There are multiple class styles/levels to choose from when you sign up: Individual, group, or parent and child for the littles. Each one has a trained life guard teacher going through various, age appropriate/skill appropriate steps. All steps much be completed before moving to the next level. One thing we like about Swimtastic is that after each session, the teacher gives you feedback for you to work on with your children to master their current level. We'd recommend Swimtastic to anyone looking for swim lessons for both young and old swimmers.

The variety of having a pool, a basketball court, a running track, lifting areas, cycling rooms, workout classes for members and guests, and more makes it optimal for all types of active people. The front desk staff is attentive and kind, very helpful if you need anything. The staff working the weights floor is mostly young teens, but they regularly clean and are available when needed. I have taken a few workout classes and absolutely loved it! There is a great amount of high quality equipment that is provided, and the space itself is very clean. Floor to ceiling mirrors allowed me to see my form, and to face the opposite way and still see the instructor. The instructor herself was friendly and uplifting, and kept the workout class moving while still ensuring we all understood each movement and what we were working. The staff came in and cleaned our mats afterwards, which is reassuring! The locker rooms are very clean and spacious in my opinion. There is always free space, and also three mirrors with vanity space if you need to get ready after your workout. There are also three showers, and an ADA friendly option as well. The pool is kind of busy and there weren't enough chairs for everybody, but other than that, the pool is very clean and the lifeguards were present and attentive. Attentive. There is a walk-in pool that goes up to 3 and 1/2 ft, with a water slide. Larger pool that goes from 5 to 9 ft with a second water slide and a diving board. The only annoying thing was that the pool with the slide and diving board alternates every hour, so you can only swim in it every other hour. On the other hours, the diving board and slider open but you're not allowed in the pool to swim. It does kind of cut down the amount of time that an adult could actively swim if that's your thing. However, if you're going with kids, this is a great place. The pool and the surrounding area is well maintained and there's a lot to do for children.

Huntington was confident they could help us with our goals. What we got in return was mostly what we could get from self-study guides, but my daughter did share she picked up a few tips. Worth it you might think, but not even close. We could have googled this. The stuff my kid told me was nuts, and it was amazing how the mgr tried to deflect it back on her when I shared my dissatisfaction regarding their lack of prep and communication. Just amazing. Took forever to get my cancellation refund and I had to call at least three times, and be unpleasant to finally get action. Hire a private tutor.

Good dance studio gone mediocre…read more They have a great ballet program but it has been overwhelmed by lots of competition stuff, belly dancing and zumba classes. If you take the conservatory program you have access to good teachers and classes, but if you don't take all the different classes to do the conservatory program (they make you take modern but only 3 ballet? silly) then you are out of luck. It started out good, but seems to be a money making machine. The best part is that there is a professional ballet company that rehearses there, and I used to think they owned the school. Turns out you can still audition for the professional company's kids roles whether you take classes at this particular studio or not. Not the best choice if you want great training. I think it is too big and too easy to get lost in the noise here. Big machines move slow.
