Instead of handling the situation honestly and professionally, the sales representative immediately began making blatantly misleading claims in an attempt to keep my deposit. I was told I could not cancel because the "3 business days" included the weekend simply because "they work 7 days a week." That is not how business days are commonly interpreted, and when I began asking direct questions about the contract language, the answers became evasive very quickly. The representative also repeatedly avoided answering a very simple question: had materials actually been ordered or not? Considering the contract specifically ties deductions to actual costs like freight, restocking, and related charges, that question mattered. Instead of giving a straight answer, I got vague responses, pressure tactics, and constant attempts to hide behind "policy." The most telling part of this entire experience was what happened once corporate became involved. The GM from the Georgia corporate office personally reviewed the situation and contacted the local branch directly. Within ONE HOUR, I suddenly received a callback from the same office that had been refusing my cancellation, now saying the cancellation was accepted and my refund would be issued. Funny how quickly the story changed once someone higher up looked at it. I received my full refund check within five days. That alone should tell future customers everything they need to know about how this local branch was handling the situation before corporate stepped in. Credit to the corporate GM for making it right. Without his involvement, I honestly believe the local branch would have continued trying to stonewall and misrepresent the terms of the agreement in order to keep my money. Read every line of your contract carefully, get everything in writing, and do not blindly accept what this branch tells you if something feels off.

Despite these challenges, there were NO problems as the team was very skilled. Additionally, they were punctual, worked hard, and cleaned up all the debris. BTW, M&R is even insured (they provided me a certificate of insurance for both liability and workmen's comp). Definitely recommend them for the DC/VA/MD areas!! P.S. Marvin came out to give an estimate. He was very courteous, prompt, and reassuring, and provided a reasonable cost to start the next morning in advance of the approaching bad weather system. He emailed a contract that evening along with his license and insurance verification. Ronnie then came on time the following day with his four-person crew, along with a big truck, wood chipper, chain saws, and all the necessary equipment. He confirmed the tasks to be done and then got started right away. His hard-working team was extremely skilled in safely climbing trees, cutting down branches, and carrying everything away. Even for removing tall trees that were close to the house or power lines, they were able to rig ropes so that very heavy branches were able to essentially parachute down to the ground without any problem. They worked diligently all day and when complete with the trees, they used a leaf blower and rake to clear all the small debris throughout the whole yard. Before payment we did a final walk-thru to inspect the job and ensure full satisfaction. We were very happy with their quality, professionalism, timeliness, and collaboration from start to finish and definitely recommend M&R for superb tree services.

The appointment was set up for Monday July 13th and I was told someone would call the day before to advise of the time window that would be set up. No one called the day before and after waiting till mid-morning I called. I was then told that my appointment was not set up and that I would be called back after checking the schedule if someone could still come. After several hours no one called so I called again and was told the scheduling manger hadn't been contacted yet. After already been inconvenienced, I said I would be available either Wednesday, Thursday or Friday so please determine when someone could come and get back to me asap or leave a message on my phone as I needed to go out. No one called until 2:14PM the next day on Tuesday and left a message advising the service would be scheduled for Wednesday and also what means of payment would be accepted. There was no apology for the inconvenience and no time window. When the crew showed up on Wednesday, around 10:30AM although they were obviously not responsible for the poor customer service I received, I felt obligated to express my dissatisfaction at that point. They understood and the gentleman who said he was Steve Bryants brother-in-law said that he would relay my situation and that Steve would probably call me. I've waited a week to post this review in an effort to see if in fact Steve or anyone else would contact me with at least an apology for my inconvenience. Needless to say, this is not the customer service I expected and will be looking for an alternate company for my annual service.

They lightly sprayed a cleaning solution standing from the ground over the siding in a haphazard manner and never pressure washed it off, leaving dirt and debris behind. And the main reason for requesting the service was to address a discolored rake board at the apex of the roof, that remains discolored, as they never got anywhere close to it standing from afar. I asked them to get on the roof to get adequate pressure and they reluctantly climbed a ladder to get closer, but got no where close enough to have any impact. They would not get on the roof, which was needed. They also carelessly opened their van doors into the side of my vehicle parked next to them and chipped the paint. There is certainly a lack of quality control at Bryants, which is disappointing as we have always had good service until now.
