Update to my review below: Max sold me a used control panel. He was going to charge full price and sell it as new until I noticed the control button was damaged. The next day, the sprinkler didn't follow its programming, so my husband called Aquatron. The supervisor Mike came by the same day and made everything right, installing a new wifi-enabled system. Although my experience with Max was unexpected, Mike and Aquatron's response were 5 stars. We are very pleased with the company, and they went above and beyond to correct the error. read more

Mike and Max were outstanding. I scheduled a proactive service to get my irrigation system ready for summer, and they quickly found and repaired leaks, replaced my master valve, and identified the most efficient fix for a larger issue. They were knowledgeable, efficient, used quality parts, and even safely relocated a snake that showed up during the visit. The price was very fair for the level of service, especially since my system had not been professionally serviced in years. We just had a repair/service call from Michael Hobby with Aquatron. He replaced our control unit, gave very valuable info to prevent future problems, update our watering app (with help from Ashley in the office) and set up a whole new watering schedule which will help our plantings AND save/decrease water usage. Called to get an appointment with this company since they installed our irrigation system when our house was built Her answer "well we don't come you your area very often so the appointment will be a month out " Ok I said and got the app out date My husband fixed several problems when he heard this distant appt Evening of appointment I left a message saying to cancel as our problems were resolved Also sent a text that evening Morning of appointment recd a call telling me I had not called before a certain time and therefore they would be charging me $ 370.00 for not calling to cancel !!! I told the very rude girl I was not paying it They have sent to collection and I wrote a reply to said collections stating the above Who charges their customers $370 for a cancelled appt?? I have used Aquatron since we moved into our house in 1990. They have done repairs, upgrades, revisions, and installed a hose outlet in a very distant part of my back yard. I have never been disappointed. I recently thought that I had a broken pipe. Robert came out and looked at my entire system. As it turned out, there was no ruptured pipe. Robert helped make some adjustments, so my coverage was adjusted. He took his time to I make sure that I was satisfied and understood the issue. I have always felt that their charges were reasonable. Several years ago, I used another company to fix a ruptured pipe, (because Aquatron had a full schedule) and their repair ruptured in one day. I will always use Aquatron in the future. I can highly recommend Robert, but no one from Aquatron has ever disappointed me. read more

I had one zone in my irrigation system that was not working due to an AT&T contractor using a vibratory plow to install fiber-optic cable to a neighbor. Mike came out and very quickly identified the problem and fixed it. He then checked every zone and head. He gave me some tips on water patterns and timing that I think is going to save me money and make the watering even more effective. Thanks Mike! read more

I called back and they acted like it was my fault. so, I gave them an extra chance and the tech. came today on Wednesday August 21st.he was here for 40 minutes and charged me $468.00 to move a sprinkler head 3ft. and replaced another and checked the lines. that's it! We recently had our 1/2 acre backyard cleared of trees, tilled, smooth graded, and seeded with wheat straw put down to protect it. Next, we hired Aquatron to install a sprinkler system. We had a tropical storm the day before they came to do the work. Our backyard was extremely soft and wet. I was surprised they show up. Now I wish they hadn't. Although I was working from home, the crew left at the end of the day without even knocking on the door. They just left! No one showed me how the system worked, and they didn't even program the controller. When I went outside to have a look, my heart sank. It was a giant, muddy mess. There were deep ruts and gullies in the yard, and large clumps of clay and rocks everywhere. It looked like they got their trench digger stuck in a few places too and just spun the tires until they got it unstuck. We contacted Aquatron the next day. The owner called me back, and said he was sending someone out to fix our yard. Two workers from the install arrived without proper tools. One of them told me he knew they'd done a bad job and he would try to fix it. They tried to smooth things out with hand shovels for about an hour and a half. They also asked to borrow a stiff rake from me, which they broke and didn't tell me. It started raining again and they wanted to leave. They asked me if the yard was okay. It was a little better, but what are two guys with a couple of shovels and a broken rake going to do about a 1/2 acre of uneven mud while it's raining? We have large swaths of our lawn where the grass never came in due to the crew stomping and sliding equipment around in the mud. We got a quote from our landscaping company for $1500 to repair the damage caused by Aquatron and replant new grass. I should note too, that the owner had assured us there'd be no damage to our yard. No one ever called me back to ask if we were satisfied either, they just sent the bill. We also noticed the crew left water bottles, food containers and dirty napkins (we hope, as it looks like toilet paper) in our yard. It's clear they didn't care. We would definitely not recommend this company. Do yourself a favor and do not use them. read more

They provide a nice service to winterize the system as well as make sure it's ready to go once it gets into late Spring. I am a portfolio property manager with CMA and am highly disappointed with the work and follow-up with Aquatron. I had worked with them on a differtent property and was very much impressed. Recommended them to my landscaper for other property and we have had nothing but issues, no follow up....too busy excuses and now a very high price tag for work that would cost a plumber nothing. All around excellent experience to work with Craig at Aquatron. He was referred to me by a builder/neighbor I trust and from the first phone call until the completed work, I was super impressed. Everything was completed as discussed and exceeded our expectations with the overall installation, especially helpful was Craig reviewing everything with me afterward​ to show me how the new system works and set it all up. This wasn't an easy job and the crew that did the work put our yard back together really well despite some saturated conditions from a previous broken pipe.
