We recently had Sprinkalawn install a new sprinkler system in our back yard and also update a long installed system in our front yard. The three person crew that did the job (led by Juan) was fantastic. They spent a day and a half at our house. When they were finished, there was absolutely no evidence that our back yard had been in any way disturbed. The design of the system (done by Jim Butler) was exactly what we needed to water the many scattered bush and flower areas and a lawn area around the yard without watering the yard where there is just pinestraw and mulch. They were prompt, courteous, did and said exactly what they said they would within the time frame and quoted price they promised. A tech came out post install to explain the system to me, and there was minimal disruption to my grass and lawn. Noticed that one of my neighbors had a sprinkler installed and my wife and I remarked how neat it was since it was hard to see where the pipes were laid. We saw the Sprinkalawn sign and took a picture of it to contact them. After their initial visit, they gave us a design of how the system would be laid out - that is just brilliant. The estimate was also very reasonable and included a rain sensor and wireless control. What is amazing, they arranged with the gas, electric and cable companies to mark where the underground wires were buried. Once that was done, the installation team came out and did a truly amazing job - leaving my lawn intact. Let me quickly say they were professional and very open to questions and explained what they were doing. JIm, the owner, was quite personable, patient, answered all our questions and openly discussed ideas for our lawn care. Plus there was no pressure for down payment. Payment was made only after the full install. Fantastic! In fact, I decided to take the maintenance plan which would service the sprinkler twice per year. I thought Sprinkalawn did fine work but I feel that they took advantage of me, greatly overcharged, and when confronted with an issue, were more interested in making sure that they got their money than actually working with me. I have a number of home repair companies (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) that I can call upon that are honest, fair, and I know that I can trust. Sprinkalawn is not one of them. read more

At the same time, we were doing some pretty significant landscaping and erosion control so our project was a bit complicated and involved many different parties. Simply the best! This was our first irrigation system and I will always use/recommend Sprinkalawn. From the estimate that Jim did, to the install, every detail was covered. The install crew did an excellent job ensuring the lawn damage was minimal and did everything they could to ensure the job site was clean (they even washed the mud off the driveway!) There were a few areas where they had to install lines under the pine straw and after they were done, it looked better than before. Poor customer service. Had installation work done by them and they cut the wire for my internet and cable. Didn't bother informing me and just left the property. Had to call my cable company to repair it which left me without connectivity for 3 days. When asked to rectify the situation, both the secretary and the owner just started arguing and denying responsibility. Would avoid this company at all costs. They claim to be a family-owned business with great service and care but that's false. Take your business elsewhere and go with another company that does good work and offers proper customer server. I'm glad you responded with another message full of lies Mr. Butler. The company you chose marked the lines and your team cut it so who do you think is responsible for covering the cost of the repair? Instead your team didn't even acknowledge it being cut and proceeded to argue and deny that they even cut it. As a business owner, you should have some basic set of morals than to openly lie on a public forum. The payment did not occur for 65 days because your office staff failed to respond despite multiple contacts from me regarding the cut line and updates regarding the payment. You called 65 days later only to rudely argue and refuse to offer any sort of resolution. I also did not ask the bill to be waived to it's entirety. Again another lie on your part. I asked you for 15% off which didn't even cover the cost of the repairs for the line YOUR team cut. You instead offered $25 off which I refused because that goes to show what type of company you are. You offered a 25 dollar concession for a cut line. It's also a reflection of your pathetic customer service that you explicitly state that you had to take time out of your "busy day" to respond to this post. I'm sorry you had to take time out of your day for this..I'll let you get back to cutting other people's lines. read more

Avoid the weeks of waiting and call someone else. I've had work done with this company before. The experience has been essentially the same. I was told they would contact me to schedule an install. Then weeks went by - no call. I'd call back, they'd say the same thing. Then I got an excuse that I talked to someone "new" and they would take care of my install. Then another week goes by and no call or scheduling. Then I called back yet again and talked to Becky who had been there for "more than 20 years". Guess what - still not on the schedule. This has been the case for two different projects I've tried to use them more. I'm going with someone else. read more

They've answered my request promptly, provided fast service to my issues, even during peak season, and were reasonably priced. Not exactly what you want to hear when you have an entire hardscape project on hold waiting for the sprinkler system to be repaired. Sprinkalawn did a great job installing an 8-zone system in 2016 as well as on several service calls since. However, my experience in 2021 has been an exercise in frustration. I wanted to be onsite during the service call so that I could ask technical questions about how my system was connected together. Scheduling a service call on a day that I didn't work was painful. I eventually agreed to a service call for repairs on the condition that a supervisor meets with me separately to answer my questions. No one recalls that -- they didn't write it on my "ticket". Their office systems are seriously antiquated; the billing person had no idea that I had outstanding issues and had spoken to the receptionist just hours before. She read their ticket back to me as if it were Gospel -- like I didn't know what I had asked for. Frustrated that I couldn't get my questions addressed, I had requested a copy of the installation schematic. Sprinkalawn wants $25 to email a PDF file. Sprinkalawn insists on a second service call at $139/hour in order for me to get my technical questions answered. I've spent thousands with Sprinkalawn over the past 5 years. Management hasn't reached out to me. I can no longer recommend them to anyone. To keep my irrigation system relevant I'd like to redesign the zones. There's the rub. It's too expensive and frustrating to get work done after the installation. Lesson learned: Unless you're a DIY'er willing to maintain your own sprinkler system, you're better off designing a landscape that doesn't require a sophisticated irrigation system. read more

Last year I had Sprinklelawn install my sprinkle system. This year I wanted to add a few zones to the system. Started to call this company weeks ago to have Jim Butler the owner give me a call. After repeated attempts leaving messages, he called to say he would be by on a Tuesday. No show and no call saying he could not come. I called back and left message with receptionist to have Jim give me a call. Weeks go by and I follewed up leaving messages to have Jim call me. Finally last week I called and left message with receptionist to have someone just call and let me know if they ae interested or not in doing more work on my system, just a simple yes or no. Still no phone call as of today June 13,2017. What a way to treat previous customers. I do not recommend this company despite good reviews. Something is missing with this company. read more

I had another company come out and do some repair work on my system and they did not repair my system properly and I ended up have to call them to fix the problem . Sprinkalawn did a pretty good job on installing a sprinkler system for our subdivision, very clean work. I have to give them a poor review because they buried some pipe in the state right-of-way that was damaged less than a year later when GDOT installed a sidewalk. Sprinkalawn denied any kind of responsibility for the damage even after we pointed out that they failed to acquire a *mandatory* permit from GDOT before encroaching on state right-of-way. What ensued was an almost comical series of excuses as to why they weren't liable resulting is us paying for the damage.
