I always had a stronger nexus with non-human beings after visiting here even though I never wanted hardly any of them as pets. I brought my young daughters with me on August 23, 2023. This place hasn't really changed one bit. Their fish are mostly healthy looking at affordable prices. They sell freshwater and saltwater fish and other creatures. They still have a room dedicated to birds - namely parakeets, cockatiels, and finches. Another separate room for reptiles, arthropods & arachnid species also still exists. At the front entrance their "furball" critters take precedence... rabbits, hamsters, ferrets, and hedgehogs. I loved their baby tortoises - so darn cute! They seem to sell out quickly of axolotls and ferrets and a few other more rare animals. All of the supplies you would need are sold here too. I know several folks who come here for mice for their snakes and crickets for their frogs and bearded dragons. The owners are super friendly & ready to assist you. I'm hoping my daughters will continue to do well in school and such so they may earn the privilege of taking one of these critters home one day... The only thing I would change about this place is the outside is quite demure and boring. It doesn't match what's on the inside at all or the personalities of the owners. It really works, and seeing his results, my whole family wants to send their dogs to puppy school as well. Bianca and Eric are amazing. Now for grooming, honestly, I don't take Romeo there anymore. He's a standard poodle, and for a full groom there I paid almost $100. Then I compared to another groomer when I went to San Antonio (these prices apply to all locations). Anyway, I wanted just Romeo's feet, face, and sanitary areas done. Petsmart said it would count as a full grooming (once again $90-$100 due to his breed and size). Meanwhile, I also called and took him to this other location called the Pink Poodle in San Antonio who special in poodle grooming. I had waaaaay better results than with Petsmart and for only $60 with a cute bandana! Another thing about Petsmart grooming, is anytime I take him, his haircut always looks a little funky, and I just wait for him to grow more hair again since it grows so fast. That wasn't the case with this last groomer. So to conclude, amazing training! Meh groomers.

About two hours later they called from the emergency vet because they cut her leg and she needed 6 stitches. On a 3lb dog that is a HUGE cut. The Vet took over 6 hours once she got there and didn't give her anything for pain because Pet Smart wouldn't pay for it !!!! The only thing they wanted to give her was one free hair cut Who are these monsters ??? DON'T take your babies to the Butchers !!!

I told the front lady that I'm interested in a ferret and just wanted to know care taking and maintenance, I've never had a ferret and wanted someone who was experienced with them to tell me what it's actually like hands on instead of getting information via web. She immediately gave me an ugly face and told me I needed to do my homework before she would sell to me. That its not something I could love every now and then when I'm bored. It was a store full of people and I just walked away. I've never encountered someone so rude before. I literally just wanted information on it instead of just buying one and winging it. I love animals and have never mistreated any. It was extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing. Do not recommend.
