As for the fools who wrote the bad experience I clearly think you have the wrong store. Jason is a wonderful person. Devotes his life to helping others with all their needs. Never once has he ever pushed us into anything. I asked him not to long ago to come to my house I would pay for a service call to help me set up a turtle tank he stated "NO" due to he felt like he would be doing me wrong he would just talk me through it. He talked me out of the most expensive heater for my 55 gal. Said the others are just as good. He never does't answer a question no matter what time it is. He can even be reached after hours. For someone that does not care about our fishes needs then why would he work 16 + hours a day doing service and then opening his store. The only problem is Jason NEVER SUGAR COATS anything. And to me that's what I like. He tells you what's best for the fish not you. And some people just can't handle that. We will never go anywhere other than here. Jason keep up the great work. I do agree the parking lot is in bad shape but this store is not owned by Jason he just rents the building. The owner of the building is the one you need to complain to it is out of Jason's control. And for the one or 2 people have a problem the people who respect and use Jason on a daily, weekly or monthly basis know better He doesn't have the fanciest tanks but his fish don't stay long and they are well taken care of. He takes care of his fish. Not once have I went into the store and found a dead fish in his tanks. Every day that I walk into other fish stores there are dead fish in 3 or 4 of the tanks. read more

If there was a 6th Star - Aqua Mart would get it! We have been Customers of Aqua Mart since the 90s! When we got our latest Saltwater Tank - Jason moved it from Mims to Merritt Island. Before the move we asked many questions for placement, adding fish, etc. He answered all our questions and got us all set up. Went to the store to get more fish - they tested our water and we were ready to go. Asked more questions and brought home more fish for the tank. I would not go anywhere else for our Saltwater Tank needs! Jason is a Hard Worker and runs a great business. He also does the Maintenance on our tank monthly. He keeps track on when it needs performed and notifies us - he has never missed an appointment and is always on time! That means a lot in today's world. read more

He has always been patient and will walk you through the process when you have problems with your tank. He takes the time to diagnosing the root cause of a problem rather than just suggesting odd ball miracle solvents for $50 each. He will find the best solution for you and your aquarists needs. The team here excels at not emptying your bank account. You really get the feeling they care about the hobby and their products, and not just in it to sell inventory. I have been a customer of Aqua Mart for the past three years, and have always received great service, though at times the store can get busy and one must wait their turn. I started with a small betta tank, acquired a larger freshwater tank, and then added a small saltwater tank, which I recently had Jason out to upgrade to a larger one. I really love watching all the little critters and beautiful fish I have in my tank. Jason comes out once a month and services the tank, which is a real plus. I've learned a lot about salt tanks over the years, and Jason is quick to guide me in the right direction, never tries to sell more expensive things than I need, which has brought me to where I am today with an awesome set up. Aqua mart is such a good fish store I have known the owner Jason for along time and he has always been honest and helpful and I had a wonderful beautiful salt water tank because of him and his staff. Reading some of the reviews on here are so far from accurate any negative reviews must be made up by people with nothing better to do than to try and give such a great store a bad name and I have not always been Jason's favorite customer I was a pain In His butt but he always still helped me with my tank and my fish actually he set my tank up from the beginning and came and maintained it he always made time for my needs and I know a lot of people would agree that he always makes time for anyone and there tanks!!! EXCELLENT establishment. We have used Jason from day one and have never had an issue. Customer service is excellent! I have never had any issues getting what we need, if he didn't have it he always got it for us. We love our tank and will be starting a salt water in the near future. Please don't buy Cichlids here because this place is filthy. The owner is especially supercilious and cocky and impossible to negotiate with after the sale. You will find dead, sick and stressed out Cichlids. If that is not enough, the parking lot pot holes will scare you away. There are a lot of better places out there to buy healthy fish. read more
