He is also NYS certified to use these chemicals. When he showed up is where the problems started. First of all, he pulled up in an unmarked SUV, and I thought he was a friend of the neighbors. Then, when he came into the house, he used the little syringe type of dispensers to place the chemicals on the corner of the windows. Guess what, the ants come from other places as well. Anyways, then he went outside and sprayed. Great. He then gave me a receipt and told me that in 2 months, he would call, or I could call him for re-application. That raised a red flag - who calls whom? Then he said that if we have any issues, to call him back in a week, and he would come and re-apply. Needless to say - we have issues, and 3 phone calls later, and 4 days, he has yet to call back. I give up, and am moving on. Chalking this up to a loss. I sent over some photos of the pesky bugs we had upstairs, and immediately I got a response with what type of creature it was, where they likely came from, and how we would need to get rid of them. Making the appointment was a breeze, and I spoke with 3 different people from the team, all extremely friendly and professional. I really enjoyed chatting with Mark while making my appointment. Vinny was our exterminator, and was beyond respectful and friendly. He explained everything to us, gave us our options, and never tried to push any other services or anything like that. He gets extra points for complimenting our kitties! We received our invoice maybe 2 hours after the service, which was extremely detailed and laid out nicely, so you know exactly what you paid for. Overall our experience was great, and I will definitely reach back out to them if we ever have any other issues. This is a great family business I plan on continuing to support.

This company is relatively new, however the owners are not new to wildlife exclusion services…read more.. they worked for a popular company that discontinued this exact service, so these guys ventured into this new company... there is another business with almost the same name... this one has the '&' in the name. The other company does not... So, here's what I think... I saw some unwanted wildlife and it's droppings in my basement... I tried not to freak out... looked up the local companies that address this issue and called three of them... WNY Wildlife & Exclusion called me back within an hour or two, asked me some questions about what type of problem I thought I was having, scheduled an appointment for assessment and estimate and showed up on time... Nick was the person who came to my house initially, measured, explained the services I could choose from (which were trapping and/or exclusion)... I opted for both... Nick assured me my landscaping would be a good as it was before they started... The trapping was handled by Rich, who came every other day, put down pre baited traps (they are baited and not set) for a few days and then set the traps... they did this for ten days before the sealing up of the lower portion of my house... I was advised that I could dig up plants that were closer than 1' to my foundation and porch areas, which I did. In retrospect, I should have widened that removal to 2ft. There was a bit of plant damage, but WNY Wildlife & Exclusion replaced damaged plants, topsoil and mulch. A team of two guys (Tyler +one) came at the end of the trapping period and put new grout around my whole foundation on the first day... they came back a second day to dig trenches that were 1' deep and wide, placed a wire mesh in the trenches and secured them to the porch with screws. They also covered all vents and openings in the porch with the same mesh, which they painted to match my paint. There was a third visit by one of the owners, Brian to inspect and take care of replacing any landscaping elements that were out of place or damaged in the process. If you own an older home, you know it's home moaning instead of home owning... and so I felt this was a necessary service, am glad these guys are providing it and I do recommend their service!

We have had a problem with Meal Moths. We contacted Fox as we already have a contract with them…read moreafter finding wasp nests in our garage two summers ago. Trevor came out, promptly, on May 12th, and put traps in likely spots. The traps caught some moths, but we still saw one or two fly through the living room almost nightly. Jonathan came out right away, on May 30th. He checked the traps and then helped us go through our pantry. Luckily there are not many things in our pantry that are susceptible to a moth infestation(mostly jars, not boxes of foods). Jonathan explained, in lay details, about this particular moth. We took all dry products, put them in ziplock bags and then into the freezer for 48 hours. Other than exactly one moth that flew by just after Jonathan left, we have not seen another. Thank you to Fox and Jonathan for beating this problem.

They gave very clear and detailed preparation instructions that made all the difference in the efficacy of the treatment. Then four months later, out of nowhere, I start getting notices that I have an appointment scheduled with them - an appointment I absolutely never scheduled. Very sketchy. So I called and I said (1) I would like the appointment canceled and (2) I would like my account closed and my information removed from their system. The guy canceled my appointment and said I needed to speak to a supervisor about the rest. I wait like 10 minutes and get connected to the supervisor. I explain the situation and he actually says to me, "What did we do to you? Why are you being so aggressive?" Keep in mind, I never raised my voice. I simply stated I wanted my account closed. I'm a woman, so maybe he felt like he could talk down to me. Then, here's the kicker, he says "You signed a contract with us." I tell him I absolutely never signed a contract, I got a quote once, and if he wants to claim I signed a contract, then I can start getting lawyers involved. Then he quickly backtracks and says I was registered to receive "complimentary service" rather than paid service. I tell him I didn't want any service, I never signed up for anything and I want my account closed. He says I'm all set, but as far as I can tell never removed my personal information as I requested. I assume this is illegal and I have the right to remove my account, so I'll be looking into it. Avoid Aptive at all costs. The places that would do exclusion work to address the core issue are Ehrlich and Critter Control. But I did my own exclusion work and haven't seen a mouse since.
