I would give the food 5 stars. I had a bridal shower and everyone thought the food was great, absolutely no complaints about the food. Thank you for doing such a good job on the food? We ordered the grill chicken platter, the all the way around platter, Crudités platter, fresh bread and the fruit platter. It was a nice assortment of healthy and tasty options perfect for the day. I'm a Yelp Elite member which means that I write a lot of reviews, but I rarely rate anything as five stars so kudos to Kerri Out Food for getting a five star rating from me! My sister and I hired Kerri Out to cater my other sister's birthday/PhD graduation party and we were so pleased with the food and the service! In fact, many of our guests commented on how wonderful the food tasted and the great service provided by the cater. Perhaps most telling is that Kerri Out managed to impress one of our guests who is a long-time restaurateur in the Annapolis area. Kerri Out provided a variety of desserts for the party as well as some savory dishes such as their pistachio crusted chicken and mini caprese salads (bite size deliciousness). Everything tasted wonderful and was presented well. In addition to the food provided by the cater, my sister and I also wanted to provide a few family favorites such as my Mom's popular crab appetizer and my sister's beloved cheesecake squares. Kerri Out was fine with us supplementing with our own food and in fact, they were accommodating and flexible, in general. It is clear that they are focused on not only providing great food, but also terrific experiences for their cliental. During the party Jessica, a long-time staff member of Kerri Out was on hand for the actual catering and she was a gem! She showed up in professional attire with everything she needed to make our party a success. She had her "to do" list memorized and immediately got to work. As she prepared food, she worked in a calm and expedient manor. I was also pleased with all of the smart questions she asked (Where would you like trash and recycling? Do you have anything special you need me to do tonight? In case your guests are wondering around looking for the powder room, where can I tell them it is located?) It was evident to me from the very first few minutes that she would do a great job. Throughout the night she replenished food, picked up trash and kept the kitchen tidy. It is important to note that she did not need much direction at all and took the initiative to make sure things were moving along smoothly. At the end of the night when the party ended the house was already clean and Jessica and Kerri Out catering were certainly heroes in my book. I would most definitely hire Kerri Out again and I wish Kerri and her staff all the luck in the world with her catering business. read more

Kerri Out did our wedding in Annapolis this past May, 2014, and both my wife and I were completely satisfied. Not only our guests complimented us for the food, but April, the chef, was very available and friendly, completely went out of their way to make things simpler for us (given the tough task of dealing with two brides!!)It was easy to set a menu with her and we felt that we were fairly priced as opposed to many other vendors who tend to take advantage once they hear the word "wedding". I worked with April's Table for my best friend's baby shower held in Annapolis, MD. I was coordinating from out-of-town so I mostly communicated with April via email. She was incredibly responsive and accommodating to menu changes. We had a nautical theme and April prepared a menu that was yummy to all palettes, but sill had special touches fitting to the theme (deviled eggs in the shape of sailboats and a sculpted watermelon that looked like a ship!) we also had a build-your-own mimosa bar with a variety of juices. All guests were pleased with the food and decor. We had plenty of leftovers to enjoy that evening and the next day, so I appreciate April and team provided well more than enough for the headcount. Since I live out of the area, it was not easy to determine what was my best option, I contacted Kerri Out after an internet search. Kerri Out Food recently catered the buffet for my father's funeral. We were so pleased with April's service, creativity and truly delicious food. The decorations reflected the masculinity and the historic time period of my 98 year old dad's life. The service flowed smoothly with all bases covered from start to finish, a real blessing for such an event. April's calm but enthusiastic competence was delightful. All of the recipes for the wholesome salads, sauces and trays were just right. I especially loved the salad dressings! You had to leave space to use each. The foods were beautifully displayed and easy to access. Dessert consisted of wonderful cookies and the best brownies I've ever tasted. Some of us couldn't resist a bit of desert first while waiting for everyone to assemble. Great anticipation for the end of the meal! We took cooking classes through Kerri Out Food, and we loved them! The menus we learned to prepare were new for us, using ingredients that are local, fresh, and easy to find. I highly recommend the food here, along with the classes. Some of the items we learned to make are items they sell in their store or use for catering -- so rest assured, they are sharing (what I think are) some of the best recipes with you. My favorite dish is their Pesto Salmon. I have not tried any of their sandwiches, yet, but I need to soon! read more
