knowledgeable about my thick hair type and funky style. She took a fraction of the time the previous girl took to cut my hair. She then put some serum in it and blow dried it (which is no small feat with the amount of hair I have). It was so shiny! After blow drying and flat ironing my hair, she went back in to check her work, and we decided to bring up the back even a little higher (I like it VERY angled). My hair feels sleek, looks shiny, and has so much more movement than before. Just be clear about what you want, and if you do want something special, communicate that ahead of time so she can make sure to block off more time for you. Overall, great experience. I waited just over 2 hours...2 whole hours. I had an appt. I arrived ON TIME, and yet i waited 2 hours! I was able to watch a whole full length movie on their projector screen while waiting. I was in disbelief that a business would be so disrespectful to their NEW client. I actually ended up leaving. I couldn't take it anymore. The owner MUST make some changes if she wants to retain clients. I also noticed some MAJOR haircare no no's that would make me never come back. It hurts my heart to write this because i believe in small businesses. However, even small businesses are expected to be timely and accomodating to their clients. This has been a very unfortunate experience!!
