I've been here twice now and it is such a fun and unique way to stay in shape or lose weight. Harder than it looks, but there are plenty of fun and upbeat staff to give pointers and guidance throughout the classes and to ensure a great time. Went here for the pole dance teaser, which had a dirt cheap special on Groupon, and ended up buying the eight-pack of classes, which still equated to only about $16/class. They also have four packs available, sixteen, and unlimited for the month. In addition to pole dancing, they also offer group fitness classes and acrobatic classes, along with others geared toward fitness goals. I've taken classes at many other places (just not pole) and I've had the most fun here. Bring some friends and have some fun! read more

I came here after attending a Complimentary Teaser class during Yelp! Fit Club in January. I purchased a 4-class package on the spot because I enjoyed it so much. In addition to the Teaser class, I have taken a beginner pole and pole I class both of which I've loved. I'm brand new to pole so the Pole I class is best and most comfortable fit for me. I've been wanting to try pole for years but I'm such a tomboy that I was scared but I feel completely comfortable trying and failing in this environment. There are all body types and people from all backgrounds here so anyone fits right in. All the instructors are super supportive and sweet and they take the time to help you with difficult moves or any questions. You can tell that they all love what they do. This is the perfect outlet for me and a way to motivate me to workout in a fun and sexy way. It builds confidence for sure. For all the workout buffs, pole is an amazing workout. I typically burn 500+ calories in an hour so it is well worth it. Not to mention it is intense stuff and works untapped muscle groups. They also have an app so you can see their schedule far in advance and book your classes accordingly. Which is great for those on a time crunch. I had bought a package of four classes and got sick less than 12 hours before a class so I e-mailed them to let them know that I couldn't make it and they could just deduct the class per their rules. Made it to my first class a Aradia finally. I've been eyeing it for awhile and I'm definitely glad I came. This studio is know for their pole classes and they also offer aerial. I signed up for Class Pass today and went to the Intro to Aerial class. I've practiced aerial yoga before but never have had the opportunity to use the silks this way and lyra hoop. Man oh man I've seen a lot of aerial performers and I have to say I am even more impressed after trying it myself. The strength these women have is amazing, this is not an easy thing to do. It was fun to flip upside down on the lyra and feel free!! I work out a lot and think I'm in decent shape but this class would have told me different. I love a challenge and that's exactly what I found, I'm actually dying to go back already. This was a great intro class to aerial and our instructor was hands on and friendly. I think the room is way to small for the amount of people in the class. I would have liked half the amount of people so we got a little more instruction and more time to play. There really was only time to try each move once which didn't give me to much instruction to get a feel for it all. You have to take at least four intro aerial classes before you can move to another class and they also offer a bootcamp. I'm now curious to try their pole classes as well This studio felt very comfortable and way different then some other pole studios I've been to in the Triangle. I started going to Aradia 2 months ago, and I couldn't have made a better choice! I have always been someone who is in the gym several times a week. Since starting at Aradia, I have no need for my regular gym; I have seen better results with my flexibility, core strength, and muscle definition by taking classes at Aradia. I love the pole classes, but I also love that there are so many other types of classes: Zumba, chair dance, Aerial Silks, twerking, flexibility, yoga, etc... I also have to mention the people; both the instructors, and other people taking the classes. I have not met anyone who was not friendly, eager to learn/teach, and extremely supportive of each other. I have never been a "group class" type of person, so I was very leery at first. That feeling went right out the window as soon as I walked in the studio for the very first time. The instructors and staff are always smiling and welcoming, and I find it is very easy to meet new friends. I figured out very quickly that we all share something in common; we want to have fun while getting in shape. There is no "standard" size or age for both the instructors and people taking the class, and it is a very comfortable environment. I know I have found my "fitness home", and I am so happy that I did. The equipment in the studio is top-notch, and extremely safe. The instructors are all well-educated in safety and techniques. This is very important to me, because I know firsthand how badly you can hurt yourself using bad techniques (I have also seen enough youtube videos of what can go wrong with cheap equipment). One last thing: Pricing. They have great prices, and you can customize how much you want to pay based on how many classes you want to take. Personally, I decided on the 6-month membership, because I like taking as many classes as I can each month. Studio is well organized, poles are great, space is super clean, and equipment is high quality. Staff and students are very warm and welcoming. Location is easy to find. My roommate and I each purchased the four class pass from Groupon. According to the Groupon page "Classes expire 60 Days from Date of First Class". (http://www.groupon.com/deals/aradia-fitness-14) We used our first class on May 18, 2014, and had an amazing time at the teaser class! The girl who instructed that night was fabulous. We left class that night feeling sexy, confident, and pumped about booking our next class. When we tried to use the passes for the second time (Middle of June) the studio told us it did not abide by the Groupon policy that is posted on the Aradia Groupon page. Instead they only accept the pass for 30 days from date of first class. I was within the 60 day window the company advertised on Groupon, but not the 30 day window. I was never informed by Aradia of the "misprint" or their 30 day policy until I tried to redeem my remaining class passes. Aradia is not accepting my Groupon even though I followed the rules provided when I purchased the passes. I have contacted Groupon about this matter!! I have an absolute BALL every time I take a class here. I haven't met ALL the teachers, but the 2 I've encountered so far are a pleasure to work with with (Leslie & Jennifer). I would have given their studio 5 stars if ONLY the pole at the far left in front had a mirror in front of it! If you get stuck with this pole during class, you'll be unable to completely see your reflection while working. Otherwise, I think this place is great and I'd come more often during the week if it wasn't too far away from me! :) If any Aradia staff is reading this, I would gladly donate money to a kitty for a "Mirror In Front of the Far Left Pole" for the studio! ... unless, of course, there is a good reason why a mirror cannot be installed in that section of the studio wall. ;) read more

I spent a week in town at this studio and I can't say enough about how welcoming and warm and friendly everyone is here. Such amazingly positive attitudes and the sense of community is so real and so strong! A real gem and I've been to pole studios all over the world. The teachers are technical powerhouses, fantastic and encouraging instructors that are truly top notch and super strong, fluid, and beautiful dancers that are all super smart and funny.
