The best part of this place was the super welcoming and friendly staff. First impression are every thing and the bartenders and their radiant and beautiful smiles and great energy really set the tone. The place is well lit, plenty of seating, super clean and modern decor with some vintage flair. There is a great menu, plenty of drink options and every thing is served quickly. You have to try the scallion dip! It's amazinggggggg. The night I went they had live music and they have a whole calendar of events all through the year so definitely check them out. read more

Ambiance was a cute small little bar and service was quick right away. Was happy to see they had a vegetarian food item so I ordered that and enjoyed my bean salad with the orange alioli sauce. Would like to see more vegetarian options here but would eat again! read more

Amazing little cafe and event space downtown! Came here for the first time in like a year and was so saddened to see they got rid of most of the food items :( I had the BEST chicken salad croissant last year when I came here. I assume the menu items were chopped due to lack of consumption but I highly recommend this place if you need to get some work done or just need a place to cool down and mingle. The coffee here is okay, I never found it to be very good. However, the ambiance is truly the high point. They are always grabbing great entertainment and events to throw at their coffee bar and it works great to bring me back time and time again. I wouldn't come here for coffee, but this place has ascended to be an entertainment center. read more

I'd give this a 3.5/5 stars if I could. While it's nice and spacious with comfy areas to sit, the menu for food and drink is VERY small. The coffee selection is pretty basic as well despite being a coffee shop. It's nice that there's oat milk options for those lactose intolerant. read more

Kind of call this post hipster vibe, but in a good way. Open bright, friendly with some good tasty bits to have. The avocado toast was delicious, but the price of a very small pumpkin latte is beyond extravagant! Ouch. For that price, you get the super-size at Starbucks. This is a hip little coffee shop. The decor is simple, clean and modern. We ordered two cold brew coffees and some avocado toast. The coffee wasn't my favorite. Not sure of the blend they use but it was a little rough. The avocado toast was phenomenal! The pickled radishes really gave this little breakfast treat a refreshing twist. I wish there was more than a few slices. Customer service was good and the price is a bit high. It took a little while for avocado toast to be made, not sure why but again, it was really tasty. About $20 for two basic iced coffees and avocado toast. Ordered a fresh brewed ice tea to go and it was very strong, almost cloudy in color: not bad, not great. Nice place but they play really loud, upbeat music so early... I think im too old for this place, lol! The avocado toast was the star of this visit. Just an okay place for my personality and taste but good luck to Oscura. Definitely a hip joint to have coffee at. read more

This place is across the street from my office. I'm new to this area so I've been doing a lot of exploring. I've walked past it and made a premature judgement that had kept me away. It is a cool place, so naturally you see tables full of hip looking people that make me assume it's going to be very exclusive and not friendly. Well, I talked myself out of my presumptions and social anxiety and decided to walk over and I am very glad I did. I was greeted by a friendly staff member who asked if it was my first time in and responded with excitement when I told him it was my first time. I told him I wanted caffeine but no sugar and was asking about teas. He suggested I consider a cold brew. I really don't understand cold brews so I inquired and as he was explaining it he got me a sample and told me this would be more caffeinated than any tea they have. I actually enjoyed it and asked if they had any non-dairy milk substitutions. They had almond and oat milk, so I ordered a cold brew with a splash of oat milk. I drank half of it and felt like I had just taken a bunch of pre-work out. He was not kidding, the caffeine was strong. I got a to go cup and was told they hoped to see me again soon. The decor in this spot is super trendy and very Instagram ready, if you're into that kind of a look. read more

I have been riding past Oscura Cafe & Bar since they opened thinking "Hey, that looks like a cool coffee shop!". Well, I've since visited a few times and it truly is a cool coffee shop. So, if it's so cool why only 3-stars. Oscura only gets 3-stars because there is no consistency. If there isn't a particular employee making my drink it's not always the same. I love their turkey and Brie sandwich but their pastries aren't the best (I had a stale croissant). I'd rather come to Oscura to support a local small business owner but everyone knows that our special caffeinated drink must be on point, EVERYTIME! Incredible New Bar and Cafe Downtown with fresh simple delightful menu. Best Italian soda, salads, avocado toast, Cuban and so much more. I have been telling everyone how great it is and they all come back to me thanking me for telling them. They have Trivia nights; "the office", "GoT", and "parks and Rec" have been themes so far. Love it! They have a lending library wall. Several types of comfy seating, couches, chairs, tables with chairs, counters, window seating, and so much more. Never disappointed!
