We rented 5 Waugh Manor, the pictures looked nothing like the actual state of the condo, the rugs were dirty, the linens worn and comforters torn, porch furniture unsafe and old and musty, clear safety violations for running of extension cords. Many many other unsatisfactory conditions, All of this for 2k a week. When I pointed these matters out to the rental staff they were dismissive and downplayed the issues, we presented many pictures to back up our displeasure. Our comments were met with, we will bring this up with the owner, this was something that they should have had a handle on before our arrival, they offered us a $104.00 credit which I refused, I would highly suggest that before you deal with this agency you know first hand what you are getting. will never deal with them again.

They were extremely knowledgable and patient as we looked at over 20 homes over a 6 month period before making our first purchase, they even took us via boat to give us the view from the lake at the homes were we considering. He maintains a positive and helpful attitude at all times, and works hard to get me into a showing as soon as possible when I'm under scheduling restraints. He doesn't try to cover up possible flaws (all homes have them!), and has given me respectful input when he felt a property wasn't quite right for me. In addition, he has knowledge and experience with many aspects of home construction, so I have been able to ask him questions regarding plumbing, electric, roofing, insulation, etc., while viewing a property and gotten answers on the spot. He follows up with my questions for the seller quickly and accurately. I recommend him highly and with no reservations for real estate needs.

He was completely clueless about everything and more of an impediment than an advocate. He screwed up the paperwork twice and stopped responding to calls after the first screw up. There was a ton of issues that came up and we ended up taking possession of the house two weeks after the close date because the sellers wanted to spend the 4th of July there. Steve agreed without ever calling us to let us know. Then, once we took possession, the AC conked out. Steve was like a ghost. No help whatsoever. I called the office and sent a letter. Steve's Dad called me and said that there was nothing they could do. I told Steve's Dad that we would be holding his commission due to the level of incompetence we encountered. Needless to say, this was just a bad business relationship. Four years later, we were in the market for another house with a new and excellent realtor Rich Benedetto. The place we decided to buy was represented by Steve Holt. Must be Murphy's Law in effect. I felt bad for the sellers because I knew they would not get the level of service they deserved. I was right. I drove 2 hours to do the final inspection of the home at an agreed upon time by Steve. About 20 minutes before that time, my realtor called me and said that the owner was at the house packing up his stuff and did not know that I was coming. I showed up and the seller was really pissed off that I was there. The whole thing was just uncomfortable. Steve didn't return my realtor's calls which is what I told him to expect. Maybe the other people at Holt are ok, but any place that lets this amount of terrible customer service happen has got to have a lot of issues. I would highly recommend Real Estate Advantage or Mayshark over these clowns.

Last year, we had multiple fruit loops stuck to our shower curtain.. Like neon green cereal (I get things can be missed but this was so obvious) This year, someone's used contacts were in the same shower & also candy wrappers / garbage under the beds. The lights in the one bedroom just didn't work. It's humorous at this point. This place is such an ideal location, which is why we continue to come back, but the hotel is in serious need of renovations & a new cleaning crew.

They have an amazing pool area where you can purchase day passes for 20 bucks per adult and kids are even cheaper. They also have summer passes. I was told you have to book it the day before for weekend day passes but during the week you may be able to do it last minute. The servers from the restaraunt come right up to your lounge chairs if you want to order drinks/food. You are not allowed to bring in your own alcohol but we brought our own food and no one yelled at us. I will say it was difficult to find 5 lounge chairs together so maybe plan to get there early if you have a big group and it's the weekend.
