We watch them get water then drinks... hen order place... meanwhile. No one has even come up to say hi... after another 5 mins I stop someone and tell them to send over the manager. I quickly explain our frustration and ask him to just send someone over asap. You would assume after this, we would expect all hands on deck kind of service... NOPE! I finished my glass of water and never received another. Stopped the wrong person I guess and never got another glass of water. Guess I was only allowed one. I finally got up to ask for the check and to remind the same young manager ( glad to see they finally promoted the bus boy) no idea what he was doing... so I remind him how awful their service was and infront of the server. I had the chili relleno and it was the best I ever had, it was lightly fried, stuffed full of mozzarella cheese and covered in light verde sauce. The tableside quacomole was so fresh full of tomato's, onion, light jalepenos, lime and cilantro. Fresh chips and all so so good. Service was very friendly and attentive. I was excited to finally try this long awaited restaurant and it didn't disappoint. The decor is colorful and cute, makes you feel like you are on vacation. The server was very friendly and helpful. We received chips and salsa immediately after sitting down. The rest of the food came out fast and the portions were generous. Make sure to come hungry! You could tell that the kitchen uses fresh ingredients. I had a veggie quesadilla and could tell everything was freshly prepared. No sad lettuce for sure! Like most new places in the area, this place has been filled up and hard to get into... here's a tip go for a late lunch. I've been able to go up and get bar seating twice and there was table available both times. The bar area is decorated beautifully with a tree in the center and lights all around it. The bartenders and weight staff are there quickly deliver complementary chips and salsa and the salsa is excellent must be homemade and you can taste the fresh cilantro. The lunch menu is good until 3 o'clock and has many specials for around $10. The food is fresh tasting flavorful and delivered quickly. This place is a true gem of a restaurant and all the bartenders seem like they have a great personality. I'll definitely be back probably quite often. This is a great new place in Parrish! The atmosphere is very fun and the light fixtures are vibrant and add to the vibe. The menu is large and there is something for everyone!! I am a vegetarian, so I was happy to see a big vegetarian selection! The beans and rice are all vegetarian, also! That is a big deal !! I ordered the spinach enchiladas and my husband had a burrito! Tried this new place for the first time. The restaurant was very busy, even at 3:30 on a weekday. We waited only about 5 min fir a seat. The place has been decorated beautifully and it has a nice feel. The menu is pretty diverse with a lot to offer... including a happy hour. I had the street tacos and mixed and matched ( Carne/carnitas/ Chorizo) they were very good with the onions and cilantro. I wasn't a big fan of the chips/ salsa... the salsa was very bland almost like a tomato soup ( others I was with thought it was fine) All and all, a very good experience... very good service. You like good Mexican cuisine; this might be your place. They open at noon on Sunday, and at least 30 people are in line to get in beforehand. Maybe the happy hour margaritas, beer selection, or good food are the draw. The interior and outdoor seating is done very well and high end as is the main bar that's as filled when we left. The menu is so large that you could bring 50 friends (if you have that many) and each order something different, and you might have covered a little more than half of what they have. Their house margarita ($5.00) is done well, and their special house cheese sauce is also good. The lunch special taco salad is a winner, and the seafood fajita is absolutely outstanding. There's more than enough to bring home as well. My only complaint is that the music is so damn loud you can't hear yourself think, and no, they won't turn it down when asked. read more

We went to this location this past Sunday at 4pm thinking we might beet the crowd, but we were mistaken they were very busy. We waited 35 minutes to be seated but by the time I was finished with my meal I realized it was worth the wait. The server was helpful and friendly. The ambiance was what one would look for in a Mexican restaurant. We ordered the rice and beans, cheesy rice, beef burrito, hard shell tacos, chicken enchilada, chile relano, and churros for dessert. The beef burrito and taco were really good the beef was tender and seasoned just rite, the chicken enchilada was ok slightly dry, the chile relano was good, the refried beans in my opinion were awesome (smooth & creamy), the cheesy rice was really good and something to remember, the churros were pretty decent with no complaints. I had 2 street tacos - 1 carnitas - very good & 1 steak taco that was dried out. Extra onions & cilantro are $0.99. My 2 friends each got a chicken taco salad which looked good. They enjoyed their margaritas. Margaritas are not made with sour mix but instead they use Sprite. As I dislike soda, I had straight tequila instead. The area has built up quickly and parking is at a premium it once we found a spot we went in and didn't have a wait since we chose to eat outside. Our server was attentive and took our drink orders. They brought chips and salsa over for the table. They have a great lunch menu and the prices are reasonable. I got the taco salad with ground beef and it was delicious! My one friend got a burrito with rice and beans. You are charged $2 if you want queso on your burrito. A small side of queso for your chips is $5. We tried to go on Friday night; was told wait was an hour and a half. Went instead on Saturday afternoon about 2:00; place was full and was told about 25 minutes. We accepted a table outside full sun because it was " first available " and it was quite windy, which kept us from roasting. Got chips and salsa immediately. Both kinda of bland honestly. Our servant was Morgan, and we'd definitely request her again. She made ordering easy and fun, and her recommendation for how I like my margarita was spot on. I ordered a burrito-small with no sides--and I was able to eat half. Hubby got a meal of 4 enchiladas with sides of rice and beans. He was able to easy maybe half and got uncomfortably full. Bonus for me- I didn't have to make dinner that night! The place itself is quite pretty, but small. Eating outside was perfect for us as inside and especially the bar was very loud. We just tried this new Mexican restaurant in the area for lunch and were highly impressed! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was great -- the music and overall environment made it such an enjoyable experience. We started with the homemade guacamole and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely a 10/10. The chips were also incredible -- super fresh, not oily, not stale, just perfect. Another 10/10. Their salsa was also so flavorful and paired perfectly with everything. For my meal, I ordered the steak with shrimp, and it was amazing. Everything was very well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The rice was also really delicious and complemented the dish so well. My husband ordered the lunch special taco salad, and he really enjoyed it too. We grabbed a seat at the bar because the wait was an hour. We started with a house margarita and passion fruit margarita. The passion fruit was overly sweet and had very little alcohol it seemed. We received chips and salsa. The salsa was watery with very little flavor. My husband ordered shrimp chimichangas and he was happy with his. I went for à la carte and ordered a small cheese dip which was pretty good but could have used a little jalapeno, pulled pork street taco, and a ground beef tostada. Had a great experience at Aqua Tequila Mexican Restaurant! I ordered the Mexican street tacos with carnitas and, while I'm not an expert on what authentic street tacos should be, they tasted amazing to me. The drinks were also a highlight, the Mango Chile mojito is a must try if you like a little spice and the Corona-Rita was really good too. We even ended up buying the cute cup that comes with the Paloma drink (no regrets). Our server was honestly the star of the experience. I wish I remembered his name, but he did an amazing job! Super attentive and definitely great at upselling (and I mean that in the best way). The vibe was perfect, the beautiful atmosphere and not too crowded. We tried fajita nachos, tacos and enchiladas at our table and we thought most everything was ok but also very bland. The steak street tacos were our best order. For ambiance, it is loud in the middle of the restaurant, I'd recommend the patio. We think they forgot to build in some acoustics. Having been to a lot of the Bradenton area Mexican restaurants - this one is going to need to step it up quite a bit!
