I arrived on time. Got checked in & strapped up (5mins) waited another 30-45 to get on the boat. (Did y'all not expect us to arrive on time for our reservation?) 15-20 minutes up in the air MAX. 2 dips at the very end of the short ride. I guess that's less effort for them but...not worth the money. Half price for life makes sense now. They circle around the little cove and drive ya back. Wish I wouldn't have dumped $200 into this. My family and I went parasailing yesterday. It was my 5 year olds and my fathers first time. The captain and crew were very thorough with going over safety measures, which made my dad feel safe enough to fly for the first time. They took extra care and precaution with my son, too. The mate, Tim, took so many good photos of myself and my family. He was super friendly and joked around with my family to make sure they were comfortable. The captain had my mother fly twice to make sure our weight was distributed enough to make the ride safe for me and my son, so she was stoked! The boat ride in was super fun too! Our first visit to Paradise Parasail was great. The girls at the desk were very sweet and down to earth and answered every question we had with a smile. Our crew on the boat was awesome! We let our girls parasail as we watched, but we are thinking we want to come back soon and do it ourselves. They were so helpful and had a great sense of humor which put us at ease. I have taken my family parasailing twice here. The first time was a perfect experience last year. I had my 4 year old son and they were very friendly and attentive to him making it an amazing experience. I took my parents this year. One if their boats broke so they were down to one boat. It did delay our time by 45 minutes. They were apologetic. The captains did their best to give a great experience. They were constantly getting called on the radio to hurry back because people were getting impatient. It was pricier than I remembered. It would have been nice to get a discount for our 45 minute wait in the sun and rushed experience. Overall, we made great memories and everyone had fun. read more

Amazing experience and great staff and crew!! We loved it so much we did it twice during our week stay! Chase, Shane and Matt ROCK!! And so did the girls that took care of our check-in/check-out! My kids are 8 and 9 and loved every minute of the experience...as did I. ParasailIng is super fun, but if the crew were personality free we never would have done it again. The humor and repartee among the crew was genuine, and Chase, Shane and Matt are clearly kind and real human beings! (Congratulations to Matt on his upcoming wedding! ... though pretty sure my little girl had a crush on you!!) And yeah, sailing high in the sky and dipping into the water can't really be beat! I cannot recommend this experience highly enough! The crew Bob, Cole and Tomi were super friendly and fun from start to end. Captain Justin really elevates the experience with quick wit, infectious energy and obvious expertise in his field. The boats and equipment were all very clean and clearly well maintained. We did the deluxe flight with multiple dips. Captain Justin knew we were looking for a big thrill and definitely delivered! He even noted that his goal was to "wake up" my sleepy teenager and by the end she was screaming with delight. They took several great polaroids of us during liftoff and have a LIFETIME half off deal if you bring it back for a subsequent flight. We will definitely be back next year! read more

The employees were checked out since it was the end of the season. They were shouting & swearing at each other most of the time on the boat & on the dock. They argued the whole time on the boat about conflicts that should have been taken care of behind the scenes rather than in front of paying customers. There was a little confusion first on what we needed to take on the boat ride and when to pay. However, Matt and Caption Chase were hilarious! My husband and I really enjoyed his humor while waiting to get ion the other boat. Caption Chase handled to boat very well while we were up in the air. The view was beautiful. On a girls outing to the Lake, 3 of us went parasailing and had a blast! We were all scared stiff but they knew what they were doing. We took the 4 mile pkg with 2 dips into the water. Coast guard approved so I felt safe. The trip was smooth and the view spectacular. Would love to take my kids and grandkids here to do this soon! Located on the Bagnell Dam strip, there are some treacherous steps to get to the dock. They also had boat rentals there. read more

We had a fun time, and safety was great, but our rides were EXTREMELY short. We had to split into two groups due to weight restrictions, so one person rode twice, the other two riders were up about 10 minutes. We spent $400, and we arrived, checked in, rode out to boat, parasailed (TWICE) ride back in, checked out, and we're back in our van in one hour & five minutes. Captain Chase barely spoke to us, maybe we caught him at a bad time as other reviews on here said he was fun. Can't recommend. read more

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! This was the most fun I've ever had at the lake. I felt like I was a family member to each person who worked the booth and the fabulous captains who took us on our parasailing journey. We got the DELUXE package. Its the best deal around the entire lake. You fly 4 miles with 2 dips and get a Polaroid picture. The Polaroid is good for,half off Parasail rides for a LIFETIME! Amazing! The dips are the most fun. The captains are awesome, very professional, and make the journey really fun! One of the highlights of my trip to Lake of Ozarks! Parasailing is so much fun! The trip was smooth and the view was spectacular! You get the opportunity to relax and view miles and miles of the lake and beautiful surrounding scenery. We purchased the package that included two dips into the water, which was nice on the hot day. I was lucky enough to get to ride again immediately following my trip while out with a family that included two young boys. Because they needed a little extra weight I was given the opportunity to ride again...so I jumped at the chance! I'm sure these kids weren't exactly thrilled to be riding with a "stranger" but they seems to be having a good time and appeared to love the ride just as much I did. The only disappointment was not being able to capture this amazing experience with photos. The company did take a couple of Polaroid's but from my understanding we weren't allowed to have camera's or our phones to take pictures. The employees were friendly, funny and made sure we had a good time and enjoyed our ride. The price itself was a little pricey for the total amount of time you spend in the air but the experience itself was outstanding and a memory I will not forget! read more

Overall, parasailing was an awesome experience that I would love to do again. I just don't know that I would return to this particular company. The ladies at the front desk were nice and helpful! But, the men on the boat were incredibly unprofessional and made myself, my sister and sister-in-law feel extremely uncomfortable ( particularly the shuttle driver). I can count over ten remarks that were made that were harassing and inappropriate. We are all people that can take a joke, but a line was crossed multiple times. I'm sure the staff was "joking" but it really took away from our experience as a whole. The last negative I will mention is that the driver of the boat was repeatedly texting while the riders were in the air. I certainly didn't feel safe for myself or the people I attended with. Being high in the air is already a scary experience and watching the driver focus on his phone instead of the water, did not make me feel more at ease. I really hope these things do not happen consistently because I believe there were great people working there with the exception of a couple people and that they have the potential to provide a great experience! read more
