When Chrissy showed up, talked to us, and took us around Chicago she took all those nerves away. Everything went so smooth and it felt so easy and we couldn't thank Chrissy enough for providing such a warm and light environment. Our families even commented on how sweet and helpful she was. At first, I absolutely loved Patty. She seemed very nice. She came and took pictures for our…read morewedding. The photos took so long to come back. I waited about 6 to 8 weeks for the photos. When I finally got them back, I noticed there was nothing at all that she had done to the pictures. So I asked her why they took 6 to 8 weeks for me to get them back when there was nothing you did to them all. She Just told me that that is standard for how long it takes for her to get them to me. I still did not understand how long it took for what? You did nothing to these pictures. Plus you had so many more pictures you took and you deleted them. You told me that you went through the photos and deleted the ones you did not like. I would've rather you just sent the pictures to me on a flash drive after the wedding and I could've just decided which pictures I wanted to keep and which I wanted to delete. That isn't your decision to make. So when I had asked you if I could get the remaining pictures or at least a couple that I specifically requested. I remembered her taking certain pictures and when I looked through all of them I noticed those specific pictures were not there. So I asked if I could get those and she said yes. So I waited for months and months and I kept contacting her asking her where the photos were. She stopped responding. A year later, I've still not heard from her and I've still not gotten the rest of my wedding photos. I think the way she handled the whole thing was very unprofessional. I was kinda displeased with the photos I did get. Especially after asking friends how much they spent on their wedding photos and seeing their pictures. Many of my photos were blurry and others were not at all what I asked her to take, I didn't even get pictures of all of my bridesmaids and the groomsmen. I didn't get a picture with my entire family. I asked her about that she just said she didn't find the right time to get those pictures. As a photographer and you're supposed to find the right time.Those are some important pictures that meant something to me. I can never go back and get those. I personally wouldn't recommend her as a photographer, for the amount of money you pay, you could get somebody more professional.

Brett photographed my wedding and he was so good to work with, I can never say enough good things…read moreabout him! I had had my heart set on another photographer for my wedding but I was getting the run around as far as if they were available or not when I went to a bridal fair and came across the booth Brett had set up there. My now husband and I spoke to him and looked through some of his work and we pretty quickly decided to book him. The thing that appealed to us the most is that he does things outside of the typical wedding pictures - the wedding packages include a beautiful hardcover book in which your photos are showcased on linen pages. The bride and groom get to select the pictures for this book and then Brett adds some of his own choosing. He can put the pictures on 3D photographic paper, which really shows the color and texture of the picture beyond just a normal print. During the reception, he takes the bride and groom outside for a sunset photo shoot and then does another one with backlighting after dark; seriously, what photographer usually stays at the reception after the bouquet and garter toss?! Beyond the fact that Brett thinks outside the box, he is also incredibly agreeable and easy to work with; the day really is all about you and your wedding, he wants you to set the tone and he will do pretty much whatever you ask. His wife works as his assistant and his daughter is his second photographer. Any picture Brett is taking, his daughter is taking from another angle, so it really is as if every moment is captured. On our wedding day, Brett's daughter stayed with me and my bridesmaids to photograph us while we got ready and Brett was with the groom and groomsmen, taking pictures of them getting ready. (I also found out later that Brett and his family had paid a visit to the chapel in which we were married and to our reception venue in the couple of weeks prior to our wedding so he could get ideas and prepare for the day.) Back to the wedding day, they shot pictures continously from the time they showed up at noon until they left the reception at 10pm! My husband and I recently got our proofs back and the sheer number of them shows how dedicated they both were to documenting our wedding day. Brett called me to make sure that I had gotten to look at the pictures and he was so animated, telling me how he loves to put the books together and really tell the story of the wedding day through the pictures. He mentioned specific pictures that were his favorites and also pointed out some details in a few that we hadn't noticed yet. His dedication and passion for his work really comes through when you talk to him, he's a great guy and talented photographer. I hope to be able to use him for other pictures in the future and I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Can't say enough about Kim (Kimberlee B Photography) and her photography, she has been taking our…read morefamily photos for 4 years. She captures real life, natural moments in every frame, bringing our family and moments to life. A priceless keepsake I truly cherish. Kim has the perfect balance of professionalism, organization and comfort making everyone feel at ease during the sessions. Great with the kids, keeps them focused, while making it fun. She is super quick with her shots and captures the family while we are still fresh not over-posedand not forcing our smiles. I have never been disappointed with the photos from the session: we have battled freezing cold, not so cooperative children, runny noses, diaper changes etc.. and I have had moments thinking there is NO way we will get a worthy picture but we are "wow'ed" by what she has captured every time.

I had Kim do photos of my daughter and I last summer and then again this past fall. I was amazed by her work and incredibly happy with the photos she provided. I had such a difficult time choosing which ones to print out and frame in the house because I loved all of the pictures. Not only does she do awesome work, but she also has a way with kids that fascinates me. My daughter can be very stubborn and difficult to photograph but Kim always find a way to get past it and always comes through with outstanding pictures.
