I came in with builder gel already on my nails, and while I agreed to remove the previous set and add a $10 French tip on 4 nails, I was never told about extra charges added at checkout for "soaking off" and "length." Charging extra for removal makes no sense when nails are typically filed down during a new set anyway, and charging for length feels like an unnecessary add-on since maintaining length is part of regular fills and sets. Listing lower prices online only to add surprise fees is misleading, so I'd recommend asking about every charge beforehand. What made this worse is less than two weeks later my builder gel started separating from my natural nails and one completely popped off. During the appointment my nails were also burning badly under the UV light, which has never happened to me before despite getting builder gel regularly for the last 8 months. I called twice to address the issue and the manager has yet to return my call. Between the hidden charges, poor quality work, and lack of customer service, this was by far the worst builder gel experience I've had.

I still went there pretty consistently since it's convenient to where I live, but the last time I asked the tech to make my nails a matte, and when I noticed she started to do glossy, I asked if matte was still happening. She forgot and sighed like it was my fault she made the mistake. The owner sitting next to her said to her "you wanted to stay late and make your money" when she was annoyed. I just said keep it glossy since I felt like I was inconveniencing her. That was my last visit so now I travel further to go somewhere else. Overall, can be good, but they have to like you. But it's not the most relaxing or enjoyable experience otherwise.

Nancy answered - can you get here in 15 mins? she said? 10 minutes later I walked into their little oasis. Lovely. Calm. CLEAN. I told her I loved Cat's eye nails but the other salons said it wouldn't look good on my short nails. One of her manicurists were working on my nails as we were all chatting. Nancy said - I can make it look beautiful - and she did. I've been coming here ever since.
