Tim, one of the exterminators, came the very same day we called in our concern. He sprayed the nest and applied a powder, this being done with a very long (20'), unwieldy device. The yellow jackets are now gone, and it seems unlikely they will return. Tim recommended we wait at least seven days and to call if they did come back. Cost was reasonable given the stress we were feeling with the yellow jackets in our home. We are very pleased with the quick response we had to our concern, and are happy to recommend Buffalo Exterminators to you.

He is also NYS certified to use these chemicals. When he showed up is where the problems started. First of all, he pulled up in an unmarked SUV, and I thought he was a friend of the neighbors. Then, when he came into the house, he used the little syringe type of dispensers to place the chemicals on the corner of the windows. Guess what, the ants come from other places as well. Anyways, then he went outside and sprayed. Great. He then gave me a receipt and told me that in 2 months, he would call, or I could call him for re-application. That raised a red flag - who calls whom? Then he said that if we have any issues, to call him back in a week, and he would come and re-apply. Needless to say - we have issues, and 3 phone calls later, and 4 days, he has yet to call back. I give up, and am moving on. Chalking this up to a loss. Next time I will use a credit card so that way when someone doesn't show up like promised, I can dispute the transaction. Thanks for nothing JAMES!

The exceptional customer service started with their office manager Jenna and it only got better with the actual inspection that was done by Jason. Upon receiving the report, I was blown away by how detailed it was. I've dealt with a handful of inspectors and have heard about the experience from friends/family and I will say that this company exceeded my expectations. The report was really thorough and I can tell that he really made sure to give his 100% in every aspect of the report. I personally decided to pay for the additional services and I don't regret it. We called Ashland's emergency line and, within 15 minutes, Vincent (an Ashland Technician) called and assured us it was not what had been placed in the traps. He had us text him a photo to verify. Just a great, reasonable local service, which (BTW) has altered the frequency of their visits and number of traps multiple times at our request, without complaint.

When dealing with any pest problem, if living in a multi unit, check the tenant to see if they are experiencing issues and/or see if problem may be originating from there. That was a mistake we made and had to pay more later on to treat tenant's place. Nevertheless, I like Ashland Pest Control since it's a family owned company and one of the only remaining family owned places in the Buffalo area being in business for 30+ years serving both residential+commercial businesses. I was advised that there was a dispatch fee of $49.00 and that the job price would be determined on site. Electrician calls and says he can be at my house within 30 minutes if that's Ok - he was scheduled for much later. He, Dave, shows up and had the problem figured out within about 30 minutes. Faulty breaker and some other electrical stuff that I can't comment on because I don't understand it. Bottom line. Total job cost me $267.00 including the dispatch fee. I was seriously having night sweats thinking about what this might cost. Excellent service, great price and I hate to say this but Dave was super good looking! He even held his composure when my grand-daughters asked him if he was their Dad!

Called MJM Sunday afternoon, they called back Monday morning, and we had someone on Tuesday at noon. They sent Tim out, who was awesome. Came in, gave it 2 looks, said he had to go back and get some supplies, and came back and banged it out - whole thing took maybe an hour. I didn't really care too much about cost at that point because my son was home from the hospital so the nursery was out of commission for the first day he was home but it was super reasonable to get fixed. Like to the point where i should have just called them to hang it originally. Plus there's some peace of mind from having a pro do it. Will definitely call MJM if I need electrical work in the future.
