This was supposed to be our birthday celebration trip, but it gets worse! Next day, around 2 PM, every fire alarm in the building started going off, and continued to go off for the next two hours. We were not forewarned that fire alarms were going to be tested during our stay. Because of the noise, we were forced to go outside, where we were met by more landscapers making noise. To cap things off, a rancid smell became noticeable in the second floor hallway the day we arrived, then got progressively worse, so by the time we departed on the last day it smelled like something had died on the second floor. Other guests staying on the second floor also mentioned their concerns. We left notes for hotel management regarding our displeasure, but received no compensation. We will not be back!

It looks as though renovations were started but never finished. There were exposed wires, protruding nails, and unfinished construction throughout, making the entire place feel rundown and poorly maintained. It's disappointing because this used to be a true gem of the area and a destination people looked forward to visiting. Today, it feels neglected and in need of significant care and investment.
