The practice has become overly automated, making it extremely difficult to get in touch with staff or the doctor directly. Their website, which previously allowed messaging and appointment scheduling, has not been functioning for months. On several occasions I have had to go to the ER or urgent care simply because I could not reach my primary care doctor--who is supposed to be the first point of contact. When Dr. Emil was overseeing everything, the service was excellent; he is a great doctor. However, without proper access and communication, the quality of care is lost. I have since switched to another provider who is actually available to answer a call when needed. I hope this office can resolve these issues and return to the professional standard they once had, rather than continuing the current trend of being unavailable and overcapacity.

Dr. Yoon is likely involved in this as well, as the clinic itself claims so. It's possible that this doctor is personally involved in preventing volunteers from participating in clinical trials based on discrimination based on skin color, race, and so on. I experienced this at Parexel Glendale, when a doctor made caustic comments about my accent, skin tone, and so on, in order to prevent me from participating in the trial. Afterward, they asked for my documents, and when I provided them, they said they weren't suitable. They told me on the phone that the investigator might have requested them. Investigator is Esther Y Yoon. When I tried to address this issue and report such rude, discriminatory treatment, they generally simply ignored these complaints.

I came in as a new patient to request a hospital-based exam referral based on my specialist's recommendation. The referral coordinator, Diana, seemed unfamiliar with the process and instead blamed me for switching doctors, made dismissive comments with coworkers in the reception area, and discouraged me from seeking care there, citing the doctor's limited availability. When my referral was processed by the medical group, I was instructed to provide prior exam records and have Dr. Gaboian include a note so the referral could be resubmitted. I called the office, but Diana refused to provide an email, interrupted me repeatedly, and incorrectly claimed the referral couldn't be changed and that I would have to pay out of pocket. She eventually provided the email address in an impatient tone and then abruptly ended the call (it felt like she slammed the phone down) before I could finish speaking. I escalated the issue to the office manager, but my concerns were dismissed as a "misunderstanding," with no apology or real effort to help. Ultimately, I went to another provider. Within three days, my referral was correctly processed, approved and my appointment was scheduled without issue --showing this could have been handled properly all along. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this office--especially if your needs go beyond routine visits. If your case requires follow-up, coordination, or extra effort, be prepared for resistance or to be told to go elsewhere or pay out of pocket. Patients deserve professionalism, polite communication, and support--none of which I experienced here.

Magically refills of my medications were sent to CVS- shocker. 4. These people straight up LIED to Health Net saying they did contact me about their new policy and that I needed to come in person to see the doctor to refill my medications, THIS IS FALSE. I called and left multiple messages and wrote on the online portal, and not until I actually contacted my insurance did this office do anything. I have dates and timestamps.. this office is not getting one over me. I have my proof. So honestly, spare yourselves from Adventist and this medical group. They can lie all they want, but I work in compliance and mental health care and this is complete FRAUD!
